Not only will there be lots of food and beverages of many versions but there also be local beauty competitions and dance contests which I'm sure everyone will enjoy. One day, I too will go back to Iloilo and check out what I missed. The time I spent there with my family a few years back was memorable. That's discounting the fact that I even got sick... but I still did enjoy it!
The street parade will surely draw the crowd's attention, and so will the other parts of the program where dignitaries will converge and celebrate this momentous occasion for all Ilonggos. I still know how to speak the dialect a little! ^_^ If you are looking for something to do this season, why not try going for Iloilo and join DINAGYANG 2009!

Hi! I really missed the Dinagyang Festival of my hometown, I've been working here in Negros and haven't witness this prestigious festival for three years already.
It's really something to be proud of as a pure Ilonggo and nothing compares to Dinagyang Festival.
Hala Bira!
