Kris is such a good person. I've known her since a long time ago, most often when she was paired with Aljur Abrenica. Tons of things happened along the way and she's survived a ton of trials for years now. I can say she's successful already and she's one of the prized actresses that can do lead roles for GMA. She's been well taken cared of and I hope she continues to make more projects in this network. Although that day, I felt something was a little off. She was a little sad I think, hopefully not. During her birthday celebration at Roxy in Tomas Morato, she wanted it to be very different. It's still a charitable cause because they invited teen moms and distressed people from a local NGO (Kaisahang Buhay Foundation). She also invited close friends, fans and the organizations that have continued to support her all these years. It was really nice seeing them in one place. I saw them talk, really bond, something that Kris wanted to do even in the past.
She had her sponsors chip in some of their products. I was surprised to see Scent for Senses which had really nice products for aroma therapy. If you're just relaxing, and want to get away from stress, this would really be a nice thing to have at home. I also think it doesn't cost that much and is so easy to set up. I was already dreaming of a bubble bath when I saw the logo. It's nice that they thought about helping Kris on this day, the teen moms and the mom fans would probably need it.
Cakes came pouring in from sponsors GMA Artist Center, Pandelton (who gave excellent breads), Kambal Padesal, Aquabest, Tony & Jackey and Zanea shoes.
Before the Dance Party started, I saw Tess Bomb talking to the caretaker of the teen moms. They talked about the plight and hardships of these young girls who had to carry babies into this world at a young age. They need all the help they can get and it's a good thing to be in these kind of activities so they could at least take their mind off their condition. I see them smiling already and that part made us all optimistic.
Kris was gorgeous that afternoon. She has changed a lot since I last met her. She wasn't thin, actually she was more of the toned muscular type in the right places. I guess change is good and she's working at it very hard so she can get other characters in her repertoire.
She was prayed on by a relative who's also a Monsignor if I'm not mistaken. She has been blessed and they're asking for more so she can help more people, in her own little way.
This person from Tony & Jackey thanked everyone who believed in Kris. They also told us the reason why Kris is one of their major endorsers, they believe in her as well.
The Mom of Kris went in front to thank everyone who made her dance party a success as well. She also wished her daughter more success, and also a better love life. She's dating I guess and trying to find the one for her takes time. I see Kris tearing up a bit hearing her Mom talk during the event.
She also felt so nice about the words that the President of her fans club said during the event. They'll continue to protect her from bashers so she would just continue to concentrate on her work. Kris said she also had the opportunity to make a lot of people happy by just doing her job and that for her is priceless.
She also was surprised by Ms. Pinky Fernando of Fernando's Bakeshop. She said a lot of nice things for Kris and said she adores her. Almost all the cakes during the event were from Fernando's would you believe?
Kris then asked her fans and the young moms to join her and do the Dance Party. They all started picking up their things, worn their rubber shoes and danced to party mixes for a couple of sessions. They enjoyed that part the most! It was also nice to see Kris smiling back at her fans, and talk to the young moms later on.
It was really fun seeing these guys and gals be with Kris Bernal and Victoria Inciong-Co (the Latin fitness instructor). They did the whole thing and even got the food together with it. Kris made sure they also ate something healthy so they would get to connect in a more personal way. The food wasn't bad at all, I loved the tuna sandwich.
Kris, happy happy birthday! I wish you all the best! I hope you get what you want and need this year especially the "love life" part. You are successful because you're a good person and if there's something that you deserve, I think it's a man that would take care of you. I hope you're not going to be sad anymore, you're a blessing to other people. Stay happy!
