It looks like James Reid and Nadine Lustre are striking while the iron is hot. They've just finished shooting another feel good summer movie entitled "This Time" produced by Viva Films. The two artists has just finished the highly successful TV series "On the Wings of Love" and has done box office greats such as "Diary ng Panget" "Talk Back and You're Dead" plus the funny "Para Sa Hopeless Romantic" which also did quite good a few months ago. They're excited to do this project with Director Nuel Naval and promises they'll love the characters of Coby played by James Reid and Ava played by Nadine Lustre. Coby is a "Lolo's Boy" and Ava is his childhood sweetheart. Problem is, they only meet every summer and their relationship always gets tested since they are in a long distance thingy. It's very matured as James put it and he thinks the story plays mostly on love and relationships. Nadine agrees and said the story line is very light and easy to watch but doesn't promise kissing scenes which they did quite a lot in OTWOL in the past. They wanted this to be done for the general audience so maybe that's the reason.
They shot some of the scenes in Japan and said shooting it was awesome since this is Nadine's first time to see the country within the Cherry Blossoms season. She extremely enjoyed the trip and more so because James was with her. James added he was happy to have been able to sometimes show her around since it's James' second time there. They were also featured in a popular news channel in Japan and they were ecstatic as they saw it a few minutes after while having dinner. They are continuing to discover things about each other, even had Nadine surprised because James ironed his clothes all by himself.
As for the airing date, they are battling it out with Star Cinema but hopes that both movies would be appreciated by their fans. They're hopeful that they watch more Filipino films so they could help the industry and perhaps make "This Time" one of the things that could make them personally fall in love too just like them in real life.
This Time opens on May 4, 2016 and is going to show on theaters in major malls all throughout the country! This is produced by Viva Films.
