Kobe, Andre and Benjie Paras for Sun Soft

Direct Selling giant MSE (Marikina Shoe Exchange) got us up and early in Capitol Commons for the launch of their new products under Sun Soft Home Products (their detergent line), and boy did we like what we saw!

The Paras Family Benjie, Andre and Kobe serves as the face of Sunsoft and together, they had us take a glimpse of what they offer. I only got emails when someone sought for a player in the US, made arrangements and allowed him to play there. He decided to come back here and played for UP, that’s my parenting style. I made sure they are just equipped with skills that would assure them they’d do good with whatever they want to do. I support them whenever I can.”

Kobe says “I went to the states and was able to do chores on my own, I also worked on a budget. I had a washing machine which I regularly use, before I went to the states I already knew how to do that here.”

Andre adds “Yes you get your fair share of nasty comments from people, they say and treat you like you’re less than who you are. You learn to overcome these from knowing the truth with people you trust, your family. For those who don’t know I have been able to live independently, separately and so I do my own clothes and wash the dishes. We learned it all before we got out of our home.”

THE CLASH Starts July 7

Not holding back, the Kapuso network is coming out with the biggest singing competition on Philippine television this July 7, 2018.

Imagine, 62 of the best singers in the Philippines battling it out on stage after a rigorous audition that was held in different parts of the country. In the show, they will get the chance to pit against each other and showcase what the Filipinos are known for in the world, world class singers. As you may know, this will also be hosted by the one and only Regine Velasquez, Asia's Songbird. She will be flanked by Joyce Pring and Andre Paras as they bring you updates with the contestants all throughout the show.

They also will bring in esteemed judges like Las Vegas diva Lani Misalucha (who quirps she's excited to be back working with her friends), Aiai Delas Alas (who loves the format because ordinary people can now showcase their talent) and Christian Bautista (who wants to make sure they will have to choose the perfect song and sing their hearts out!). Now isn't that enough to be excited about!?

A Surprise Birthday Party for Andre Paras

It was his birthday a few weeks ago but I've always asked, how do you actually surprise a smart guy like Andre Paras? It was hard, really hard. They told them they had a meeting, and got his schedules clear, he arrived on the dot and the press and bloggers were caught in traffic. Some of them passed by his car, he already thought something was going on, something smells fishy. We kept our hopes up that he would still be surprised and prepared for that moment. People went ahead and got ready expecting he was going to go up the stairs, but he went to the elevator instead LOL.

He's charming, I was a little worried about him being a little sad though that he didn't give that much times to the fans that were messaging him on Instagram and have seen them there during the event. He's trying as much as he can even if he's very busy and barely get sleep. He's enjoying his youth, he's still playing. He knows he's going to have to get serious roles in the coming years - but he's not in a hurry. He misses Kobe, his Dad too. He wants to enjoy what he's doing now and he's thankful he's got to celebrate his birthday with people from GMA Artist Center, media, the bloggers and his fans. He's never been this surprised though, and he's very thankful for that.
