I'm Not Just another Boy Next Door

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

I'm battling time indeed. Christmas is near and I'm still single. I need to cover that up fast so I don't end up alone the whole year. I don't know but it's nothing like rocket science in this part of the world that it is bad luck. I'm doing my best though and I wish there was boston dating services here so I wouldn't have to go out and spend that much on unnecessary dates. Believe me I've been in a lot of those! I'm trying to spend on more appropriate and productive dates... if there is anything like that!

The weekend was nice though because I got hooked up. This afternoon I confirmed we'd be going out on Saturday. I plan fancy dates. That is the usual thing so I'm going to try something unconventional and different. I probably would end in a concept to look and feel something in a certain way that would not be too elegant and refined. It is a gamble but I'm all for it. I need to go out of the boring and into the unexpected. I haven't been too adventurous in the past and that might have spelled the failed ones. Taking this into this perspective and making my night a little more exciting than the usual might take me places. So you have to wish me luck again this weekend, otherwise I'll be old and alone in the holidays. You wouldn't want that to happen right?!

What would you do if you were in my shoes?!

Easy Media Duplication

Wednesday, April 14, 2010

I have given my URBAN themed models some copies of the high resolution pictures I took a few months ago. It was a little overdue. I already have that set sent to the organizers but someone took it out of our virtual drive. Good thing I have them on data DVD; so I recovered and sent them edited copies of it. I have to render more since I entered parts of it in a contest. Luckily I will now have my photo printed in their magazine; but I need high resolution ones. These are commonly large files and I would not be able to fit all of them in one CD or DVD. That is what you will get when you do full frame. Diskette Duplication is quite hard to do since media of this sort is not available at home or even in the office.

I need to also have the release forms ready since some of my subjects are also minors. Most of the street photos I have concern the situation in the streets so I can't really avoid that. I made sure none of them were used for anything but the art of photography. Since I don't know how to quantify how much media I need to supply the event coordinators so they can take a look at my work, I need an institution that would be able to produce large quantities. I also need to have the videos I made for the slide shows I prepared too. I need something like the CD duplication Boston has. Duplication and mastering might take a while if I just leave it to amateurs. I need professionals to do it for me and I expect something that would be able to emulate companies like COPTECH DIGITAL as a standard. I know we can get a lot of information about this there. It's where we can obviously see that Boston Printing has never been better. Thank the heavens for easy media duplication; it made my life a little bit easier!

Major Plans for 2009

Tuesday, March 31, 2009

There are a couple of things that I want to accomplish before the end of the year and one of them is to have a book published. I've been doing creative writing for years now and I think the time to pursue this frustration is inevitable. If people in the US can do this in their own backyard and small offices, why should it be a hindrance for me to do the same?

I plan to also have it published through E-BOOKS and get tons of online following for this endeavor. The plan is to get as much people acquainted with the characters first before I release them late this year. I would need a ton of resources to get the prequel done electronically because I know how hard the logistics of getting copies these days are. If my own DVD writers at home would not be able to do the job, then I should find companies who can do it for me at a fraction of the cost. It's quite sad I do not have CD screen printing capabilities too because that would really spell how good my package would look like. If I can't sell it to my friends and family first, I would not know how it would really fare in the market by then. I need to get CD duplication discounts too so I cut down on prices since times are hard. I understand how everyone feels because I am in the same situation as they are. I could not find anything similar like what CD duplication Boston has. They have one stop shops that can cater to my needs but that would really be too far for me to travel and generally would take costing sky high. Maybe I can ask relatives and friends from that area and contact them online so I can check out what would be best for me. Let's just hope shipping costs would not be troublesome because as far as I know nothing has surpassed the quality of work they do there.

Are you willing to donate for my book then? Ha-ha!
