Beautéderm Celebrates 5th Anniversary of Sparkle Partnership: Introduces New Ambassadors

 

Looks like the good people from Beautéderm are adding a few more good looking people on their roster of endorsers. 

Ms Rhea Tan says "There's no new product to launch but since I miss you all, which is why we are doing this presscon. Today, we are going to meet 10 biggest stars of GMA Sparkle Artist Center. Our best selling product the "BLANC KIT" is going to take the spotlight. Hydroquinone can be used for those who are in their 40's and are seeing lines. The Acne Banishing Toner, Moisturizing Sunscreen in the morning, Toner and Cream in the evening. You can use it in two months and see how even in one week, you already see the results. This is how you'll see the effects of the Blanc Set. You'll have peeling and drying out in the first week, and you have to trust the process. Then they introduced Cassy Legaspi, Rayver Cruz, Ruru Madrid, Buboy Villar, EA Guzman, Thia Thomalia, Ysabel Ortega and Patricia Tumulak. 

 

Ms Rei adds "Since it is almost summer, we have a new EYE BALMD'or and L'EAU SOLEIL UV Block SPF 30 Face and Body lotion that is not greasy and light, and can be worn over or under the makeup. You can use it throughout the day!" 

These men and women will be part of their efforts in spreading the word about their personal BEAUTéDERM favorites and the hit BEAUTéDERM BLANC Kit that's meant for Anti-Acne, Anti Aging and Whitening treatments. I've personally seen a lot of people use this and seen how they have successfully get results in a week. Not fully healed or gone (the time I saw them), but a whole lot of improvement and will be more evident in continued use. 

 

The kit contains a toner, an acne banishing cream, a skin nourishing cream and a moisturizing sunscreen which you use as a regimen. Doesn't matter too if you're a guy, girl or anything in between. Now that they have joined the BEAUTéDERM family, it'll be more fun in the next few months as they also join the events when BEAUTéDERM also launches more branches around the country.

Jason, EA and Paul Happy at GMA

It was a fun bonding time with GMA stars Edgar Allan Guzman, Jason Abalos and Paul Salas. The three obviously have hailed from another station but it’s nice to see their careers flourishing as they get really good projects in their new home. Seeing them happy, I felt their joy because they got to do unconventional roles, much different because GMA creatives definitely have been experimenting a lot on their shows. This formula has been so effective in their afternoon and primetime shows, which they note has to be consistently done all throughout the day (hence the coined afternoon prime).

EA says “As soon as I arrived here I already have a project with them on Dragon Lady this coming March 4. I transferred and got Korean Jagiya, Step Daughters, I am looking forward to very challenging roles and go to work to do different things. I love doing things that I do not usually do and GMA does that. It adds spice to the soap, it makes you eager to go to work each day. I do not have Mandarin training, but the most difficult is to do executive work. I make her day hard and it will be to a point when I fall in love with the Dragon Lady. I have been paired a few ladies but if it happens it happens. Artist Center sees me as a versatile character actor. I like Shaira Diaz, Kris Bernal, Sanya Lopez, they are all good. There are only minimal adjustments, I have to worry about the network and how I work with them. I want to do work like what Ken Chan is doing, I can offer my self in different roles and do it well, I can sing, I can dance too. I also want to see maybe exposure in other things. My advice to newbies, to pay respect to seniors, to initiate to say hi and introduce yourself before work. I distinctly remember a lot of young stars in GMA because of that. Here, I want to give my best and do great in portraying my characters and I know, I can do it like they know it.”

Jason Abalos says “I was really excited to see how the viewers accepted that role, I needed to be a woman, not gay. Totga was my first then Asawa Ko Karibal Ko. I feel it broadens our range as artists, we see our limits and go past that. I am a family man, a doctor and you will see that in our show. I want to work with the best in the industry, I want to be here longer. I want to even work in management if that works. GMA lets me showcase my talent, maybe I could thank my previous work as I have engined professionalism. I make sure I do not waste another persons time. I want to just work, I have done a lot at work, I am not expecting, I am glad it comes very often. I want to be remembered as a great actor, to remember my characters. I don’t even remember my names sometimes but they do. I hope people watch STOLEN where I would work with Sophie Albert, Max Collins and Mark Herras.”

Paul Salas says “I will be coming out in Kara Mia very soon, for how many years, this is something that I am looking forward to. It is an honor to be part of something difficult to shoot, I see Barbie and Mica on set. I don’t know what will happen with the pairing. I feel I am home with them, I have worked here when I was a kid so I am quite familiar. I can do action, drama, not just stay cute, I can sing and dance. I remember seeing this as fun, but I know this has to be all taken seriously, it’s our time to do it right and just hear people know I am a great performer too.”

EA will be on GMA’s new show Dragon Lady, while you have to wait for Jason Abalos in Stolen, whilst Paul Salas is currently on hit show Kara Mia. These happy campers deserve their breaks and it is good to see GMA is taking care of that.

GOYA is Taking You Places!

It’s been a while since I’ve had a Goya chocolate. I think the last time was me trying the GOYA Double Hazelnut Spread which for me gave the competitor a run for it’s money. Actually, I can say it’s actually better than Nutella. I might have been watching my sugar intake but during my cheat days I really indulge in chocolate and Goya delivers in that department.

Now if you’ve been binging on chocolates from elsewhere around the world and not trying local flavors, you’re probably going to regret it because as of date, I think Goya has been improving their recipes over the years. I know a lot of people who wouldn’t even think of touching local chocolates, but I would gladly recommend you to close your eyes and compare it, it might really surprise you if you just try it. 

I think the quality of chocolates churning out from their factories completely changed than when I last had it. Whether it’s milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate or a drink, I was really dumbfounded why it actually tasted better even if it was a local brand. I think we’re just a little too colonial to say the least, and I bet if people would take a second look they’ll be glad these products actually came from the Philippines.

Goya had us attend a thanksgiving presscon in Marco Polo Ortigas a couple weeks ago and to start of the festivities, they got us to sample just about every Goya product possible. It was a LOT, but I had my eyes on a few who instantly became my favorites. I love the Goya Dark Chocolate, the lovely Goya Milk Chocolate with Almonds, the Goya White Chocolate, the Goya Pretzel Twists and the Goya Malt Crunch Maltitos... oh and I almost forgot the Goya Take It 4 Fingers which I love frozen or freshly taken out of the fridge. I was being skeptic before I had them, but I was convinced, some of these items if not all were actually better than the competing brands. They’ve actually put in the work to now be called World Class!

When the program resumed that evening, I saw my favorite jocks ever sans Delamar, it was Gino Quillamor and Chico Garcia of famed radio show The Morning Rush. I love Chichi and Gigi, you have no idea how much I just play it cool whenever I meet them when I’m already screaming expletives in my mind because I get starstrucked while they talk to me sometimes. Imagine the people I listen to banter and make funny antics on social media is just right in front of me, aggghh. If that wasn’t enough, they were the best people to introduce the world class endorser of world class chocolate brand Goya... our very own Queen Pia Wurtzbach.

The queen told us she just arrived from the UK and imagine how people there were surprised that she had about 2 suitcases full of Goya Chocolates to actually share with family and friends while she was in London. Our Queen knows how to actually promote, imagine the faces of people who miss Goya back home, she just gave them a piece of it, they all loved it too!

Since Chico and Gino was also very happy about how they got to talk to the 2015 Miss Universe, Chico started the conversations with lines that only beauty queens would dare answer. They didn’t also hold back asking Pia Wurtzbach for tips on how to walk, stand like a beauty queen and she gladly obliged.

I also saw one of the finest actors in the industry EA Guzman. I was so touched he still knew me for interviewing him in the past, plus he’s a good brother to my model friend Michelle. Ahh how time flies, he looks so good in person!
