Ellen Adarna As Tanduay Calendar Girl 2017

Monday, December 05, 2016

I had a notion of sexy stars were not smart, eloquent, even a little too feisty. I found a very classy, outspoken and very beautiful Ellen Adarna a few days ago as she was revealed as Tanduay's Calendar Girl for 2017. We all know how gorgeous she is, but what was even more sexy was the manner she talks, I only saw her once (I think so), but I can say that I love her already.

Tanduay is bringing in Ellen Adarna into mainstream and social media this year. She's going to be featured in different webisodes so men would be able to make better versions of themselves, to understand the norm of confidence, grooming, and how to impress women. Now this is different, but Tanduay believes in making things special, just like their drink.

She's going to be more visible on the internet and with good reason, you better watch out for her huge pictorials and stories that's only going to be available online. This is a step that the brand is going to make to cater to a more Tito's and Tita's of Manila crowd, the Millenials too. She's that hot.

Are you ready for her?

Dennis Trillo and Richard Yap for "You're Still The One"

Monday, May 25, 2015

We got the chance to interview Richard Yap and Dennis Trillo at the Star Cinema offices about their new movie called "You're Still The One". The film also stars Maja Salvador, Ellen Adarna and is produced by film giants Star Cinema and Regal Films. We talked to Maja yesterday so we thought it was only Richard and Dennis that we were about to talk to, Maja appeared in the last few minutes as they were headed for a mall show. Anyway, it was so nice to see Dennis Trillo in the soils of another station. It's refreshing to see that all that network war thing seemed to have died down and they all work in projects like these. That said, they arrived inside the Star Cinema conference room and saw us bloggers plus some news camera men. I interviewed them in different projects but not in one movie, this looks interesting.

Richard Yap starts "This is a very different role for me because in a way this is very controversial if you compare this with other roles I've done before. This talks about giving a chance, if you are meant to be, how to move on, and ask what if's? You must find a way how to move on."

He adds "Women are more emotional, men are more of the thinking type, so you often ask questions before you try it. Vincent is an ambitious person, remember he helped Elise even if he's on the line. Maja and I haven't really talked that much because we had limited time, we often meet in the set. But we worked already in the past in My Binondo Girl, so we're like friends for 4 years so it wasn't awkward at all."

Maja Salvador during our blogcon this weekend.

Maja Salvador plays the role of Elise, a woman who waited for a long time to see a man who in the end was about to get married already. She was also in a relationship, more of a May-December affair with Richard Yap of which she says his role is pivotal because he'll make her realize a lot of things in the film. This project is Directed by Chris Martinez and will this May 27. Here's how she responded to some of the questions that the bloggers asked during the blogcon in the Star Cinema office.

"Elise is a very daring character, even the story. When the director looked at the script, he asked me if I could do it because I've been living safe in the past. Hearing I'll work with Dennis Trillo, I already said yes even if I haven't seen the whole thing yet. I'm already 27 and a bit matured, so I'd like to still try new things, things that women are going through in real life, something that we're not that accustomed to. The role is relate-able, something real. Working with Dennis and Richard just made me realize that they have different ways to acting, they're both gentlemen which I extremely appreciate, but they have their individual differences. Dennis looks so clean, so nice, he's so mysterious and I'd like to know someone like a Dennis Trillo. He's a good actor, and I've seen him when I was younger. I even tried to take photos with him in the past, but he was too quiet and I didn't want to disturb him then. Now we're doing a movie and I said yes 2 years ago, it was fate." says Maja Salvador.
