KRISPY KREME Opens Blue Ridge Branch in Quezon City + HALLOWEEN Donuts!

Tuesday, November 01, 2022

Folks at the Katipunan -Eastwood and Blue Ridge areas should be jumping for joy as the good folks from Krispy Kreme just set up a Krispy Kreme Factory Branch at Blue Ridge (along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City). This means it'll be easier to get those lovely, soft, pillowy donuts that's loved by so many right here in the north.

For those who don't know, a Factory Branch is different from the usual Krispy Kreme kiosk you see in malls and establishments. This means that the store caters to the area, cooking donuts fresh so you get the best ones when you go to a Krispy Kreme branch near you.

I made these! :) One is a garden, a monster, and a flower bed.

During the event, they also had us make our own Krispy Kreme donuts, and since it was Halloween, the 2 floor space of this store was full to the brim of other bloggers and influencers dressed as their favorite character for the season. Krispy Kreme also arranged several performances from real deal actors and actresses a whole musical filled with our favorite songs from Broadway to Disney.

Here's what happened on video (please watch closely as we're featuring the different donuts they have for Halloween that is available on a limited time):

We also got to talk to the Chief Operating Officer Sonny Tiong from Krispy Kreme Philippines and here's what he said about the new store!

Oh and when you see the HOT LIGHT turn "ON" on this particular branch, you can get a FREE glazed donut on the house (for those who are also buying of course!). The cute Halloween themed donuts will only be there for a limited time so make sure you get them all. They serve coffee, juices and other beverages too, so make the trip down Katipunan Avenue to get them fresh off the factory! Look for the Krispy Kreme bow tie sign, you wouldn't miss it!

For those of you who don't have plans yet for kids this Halloween, you might want to visit Araneta City on October 30 at 2pm.

You must also wear your spookiest costume to win prizes and dining rewards that will be given to lucky patrons, so go check out Araneta City's social channels and the individual mall pages to see what they have in store for you!

See you at Araneta City's event! I'll be there!

Halloween Fun at Ayala Ferndale Homes

Wednesday, October 31, 2018

I had a lot of fun a few days ago at Ayala Ferndale Homes in Quezon City. For those who don't know, this is an exclusive subdivision for the more affluent people in the metro so when we got an invitation I packed my bags and headed over to their community at the edge of Don Mariano - Tandang Sora district in the same city.

UAAP stars and UP mainstays Juan and Javi Gomez De Liano started to learn the ropes in this village, in the community court

Honestly, there were a few more villages in the area that I've never even heard of and security is very tight. I felt it was nice to see how they celebrated Halloween and the theme this year was obviously COCO, the animated movie that talked about the day of the dead. In the past, they all did the scariest stuff and this year, they told us this is a breath of fresh air especially for the kids who they didn't want to traumatize when this occasion comes. Them doing this NaCOCOtakot theme, was just amazing!

Here's our video blog, enjoy!

Thank you so much to Ms. Sally Jo, the people who organized the event and to Homeowners Association President Atty. Felipe Cruz and his whole family (even the one who cooked the lovely lasagna!) who accommodated us into their home and community. We had a wonderful time! Thanks to Alfonso Felipe (in touching photo above) who also took time talking to us before we went home. The community surely is tight nit, the kids had so much fun and it was just a day to celebrate all that! Again, thank you for letting us experience it all in one fine day!

Thank you!
