Joshua Garcia Cries Over Hotdogs

Monday, January 28, 2019

When Joshua Garcia arrived at his house, he saw his friends from a distance, laughing, enjoying their time together, holding in their hands one thing. It’s the Classic Cheesy Jolly Hotdog. It’s made of beef, enveloped in a soft bun then smothered with their special dressing, grated cheese and ketchup. Yes he feels betrayed because they started eating first, but for sure his friends made an effort to make it up to him by serving him the same Classic Jolly Hotdog, who wouldn’t be happy about that!

Ria Castillo the brand manager of Jolly Hotdog says “In behalf of Jollibee, welcome. For such a todo performance, only Jolly Hotdog can compare. What more can you ask for? It’s doesn’t only taste good, it’s delivered through a one of a kind campaign. We are happy to see Joshua Garcia be part of our Jolly Hotdog campaign, todo toppings, todo sarap!”

Joshua says “I’m really happy that Jollibee trusted me with this, I remember I always had a dream or having a Jollibee birthday party. Back then, it was considered not a complete childhood if you didn’t do it here. How I wish I had my own party in this place and have my friends over. It’s todo sarap, todo toppings! I wonder where my Jolly Hotdog is? (Then they served it to us).”

You will be seeing this new video with him and the rest of the gang through Jollibee’s official social media channels, Jollibee Studios on Youtube, Twitter and Instagram. The Classic Jollibee Hotdog only costs 50 pesos in all Jollibee stores, if you want one, you don’t have to cry.

A Meaty Holiday Season with CDO Premium

Sunday, October 30, 2016

It is certainly beginning to look a lot like Christmas! My neighbors already have put up their trees, lashed out all the ornaments and took out their long lines of Christmas lights. Filipinos are known to celebrate the longest Christmas season that starts as early as September. I can't blame them though, it just puts all of us in a good mood.

Well I felt that way a couple of days ago when a whole bag full of CDO Premium meat products arrived in my doorstep. Let's just say I didn't know who sent it, I think I just received a phone call while they were delivering it and when I thanked them through the number, it turns out I was talking to a delivery guy and not the one who sent it LOL. So in a nutshell, this is like a mystery basket. What's good though is that I absolutely LOVE CDO. Although I have to tell you, this is the first time I'm trying CDO Premium. So what's the difference?

The packaging looks so nice. One look at it and you think it's expensive but if you think about it, the imported brands cost even twice or thrice of what this is. For the quality of meat you're getting, it's substantially at par, I could tell they did take their time to create these lovely products to cater to a more pricey market. They still have the affordable ones which I have right now in my freezer but for those who want an even BETTER experience for hams, hotdogs and meat products, dish out a bit more and you'll get the PREMIUM line which I tried. Now I cooked these in different days for breakfast and dinner (because I cover events in the aftie). I took my time savoring each of the items because I know even if they stay in the freezer, they'll still taste good a few days after.

The CDO Premium Uncured Bacon was super good. This was my favorite among the things that were sent to me. I lightly fried it on a skillet with olive oil and did it just enough to have some caramelization on the edges. I could imagine people having garlic rice on the side or just have this with rye bread and a sunny side up egg for the PERFECT breakfast! This one however does not have nitrites or nitrates (which are still being connected to cancer) so if you're a health freak, you don't need to worry at all!

The CDO Premium Young Pork Tocino was my Mom's favorite. It's not overly sweet, just right. Perfect for a cup of white rice in the morning. I like the fact that this doesn't have artificial colors, and salitre. They use young pork for this so it would still be soft even after cooking. Makes sense.

I know it's almost Christmas but if you still won't be getting those huge hams from CDO, you can settle for several slices of it with the CDO Premium Classic Ham. I admit, I had this all to myself for dinner with a toasted bread. It was a perfect way to cheer me up after getting bruised from the hassles of commute and traffic. It's also gluten free and has no MSG, health freaks and allergic people should rejoice!

Kids would love the Super Jumbo CDO Premium Hotdogs. It's got that lovely meaty exterior that's so good to the bite. You can also have this with your favorite Filipino spaghetti, or just about any lunch box for school or office. They also had the salt lowered by 40% so if you are a little icky with it, this is your healthier alternative. It's got 0% trans fat too, no need to worry about having a belly later on.

I am going to make CDO Premium Meat products now a mainstay on my freezer and grocery list. It's all available now on your favorite supermarkets, grocery stores and meat stalls. It just takes a few minutes to cook and tastes great. You get premium products without paying too much for it, because CDO products are always priced right, they don't make a fool out of you unlike some brands I know.

It's time to eat!

Taters Snack League Launches New York Beef Hotdog!

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

It's my second time here in Tater's Eastwood and I'm up tp discover yet another gem in their books as they launched something really good. This is Tater's New York Beef Hotdog. I actually just saw this last week during the movie night I had with my folks and surprisingly it's very affordable.

They kinda gave me a hint the last time I was here. Just the thought that they will be coming out with new flavors patterned with US cities got me giddy. They are pegged like a baseball brand/Sports bar after all and it's a cool thing we don't have to go to the states to get these treats! I had to order one of these in their Eastwood City branch. It's right beside the cinema where almost all Tater's branches are found.Unless it's the big restaurant in Bacolod that is.

This stuff is for MEN. For guys who want adventure. For people who are not afraid to be adventurous and want it HOT! Just imagine your pure all beef Hotdog, smothered in ketchup/tomato base, mustard, my favorite mean green Jalapeno peppers, chopped onions and tons of pickles... I could have had 3 of these in one sitting. But of course since I was on a diet and I had to fit into my clothes, this mouthwatering piece of hotdog meat inside a well sized bun was enough to keep me sane throughout the day!

The New New York Beef Hotdog only costs 99 Pesos Ala Carte and around 145 if you want it with a huge Iced Tea and flavored Tater chips too! I highly suggest you ask them to put in flavors to your iced tea because they have blueberry and others upon request, and while it's still available of course! They also use environmentally responsible containers for all their food products. Because it's worth it!

No wonder they have awards on display. They are considered one of the best food vendors in Eastwood City. You should definitely try these guys out before or after watching a movie. If you are even lucky, you can spot one or more celebrities in the store. Case in point was Jinri Park. She ordered a couple of burgers and chips before they went in for a movie. =) Sorry I had to eavesdrop like that!

If you prefer a more healthier alternative, you can opt for the Churkey Burger which most ladies love! I featured that the first time I ate in this establishment here.

If you don't believe me, try it. If you still don't believe me, just look at this line in Trinoma when I went to the Man of Steel premier. Everybody else was ordering it... what are you waiting for? You must make time for yourself and grab one of these new New York Beef Hotdogs while it's hot!

Will update this post with more photos soon!
