A Legacy: Jing Monis and M Barbers

Had a wonderful evening with celebrities and friends of Jing Monis, hair guru and stylist to the stars. He's been in the industry for 25 years and has been the trusted person to take care of A list celebrities, influencers and models in the industry. I personally was a little happy to meet a person of his stature. I know some of the photographers he's worked with and they're all great. 

He's also helped a ton of models, sponsored quite a number so they could get where they are. He's also donned magazines, countless editorials and have already drawn praises from the who's who of the industry.

This evening was special because he's bringing in something new, his personal baby of sorts. I like it a LOT because I live nearby and with the way things are going in this community, we need a special place to take care of our hair without all the fuzz and fancy. Go for a more mom and pop shop, that cool barbershop feel, and he calls it M Barbers.

The Century Tuna Superbods Nation 2016 Finalists

Back from a very successful campaign last year, here goes Century Tuna again to choose the very best bodies, lifestyle and journey to the healthy version of themselves at Valkyrie in BGC. Century Tuna Superbods Nation 2016 is another installment of their yearly male and female search for that embodies their premium healthy product Century Tuna - and it looks good from where I was sitting. Men and women from across the Philippines and the US auditioned for this search to tell their journey and how they achieved their perfect bodies.

They've been doing go-sees since a few months ago in different provinces, different cities. They also have made arrangements to do another one in the US so the Filipino community could also participate in this year's search.

I had my favorites right off the bat, and here are some highlights from the press preview that evening:

Century Tuna Superbods 2012 1st Runner Up June Macasaet (who happens to be Manhunt International 2012 winner!) and Century Tuna Superbods 2012 Winner John Spainhour were there as judges, and to witness the event!

I had my eyes on veteran Philippine Fashion Week models and of course Clint Bondad who did a couple of movies already. The new ones can give a fight though, there were really sexy ones and the men with 8 pack abs which you can't discount. They introduced themselves first, then after that, we had our eyes glued on the stage when they showed why they're worthy to be at the Century Tuna Superbod Nation 2016!

Bargn (bar-jen) Farmaceutici Phils Co (BFPC), makers of Cosmo Skin, Cosmo Body, Cosmo Cee and Euphoria Maxx premium products just held their BFPC Beauty And Wellness Event at the event center of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. They had booths for all the products sold at a fraction of its cost and several freebies along with it. Celebrity endorsers John Spainhour, Gerald Anderson and Jodi Sta. Maria also were there to tell soon to be BFPC product users the good things that would happen if they choose to purchase Cosmo Skin, Cosmo Body, Cosmo Cee and Euphoria Maxx.

Owners and founders Nino Bautista and John Redentor Gatus Jr. were also there helping their celebrity endorsers take a shot at small experiments and exercise routines shown to the public. John Spainhour did some moves designed to take your ab workouts to the next level, I could hear Moms and girls screaming while he did this on the floor. Jon has really good skin and physique because he uses Euphoria Maxx of course.

Gerald Anderson on the other hand had some experiments showing toxic things that could be in your body, then used a single capsule of CosmoCee to get that out of your system. He also shared how sleep, proper diet, exercise and activities like basketball could make you live longer, and make you healthy in the long run.
