BALL LIKE A PANDA with foodpanda and NBA!

Spent the whole afternoon participating in one of many foodpanda and NBA activities last week, and it was nice to see how a lot of people were able to join in the fun whether on the court or on the sidelines. This is what they call Ball Like a Panda.

Since foodpanda is the official online food delivery platform of the NBA in the Philippines, they hosted several NBA tentpole events and promos where folks win NBA prizes and promos. This includes a trip to the US to watch an actual NBA game (this was last May) wherein JP Alejandro won. Aside from that, several NBA watch Pau-rties to enjoy food and fun with other ka-Pandas.

The Ball Like a Panda 3x3 Basketball tournament on the other hand was really the cherry on top. With celerities like Eric Eraption Tai, Juancho Trivino, Rayver Cruz, Prince Clemente, Wilbert Ross, Kuya Mikee Reyes joined real deal foodpanda riders John Alcanzo, Leonnel Baldo, Jeffrey Diaz, Jason Baldo in severa 3x3 games in Pasig. It was so much fun, especially with the UE Pep Squad cheering us all til the awarding ceremonies. Here's some highlights of the event on video, please enjoy!

New Gen Lead Stars on GMA's Madrasta

This would be a huge challenge for these guys, but after seeing the pilot episode yesterday, I'm quite confident they would be able to do a good job in Madrasta.

It's a new show, but casts include the new generation of prime actors from GMA's stable. They have done several shows, led some of them in fact; but the burden of having a drama piece and seriousness of it takes a lot effort wise as what I have understood with Juancho Trivino said. He will be also working with Arra San Agustin and Thea Tolentino (whom I love personally and in several shows). 

This series is about romance, adultery, and will involve their families. Check out our interview with them last week.

Make sure you watch the show as recent social media reactions have been very positive. I am confident Arra, Juancho and Thea can give you more in the coming days.

10 Reasons Why You Should Watch Wild and Free

Saw the film this evening, I actually find it entertaining. A little too slow much like a diesel engine that takes a little time to heat up and work but so far it’s a good watch.

1. It’s subtle, not hardcore at all. It has romance involved.

2. The security guard is funny, she injects humor quite nicely at the workplace.

3. It’s not so serious. A bit romcom in fact.

4. You’ll love Ducatis, you’ll love bulalo and the waves.

5. You’ll become cheesy when you see waves.

6. You’ll love the twists, it’s about love and family relationships.

7: There is soft something, not too hardcore if you know what I mean.

8. You’ll love doing the laundry.

9. It may be a bit... scary. You'll have lots of questions, but you will ask WHY.

10. This is about, more or less, feeding the characters ego. The best friends also steal the shine sometimes you’ll see them cringe, the main actors are also crazy.
