Love Matters at the ABSCBN Vertis Tent

The love month is just around the corner and for those who are still finding the perfect event to go to for a date that's not far, well I've got news for you.

You see that tent right in front of Ayala Malls Vertis North with the huge ABSCBN logo on it? That's the location, now think about the good music and romance you'll get if you have the prince of RnB Kris Lawrence, Pop Diva Ms. Kuh Ledesma, the forever young Gabbi Concepcion and Kuh's daughter Isabella Gonzales, wouldn't that be unbelievable? Exactly, that's why they call this LOVE MATTERS... a concert that will happen at the ABSCBN Vertis North Tent on February 13 at 8PM.

Kris takes this concert as an honor to be able to perform with some of the country's icons in music and showbusiness. Ms. Kuh on the other hand has had the pleasure to stay with Mr. Gabbi Concepcion and their friends a couple of months ago in the US and is excited to perform with the 80's hearthrob on stage. She also is in the works to also do a birthday concert in March and says this may serve as a teaser for what's coming on those dates. She also knows how talented Kris is and she's excited how to mix things with him and daughter Isabella. This will be a fun evening for all four.

The LOVE MATTERS concert is produced by ALV Events International in partnership with ABSCBN Vertis Tent management. This isn't going to be the only thing happening at Ayala Malls Vertis North as they have a lot lined up for 2018. If you want to purchase tickets to the event, you may purchase them through Ticketworld at 899-9999 or the Ayala Malls Concierge area (I saw one in Trinoma earlier 901-5700, UP Town Center 621-3275 and Ayala Malls Vertis North at 718-5000 local 6366.

I'm sure you can't wait to see them on stage in this pre-valentines day offering at the Ayala Malls Vertis North. It'll surely be a fun and romantic night for you and your loved ones!

Billy, JayR and Kris for SOUL BROTHERS

 This September 15, it'll be one epic evening to see three of the finest RnB artists in the country in one show. Filo French Dance artist Billy Crawford, RnB King JayR and RnB Prince Kris Lawrence will treat you with SOUL BROTHERS on this day, at the Kia Theater in Araneta Center, Cubao Quezon City. Now this is good news for the individual fans of these three guys who have been able to achieve a lot in their own respective careers. The show is about celebrating original music,  which have made them who they are these past few years.  It is but an homage to soul, motown and RnB classics that have influenced them to make music for the future of OPM. They will of course perform their hits, and even do numbers with their friends and co-artists Daryl Ong, Sam Concepcion, Jay Durias and Gloc 9. It'll be all male since the concept is of "brothers", so prepare to be swooned!  

JayR says "We've been together for about 20 years, we're neighbors (referring to Kris) but we met during high school. Billy came in when we met in GMA, he made a comeback a few years ago. Our culture, the way we look at things are the same, it's pinoy. Even if we were born in the states, we're legit. We were born in the states but we get refreshed when we go there, we learn other techniques that are not in the Philippines. It drives us to make it here."

JayR adds "Soul Brothers are our own idea, together with Arnold, we started to call this Small brothers a couple of years ago. We want to perform our own hits, the prod numbers would be the highlight. We wohls be taking this on the road, the US, Canada, Guam, places we plan to go to. We want to break that mold of Filipinos only doing covers. Our artists will be part of Original Filipino Music Only movement, which we have been doing in our own label. We will be doing our own songs, published, or new ones so there's a lot more to look forward to. It's obvious Kris is the higher range, I do soul, while Billy does swag and urban hiphop. We have different things to offer in one night. The healthy competition helps us better each time, the more we are in the studio the more we learn from each other and we receive it with love."

About the prank on JayR, Kris says "When we started taping, we had to improvise and I'm not an actor, and it just came and dragged on, but I'm glad it came out alright. He turned pale, he was sweating, it was crazy. Being with my brother and being in Homeworkz, it made he brand stronger. I confide with JayR a lot and he's my mentor. We ultimately want to create good music. My family is my greatest influence, together with Michael Jackson. "

Billy says "I think we are all passionate about music, we have different inputs but we are brothers so this is our dream concert. We've always talked about doing this together, made songs, but never had time to do it for each other. It's a big blessing for the three of us, being on stage, that comforts us. Right now, music is a mix, it doesn't matter what genre as long as it happens. We have many influences when it comes to music."

Now if you're a fan of their music, this would be an opportune time to see them perform live. This would be a nice venue to hear them on one stage and see why they've been so successful, helping each other grow. I envy them, I ain't no got no brotherhood like this in my hood. Often than enough, you'll get called like a wuss. Not a good thing. I want to see how they all show off what make them whole, how they managed to keep tough love, good careers and a solid relationship despite the odds and quirks of the Philippine entertainment industry. Bench Universe: The 2012 Denim and Underwear Show - Part 2

Hello there! It's time for part II of the BENCH UNIVERSE show! Since it's the birthday of Erich Gonzales today, what better way to make her happy but by seeing someone close to her heart! Naks! LOL

Okay, to continue... When the models went backstage, the whole place darkened and only blue lights was used mimicking water. The video in front showed the very first commercial of BENCH featuring Richard Gomez rowing in still waters. It was black and white... and won some awards back then. Then on top of the stage came out this same boat made of panels and lights as you can see below. Someone was rowing, I wonder who that is? =)

See those small things on the side? Those are actually cameras hovering, yeap it was so nice that I wanted one too hehe. The cameras were taking videos of someone, obviously we can see him already. He was almost at the end.

He stood up a little and then jumped off. Oh man it's Enchong Dee! =) See what I mean about a present for Erich? Hehe =)

Slowly he was lowered down from that boat. It was quite high so it took a few minutes.

Girls and gays were shrieking by this time. His body was wet, glistening like it had oil on it. He was sexy in all corners. I know that cable can't hold me like that (buti pa sya haha)!

As you can see, he's sculptured physique was evident. Sorry for the noisy photo though, this was a little far for my cam and Facebook isn't the best image host :)

I know, you are not the only one annoyed at those guys who used their IPAD's to take photos of him. A lot of people in my area were shouting at them haha.

Look at that guy on the mosh pit (nakanganga) hahah... I don't blame him though. Enchong Dee looks very good eh?!

I know my friend Angel would volunteer to wipe him dry LOL

Now how about that for Enchong Dee? Good job man! :) Hope to see you soon, and I hope you still remember me haha =)

Then after Enchong Dee went backstage, these guys started dancing. It was like a Jazz number with Ballet combined. They were flying!

Of course a couple of models passed by. =)

I like the blue green one worn by that guy above. (Pero honestly nahiya ako sa katawan ko haha)

Then these guys came together and went on the center of the stage to cover the door that went up because someone was about to make it a little hotter.

It was Diether Ocampo! =) Clad with a bike that he drove around with on the stage.

He was looking at the models, and their ass of course! LOL

He didn't take the jacket off. I think it was because he took it off yesterday, he wanted something different.

Uhmm I don't know her, can someone tell me who she is?(Update: @MrJimboy on Twitter told me she's Regine Angeles, she won in Be Bench a few years ago, not bad eh?!)

Now, ladies, I heard this became a little tad controversial. This is Kris Lawrence. But if you ask me I think it was genuine.

You can't get closer than that. Enuff said!

Then comes Bella Padilla. I don't know that much about her projects. She's pretty though.

I'm sure a lot of Princess and I fans out there would love to see her on this number. Then I spotted someone from the back of the stage. Check this out!

Okay, I know a LOT of people are waiting for this particular article because of these two. I promised to take photos of them but I know this isn't my best because they didn't really stop that much in the front area. I hope you like it. This is Jason and Melai of #MELASON. Now how's that for part II of this awesome BENCH UNIVERSE show? I'm sure you guys enjoyed seeing them strut the runways even if you are just in your own living room looking at your PC's, tablets, or phones. Actually, this isn't the end of it yet... YES! I'll be coming out with Part III pretty soon!
