Happy Wife, Happy Life Starts Season 3!

Traffic was bad but we were all optimistic as TV5 adds another season to Happy Wife, Happy Life starred by Danica Sotto Pingris, LJ Moreno Alapag and Gelli De Belen Rivera. They started to tell some really comforting words for Ms. Marielle Rodriguez Padilla as she suffered another miscarriage yesterday evening. They know they'll get through this ordeal and added there wouldn't be any trouble that would be brought upon them that they couldn't solve. 

They promise this season to have more food trips, more happy moms on their third season. Gelli said "The difference between them and Janice is that they're very game. They don't complain even of they walk for miles and still talk about their basketball player husbands. Even if I'm not home, I know things at home are good because Ariel is the right person for me, we started that way."

Lj added "Jimmy is very hands on with the kids and it helps that he grew up in the states. He didn't want to hire a maid but I needed one. He takes care of the kids when I couldn't and even goes to the point where he prepares the milk when I don't want to go off the bed. I am so thankful I have a husband like him!"

Danica says "There's only one thing that Marc and I fight over, and that's giving candies to the kids. I couldn't handle the hyper activity that comes after. A little gummy bear entails a lot of things and he's so okay with that and I become the evil woman, but he understands why I do that and he has his reasons."

The thing that bonds them even more this season is marriage and how they've experienced it. When they share small things, that's what keeps them close. They believe men sets the pace and the women maintains and enhances it. So at home, they give that to the man. They were also hypothetically asked if ever they had third parties, none of them would like to be in that situation and said if ever it happened there will really be repercussions. 

This season, they will be traveling to different places and are willing to go out there. They want to also eat in far flung areas so they would be reminded about Filipino roots, living simple, a thing that interests people that watch their show.

Mariel Padilla Is Now In "Happy Wife, Happy Life" 2nd Season

It's a great day to celebrate goodness at home, TV5's show "Happy Wife, Happy Life" is now on their second season. They're not just ushering in new content and flavor to the show, but a new host! It's Mariel Rodriguez - Padilla, she says "I'm so happy to be a part of this program, because I believe in it. Being a happy wife definitely will call for a happy life, no contest in that!"

LJ says "The first time we met, we already got very comfortable with each other. Seeing and feeling how the Mariel Robin romance up close is surreal. It's a small world, we're here to spread smiles with other certified happy wives!". Danica says "It's so easy to keep our husbands happy, just make sure they're well fed and they're going to be okay!"

You guys must be wondering where the two other hosts went but since the controversy, TV5 had to implement rules and be strict about it. They were surprisingly very matured and handled it well. They were also supportive when they knew it was Mariel that was going to be added after they left. They're still in communication with them and they know how important it is to be responsible because they're in the show to be good examples, as wives of equally good and exemplary husbands.

"It came in very timely, God wants me to move on and this show is helping me a lot. Robin even says he's so happy about what I'm doing and I'm really very greatful! We can't start making a Padilla yet because I have to rest a month or so, but I'm still very optimistic. I hope I get to share and inspire them with my experiences. You'll see that in Season 2!" Mariel adds.

They will also feature single parents, second marriages, and a lot more. They will have their own point of views, they are different women and they know how to do that. They have their homes and they'll show that every day. They all agree to have their lives God centered, to accept flaws and not change just because they have to. Mariel also said she's excited to be how she's become a wife, eager to be in the show together with LJ and Danica.

Danica also adds "I know now how to become more adventurous, to be out of the box. I need to go out and do other things aside from the ones that I'm used to. We will be with you in a journey, we learned a lot from the audience and acknowledge this. We'll listen and hope you get to see it in the show."

TV5 Features Basketball Wives on "Happy Wife, Happy Life!"

The hosts of Happy Wife, Happy Life!

I think this show's title came from the CEO of TV5 himself. He chuckled a little when he heard it announced on the event that evening. Whoever so not agrees on this statement, will perish of course not have a happy home. Four ladies, who's life has been intertwined by one common denominator, their husbands. Yes, their partners are all professional basketball players. Their successful relationships and families won't survive without the resourcefulness and dedication of these women, who are ultimately just like you at home. They're going to show you the ropes on how to survive, how to make your time useful while you're there. Give you practical home ideas, especially for first time Moms who's probably going through the same phase as they are. When you see the show, they hope you get to connect, because as much as they would like to be different, they are ultimately the same as you.

When we talked to Jeck and Rr, they said that they are so blessed that the project was given to them after Amazing Race. They didn't expect it so they were very thankful. They almost didn't accept it because they thought it was going to be a reality show again. We know how that went in Amazing Race where they had a huge fight. They now see that it's different, they see how nice it is. Being with Danica and LJ was also special because they're all Christians. It's clear that it fits Rr because she's single but someday she wants to be like them, married and all. It was the first time when they had to fight during Amazing Race and that wasn't something RR wanted. They realized they couldn't control anything, it was something more of a lesson and she accepts that they're both a work in progress.

They don't want to have that in a show of course. It's also the way they edited it in the show, and how people would perceive it. Rr also thinned a bit, she said she had to lose weight because she has a skin care clinic on the side. The stress and all during Amazing Race actually made it worse she says because sometimes they didn't eat just to get ahead of the others. Actually, their friends know that they are going to butt heads even if they were still not in the race. They expected it but says still, it was fun. The show for them will be segmented. Danica will cook, LJ will give advise on first time moms, Jeck will give business or entrepreneurial advise while Rr will concentrate on beauty. That's what they should watch out in this morning show slated 10:30AM everyday. It's like a magazine show on TV and in the pilot episodes, you'll see our families and have a grand time seeing our lives even before the actual show.  

Now that they're all together, you'll see how they will all gel together in this show, their lives on and off the court.
