Monday, February 20, 2023

Looks like David Licauco is on a roll as Blue Water Day Spa just announced him as the new endorser together with Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez.

The Kapuso star definitely takes care of his body, which includes massages, face and body treatments especially since he's very busy with the success of his recent show "Maria Clara at Ibarra" which has catapulted him into prime leading man status and opened a lot of doors for him including a movie with Shaira Diaz called "Without You" which is still showing in cinemas as of this writing. Blue Water Day Spa does different services now aside from the usual things they do like IPL, Diamond Peel, Oxygen Infusion Therapy, Hi-Fu V-Lift, Revitafirm and other frequency treatments, massages and hand and foot reflexology.

Ms. Nancy Go says "We are dedicated to our clientele. We started our services with massages and have grown since then. We will be expanding to more places soon. We go with what customers want and ask them what they want. Today is a special day for us as our new endorsers join our brand today."

They also introduced Miss World Philippines 2022 Gwendolyne Fourniol, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas Ingrid Sta. Maria, Ms. Eco Philippines Ashley Subijano-Montenegro, Miss Supranational Philippines 2022 Alison Black, Miss Eco Teen First Princess Francesca McLelland who just recently won the crown in Marsa Alam in Egypt as part of the official endorsers for Blue Water Day Spa. They were all welcomed by Bluewater Day Spa President Mary Simisim and Ms. Nancy Go at the event.

BlueWater Day Spa is located in the Banawe district of Quezon City, Eton Square in Ortigas Pasig, there's also one in Greenhills in the city of San Juan plus the newest one at Estancia Mall in Capitol Commons. They also plant to open a new one at The Infinity Tower in BGC to service those who are from that area.

Feel Ultra Luxurious at Sofitel Manila's Le Spa

Friday, September 27, 2013

To continue my epic Sofitel Manila stay, I decided to put the piece de resistance of my stay in a separate article, because I feel it truly deserves it. I'm sure you'll love this in so many ways. Just the mention of Le Spa probably tipped you off, so let's go with that first.

Now most of my closest friends know that I NEVER go to spas, nor do I actually do massages because I feel violated LOL. Funny as that may seem, I really am not comfortable with it other than my Dad massaging me when I don't feel well. Le Spa had me really going because just as I arrive at their facility inside Sofitel Manila, the mood was calm, collected and inviting. It was like I was in a Zen garden without the fancy shmancy rocks and sand. It had a more French vibe to it, yet presents a more Filipino approach to massage. I'm no expert in the massage department but I know they've got pretty good taste. Let's take a look at their facility shall we?

Upon arrival, they let us choose our treatment and the corresponding massages that would go well with that. They have a list of things that could better understand your current state, and some information that would help them understand how to make this experience in Le Spa memorable for you. They check on your health and see how you declare how well you've been before this massage happens.

Le Spa also caters to your senses as they let you choose what particular song would appeal to you. They've got a wide array of music and it's all good. I chose the New Age tunes which my Mom had no clue about. She's also with me during this stay by the way because I felt she deserved to get away from our stressful house every once in a while. Ha!

Le Spa has this gorgeous place to wait on. Their taste in interiors say a lot about them. Soft comfy lounging + zen fountains + soft lights, it was really good to set the mood. I liked the time we arrived there too because there wasn't too many people. You should definitely have this on your stay. They also had us drinking something special.

Served us Ginger Tea. It wasn't too strong, but it was hot. You get a sting in the throat because it's a little spicy. I think that's where it's effect comes into play. Singers would dig this, and so did I.. I bet I'd give those crooners on TV a real tough competitor haha!

Then we proceeded to our room.

We were asked to put on robes and towels then just ring the zen bells so the masseurs would come in. They were all skilled, I did ask for a hard massage. I walk around almost all day so when they were massaging my calves, I almost screamed/swore about how good it was. Arghhh.. they found my weak spot LOL. I felt it was the best thing to do on that part of the body at that right time. Above all else, it was really relaxing and I'd really want to go back and enjoy it for a few hours (but I knew the tub was inviting!) so I had to do that later on as well.

They also did the facial service I missed during the launch of THÉMAÉ, and boy that had me so freshened up I almost had myself for salad =D.

The tea ingredients felt and smelled right for my face. I really felt a difference right afterwards. My pores were smaller, I felt cleaner, and it was smoother than the last time I checked my skin that day. So this is how it feels on my skin, I'd really want another round of that treatment soon. THÉMAÉ just did its job, and it was awesome! The tub was also in the room!

You can probably rinse out after your massage, or settle for a hot bubbly bath right after.

Here are their other services/signature massages over at Le Spa

Original Beauty Facial by Themae (1 hour 30 minutes)
Hilot Secret (1 hour 30 minutes)
WORLD'S BEST: After Shopping Massage (1 hour)
Hotstone Rolling (1 hour 30 minutes)
Marrakech Sweetness (1 hour)
Slimming Ceremony (1 hour 30 minutes)
Siam Energy (1 hour)

Sofitel Le Spa was really one thing that I should have done the last time I went to Sofitel Manila, I'm glad I was able to do it now. It's the first time I was able to get a massage from strangers, but their people let me feel I was at home. They made me feel like royalty. I had reservations in the beginning but now, I'd wish to do this everyday. It can be addicting, the good kind of addiction that is. It's one way of truly rewarding yourself after years of working hard for the money. I must say, it's worth every penny!

To book one of their Rooms, Signature Massages or THÉMAÉ Facials please do go to http://www.sofitelmanila.com, they've got everything there! Check out why they've been hailed as one the world’s 50 best spas by Luxury Travel and Style Mag, plus take a shot of the Jardin D’Eden room which is highly recommended if you want a more high end-intimate experience!

A Magnifique Stay at Sofitel Manila!

Monday, September 16, 2013

I guess it's time to tell you about my short but sweet stay at magnifique Sofitel Manila. It's my second home and I always feel so good when I'm there. It's like I know why but it's still a mystery to me if it's the people, the place, Spiral, Le Spa, Club Millesime or the rooms that make the few days I spend there worthwhile. So together with my Mom we ventured out to the south and got ourselves ready for a relaxing day or two with this gorgeous spot along historical Manila bay. This is Sofitel Manila.

When we arrived, to tell you honestly.. I was wondering why there were so many of their people warmly welcoming us in the lobby. Heck, they even took photos of us while checking in. They explained to me that they do this once a day to very special people. Yeap, I was Guest of the Day! That means I got a free room upgrade plus the special treats that come with that. We even had our own butler during our stay, imagine that! We've never had one at home so it was something foreign. I had the pleasure of being called by name so many times by the staff just with that fact. What a wonderful way to start our stay!

They personally helped us to our room and explained the rest of our perks. It got me so excited because I'll be experiencing Club Millesime in a bit. We got settled first and I almost didn't want to leave the room. Why? Take a look at this!

That's a comfy, soft and dreamy bed. A lounge area so you could just sit around, have a bottle of red, fruits and liver pate. An office table that's got all the connections so I can still do some work while on vacay. A large LED TV for my viewing pleasure. A grand display of goodies in our own Mini Bar plus the sweetest thing I found on the corner table.

A letter from Sofitel Manila's own GM Mr. Adam Laker. They really did go over and beyond what I expected of a Five Star Hotel! Then after all that, I looked outside the balcony and got this as another surprise!

Mom wants to even go down and take a dip. It's an oasis.. and she says it would probably be nice to have quiet time there. Maybe read a book or two. Or in my case yes, get drunk LOL.

The bathroom had all the toiletries and more. The branded Lanvin shampoo and conditioner gave me chills! These are the times you would love to take a shower. Truth be told, I haven't had one because I got off from work and went straight here! Hehe :)

I guess this is starting to be a great stay at Sofitel Manila. Room's just perfect for Mom and I. We were hungry but I think you should just watch out for part II of my Sofitel stay. I'll tell you something about Club Millesime. It's Sofitel Manila's very own club lounge. This experience was so good I couldn't tell you our stay in one blow. If you fancy what you're seeing here, please reserve a room or two through http://www.sofitelmanila.com. It's easy and fast, they'll take care of you for sure! Plus they've got special offers every month that you should definitely take advantage. If you haven't seen my post for French Wine Week, it's not too late (you can just click it!)! Heck they've even got OKTOBERFEST lined up! :) Cheers Sofitel Manila, thank you for this wonderful treat! Just wait till you see my stories of Le Spa, Spiral and Club Millesime soon!
