American Idol Season 12 Starts on Star World Philippines!

Starworld Philippines just made my evening extra special when they held a viewing party at posh URBN at the Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City a few days ago. I had so much fun with media and celebrity friends as we all watched Season 12 of American Idol. Yes! You heard that right, they just started!

This season's esteemed judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson. American Idol is still hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

Oh Santa It's Nicki Minaj!

It looks like I'm on my way to search for Nicki Minaj. I kinda like her songs, particularly this one even if it is a revival of some sort. There are not that many female rappers in the US these days so this is somehow a breath of fresh air. Not to compare her with Lady Gaga because that is another issue. The weird costumes, catchy tunes and weird vocals are giveaways but then again she is doing it in her own way. I wonder if she credits the other as inspiration.





Mariah is back with another hit called Oh Santa! and it has been topping the charts since the first week of December 2010. I wonder what will happen to this new Christmas Album, will it be timeless as the other older ones or will this just be a fad on holidays? I wonder...

American Music Awards 2008

I was at AWE when I watched the American Music Awards... the performances were spectacular! I had a great time watching Rihanna, Annie Lennox, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and Beyonce. Beyonce obviously stole the show as she did a spectacular number...

Award winners were all voted by fans in the Magz mentioned there. A lot who won were really expected. Kanye West by the way said that he wanna be like Elvis.... that was controversial I guess.

Here are some of the highlights... but I'll put in Beyonce last since that is the best one okay?! ^_^

Annie Lennox was great! Very Dramatic! I love brit/UK songs... and all her songs! But she didn't have a video off youtube so I'm gonna put in Christina Aguilera here ok?! ^_^
