The Outstanding PROMATE Quantum 20, Retro 2 and LinkMate Cable

Covering events all day for my blog means charging a few phones so I could get content, take photos, interview celebrities, personalities and record audio and write updates all day. Having a power bank and related accessories is not just a need, but is essential to what I've been doing in the last few years. One of my power banks went kaput a few months ago and bringing only one just doesn't cut it. It's hard to lose power during my evening events and I lived in constant fear of not getting an Uber ride home because of it. I needed a bigger, dependable power bank to replace the one gone and felt I needed to get a dependable one as soon as possible.

At 20,000 mAh, it would mean I would only need to charge the thing less times which is super convenient. I only leave the thing to charge a few minutes (I do it overnight) and I could use it for a few days rather than charging it every day which was a thing I did with other brands before this. Mind you I am a heavy data user, so my phones usually last half a day because I constantly upload files even when I'm in transit from one event to the other. The convenience I am experiencing now with the PROMATE Quantum 20 was the perfect power bank for my arsenal.

The PROMATE Quantum 20 is 20,000 mAh, has over charging protection so you don't have to worry about your gadgets, quite portable for it's capacity, available in 4 colors and can charge in two usb ports at the same time at ultra fast charging speeds.

The PROMATE Retro 2 on the other hand are good quality earphones. It's the type that gets you to hear the actual real sound better and doesn't delve much into the base which is good for me, keeps me up when working out. What does make me feel good about this is that it's tangle free, you can wrap it around your wrist when your running and make it as an accessory. Totally good for runners, going to the gym and just about any activity imaginable. It snaps together with a magnet so you don't have to worry if you have to do stuff, it latches on fine.

This is the PROMATE LinkMate Cable is a 2 in 1 Heavy Duty Fabric Sync and Charge Cable for iOS and Android Devices. I thought initially it was just a lightning cable but it turns out you can insert the same cable for Android devices as it should. Now I can carry one cable for all my phones so I can use the other while the other one is charging. Mind you these things are not expensive, totally nice to see how they've made third party accessories this great, I'd even prefer this than the original because it makes life simpler, and a lot of other people appreciate that. It’s tougher too!

MOPHIE Battery Cases and Powerbanks

We said hi to the best selling battery case brand in the market called MOPHIE. A brand that has been in California and North America since 2005. They also have Juice Packs for Samsung phones, particularly the S7 which people have raved about. They have wireless charging available too, since businesses and individuals have set up infrastructure or devices for it, they're getting accessories made just for it. It charges on contact, they have different mounts too. Most of these will be available in Digital Walker and Beyond the Box stores and only range from Php 1,950 to Php 6,950. Take note though, these products does not charge phones but almost every device that have USB charging as a function. By the way, they will have USB C charging technology next week which is a good thing. It's coming people! We visited the newest shop and showroom of Airborne Technologies placed right beside the MyVape store at L23 & 24 of Greenhills Theater Mall in San Juan. They are sister companies - and since the place is also littered with gadget shops, they got Airborne Tech products inside the store. I must say, I'm one of the few guys who get irritated when my smartphone or laptop runs out of juice - and a place to get power banks that can cater to all my gadgets in one place would be something I'd really appreciate. Their company is already distributing power banks internationally, but what I'm proud to also note is that they are fully owned by Filipinos; and their operations are based in the Philippines. It's more impressive because it only costs Php 3,231.00 in the AT store. One more reason to come and visit right?

For those who just need small ones, they've got the Minibank Powerbank at 2,600 mAh capacity. It's made of Lithium Polymer and has got a 1 Year warranty. You'll feel it last longer than usual powerbanks with the same capacity because of the cells they use for these units. It's also easy to carry because of it's small form factor. Put in in your pocket, or bag, it'll be the best thing to have when you run out of batteries for your phones. At least it'll last you until you get home.

Stone Powerbank

At 11,200 mAh this one called Stone Powerbank is something that can last you the whole day. It also uses Samsung Lithium Ion Cells and has got a pretty tough exterior. For those who doesn't want their power bank units to slip or slide off their hands, this is the perfect choice. This and one year warranty, isn't that a great deal?

The one on the left is the Booster Powerbank. It's got 14,000 mAh, same Samsung Lithium Ion Cells and available in Red, Silver, Gold and Gun Metal colors. The red and silver one in the middle is the Revive Powerbank. It's got 10,000 mAh and a Lithium Polymer body. The one on the right is the Cube Powerbank. It's got 8,400 mAh and the Samsung cells too. It's got a display in front telling you the percentage of the batter which was quite neat. It doesn't eat up power because they use LED's for that. Pretty cool because all these are covered with a 1 year warranty.

Speaking of cool, this is their Tough Rock Powerbank. It's their shockproof, waterproof powerbank and they proved worthy to be the official powerbank used by the Philippine Wakeboard Team as they battle other countries in Thailand! Now that's world class! It is 10,000 mAh with Samsung Lithium Ion Cells and has got a 1 year warranty. Then there's more!

They also have smart USB adapters. It's available in single and dual ports so if you've got more than one to use, this is the best thing to have than those expensive ones in stores. All their powerbanks by the way are also smart because they automatically stop charging once it gets to 100%. That would make you love it even more because you won't get your house burned down and least chance of overcharging your gadgets right?

This one was my favorite! This is the BOOM BOX Speaker by Airborne Technologies. You just place your phone on top of the thing and it freaking catches the music on it! No wires! No Bluetooth connection or what not. It was like magic! The unit can also be hardwired to your phone or music devices and play it directly with better sound. I loved it when they used an iPhone 5C and played it on top of the speaker, the track comes out when you put it on top and stops when you lift it off! Amazing!
