The Greatest Showman

Our friends from BLUE ANT formerly known as RTL CBS Network hosted a screening of The Greatest Showman last night and boy it was good. It's the story of PT Barnum and how he put up his CIRCUS. Well yes, it's a tale on how the Barnum and Bailey Circus roadshow started but there were so many things that were in this movie that made me want to suddenly burst into a song and perform with them. 

The music alone would make this all worthwhile, but let me tell you, this isn't just a Hugh Jackman piece because you'll get a touch of Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Kealla Settle (The Bearded Lady), Zendaya Coleman as they all take their pipes into another level just so you could hear something so good, you would want to see it again. Nevermind the critics, or the earlier naysayers because this movie is worth every cent. I've read the man's bio and it looked very close to his real lifestory but won't delve too much on the political side, but mostly love, relationships, work and family.  

If you want to see similar shows that astound and entertain, you may opt to watch the Blue Ant channel on cable like what I do with Skycable. They've got America's Got Talent, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and just about every nice hit show in the US on that channel.

Fresh Blogs Fast!

House of Cards Marathon Today on RTL CBS!

I was one of the few who got to see the RTL CBS show House of Cards last Tuesday in Century City Mall in Makati. They will be airing all the 13 episodes of the fourth season. I've been seeing the teasers these past few weeks and Kevin Spacey still looks like an @ss. Anyway, it will be shown here starting with a marathon starting March 5 which is the same day of it's release in the US at 4PM Manila time. Then they'll have an encore the next day starting at 8AM. 

You'll still see the ruthless President Francis Underwood, his wife Claire as they battle with politicians, terrorists and the people around them in this season. RTL CBS will be showing them 12 hours from it's release in the US so if you have cable, you're one of the few people to see this on the same day. If you don't have it on your subscription, then you might want to ask it from your cable operator. 

You will also see weekly chaptersodics starting March 8, that's Tuesdays at 9:55PM express from the US first and exclusive from RTL CBS Entertainment.

Halle Berry Stars in EXTANT Season 2 on RTL CBS Entertainment

It was a little scary in the theater when I came in as most of the people were already glued to the screen seeing Halle Berry and the actors of Extant that afternoon. They started showing the part where she was already figuring out that some of the women who were being kidnapped had one thing in common, they were all pregnant. Now I don't want to spoil the story but in a nutshell, the Earth she's in is slowly being taken over by aliens. Aside from that, they weren't the type that showed they were monsters with weird humongous powers inside. They were like ordinary people walking among the populace and there wasn't any hint that it's going to stop at all. 

It wasn't going to be easy either because people think Halle Berry's character Molly Woods was crazy, and she was even getting sexually exploited by people in the hospital. If there wasn't any consolation, she escaped and got that same guy electrocuted at first, then she got his car's windshield smashed when federal agents (including JD Richter who's going to be with her) got her from the institution. You can say everything revolves around her, very pivotal, and with the understanding that we could get taken over by an alien life form that's also able to procreate with humans. If you haven't seen this yet, maybe the name Steven Spielberg would ring a bell and may well be worth your time to watch on RTL CBS Entertainment which is available on cable networks in the Philippines. If your cable operator isn't giving you the channel, you might as well request for it.
