NET 25 Gets New Shows: David Chua on "GOOD WILL"

Saturday, January 21, 2023

A new year beckons a new show over at the "Let's Get Together, Let's NET Together" Network NET 25. Aside from the new offered news, current affairs and lifestyle programs, a new sitcom called "GOOD WILL" will be premiered on January 22, 2023 at 4PM. This will be right before the much awaited Korina Sanchez-Roxas show "Korina Interviews" and will be part of the network's weekend primetime block offerings.

David by the way has already appeared on several shows in the Kapamilya, Kapuso, and Kapatid networks so he's no stranger to these shows. It's also his first foray as the lead of the show, and he's done remarkable work in Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune and ABS-CBN's Love Thy Woman.

David Chua will play the character of Lloyd Patawad, born with a silverspoon, this spoiled bad boy (who also had a colorful share of relationships) wants to try his best to reach his own rockstar dreams. This takes a 360 degree turn when his Mom passed, then can only get his family fortune if he gets to do a few challenges set on the will. This sends him to realize a few things (including managing the Good Will resort), and make his life a whole lot better.

Cast includes Devon Seron who plays Sarah (his love interest in the show), Smokey Manaloto,
Kat Galang, Ryan Rems, James Caraan (an ensemble of great comedians), Ms. Marina Benipayo, and a lot of other artists who will be integral in running the resort.

This is produced by ALV Productions, Viktory 8Media and Dark Carnival Productions and will be directed by Ian Lorenos who also did Mano po Legacy: The Flower Sisters. This is also written by Joma Labayen, Don Santella, Kiko Abrillo, Aica Ganhinhin and Motec Migallen. It's also collaborative so the story concept and creative production are done by the team. Expect this to be funny, romantic and hugely good vibes. Again, this will be shown before Korina Interviews, you can always stay to watch the next one on NET 25.

Make sure you put this on your must watch list!

Hell Come Home Premiere Night

Tuesday, October 29, 2019

Star Cinema is putting its chips on a horror movie this Halloween season. This movie is called Hell Come Home and talks about different things like haunted places, possession, cults and family. We saw the cast, their celebrity friends who all came out and supported them during the premiere night.

What's good is that Dennis Trillo,  Alyssa Mulach, Raymond Bagatsing and Beauty Gonzales are doing this film. A good thing for people who want a different combination on screen. This is also R13, probably for violence and some scenes that are for mature audiences (some foul mouths and gory stuff in between). Although it is not the gory type, you're going to see and feel lots of of shocking moments, run and chass scenes in the movie. I guess that part is fulfilling. It is a nice story intertwined by relationships in the past, how they bring forth keeping their home away from the crazy, the haunted, and ghosts made of their own fantasies.

If you wanna watch something scary, this might fit the bill. It shows tomorrow in theaters nationwide!

Sunshine, Raymond and Enzo in MALAMAYA

Tuesday, July 16, 2019

I too was a little dumbfounded about the word MALAMAYA. I didn’t know it wast the tagalog term for the color Ash, all along I thought it was just “abo” but that’s just me lol. Anyway, we sat down with the cast and people behind the movie Malamaya earlier at Annabels Restaurant in Morato so we could get some gist about this Cinemalaya entry.

The film stars Sunshine Cruz, Enzo Pineda, Raymond Bagatsing, Bernadette Allyson and Ms. Gloria Sevilla. This is directed by two women Danica Sta. Lucia and Leilani Chavez. It’s about the gray areas of a relationship, talks about commitment, artistry, dominance, and just about all those small things conservative people don’t want to talk about. A tough stance yeah, but Sunshine trusts the directors much she gave them lee way to do things and execute this, including love scenes which she tells she knows she’s being taken cared of.

Raymond Bagatsing accepted this role as it is different, a potter which he likens to Patrick Swayze and he’s excited about the treatment. He says ”He is my inspiration, and I can’t wait for people to see how much time we’ve painstakingly given its treatment, you’ll see that all here.“

This film is produced by Spears Films, ALV Films and Cine Likha. Malamaya is an entry for the 15th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival slated August 2 to 13 in CCP Theater and selected movie houses nationwide. They will also have a theatrical run on August 14 so watch out for that!
