The Cast of GMA's "Hahamakin Ang Lahat" Facebook Live Sessions

GMA is starting a new afternoon header called "Hahamakin ang Lahat" (means renouncing everything just to please you) starring Kristoffer Martin (who's hunkier now), Joyce Ching (yes they're exe's in good terms), Thea Tolentino (premier villain), Renz Valerio (who promises to do mature things in this soap), and newcomer Bruno Gabriel (a very tall guy with good looks) and a couple more people to complete the cast. 

Now I wasn't prepared to actually see what was going to happen to the Facebook Live Q&A because honestly this is my first time to see them in this setup. I was expecting it to be a little more on the interactive side and I think they even gave more than that. The greeting alone was shocking because they said "Hi and Hello" like it's the 4th of July. 

This is my first time to see Bruno Gabriel and if my hunch is right, he probably is a ramp model. His built, very muscular body, would probably pass off as very athletic. He plays football, tennis, and just learned that he's the son of former actress Lani Lobangco. Albeit a bit quiet during the event, he comes off very eloquent when he talks, he got teased about that because it looked like he prepared a lot about what he was going to say in that live stream. I think the show had a different working title previously but he says he's excited to be part of this show. He's not nervous anymore because he got a lot of help from his co-actors. I think they're probably trying to pair him with Thea Tolentino in the show, but we have yet to find out how that would turn out.

She's lovely, a bit thinner than the last time I saw her and she's raring to challenge the KrisJoy pairing on this show. She's one of GMA's believable anti heroes, and she's done a remarkable job in her past shows. Now that she's in "Hahamakin Ang Lahat!" she plans to attack the character differently as she's not directly going to be evil. I got the sense that you might be rooting for her as well as she tries to be in the way of KrisJoy in this soap. We will find out on their premier this afternoon. I still owe her a Strawberry Shortcake because when I went to Trinoma that morning Papermoon didn't have one yet on the shelves and said to go back at 4pm, long story! But I'm so glad she's still here, remember the long running Half Sisters? Ah, you should expect more!

Joyce is very versatile. She could play possum one day and a monster the next. She's very bubbly, and Kristoffer and her rapport is just contagious! They're like an automatic tag team when playing around, they even finish each other's sentences. It would be easy to find them sweet on this show because I think they are in real life. If I didn't know Kristoffer's gf I would've believed they're still together. I'm sure you'll get along with how she'll portray her role this time as the romance evolved between her character and Kris'.

Kristoffer bulked up a bit, probably stemmed from working out a lot these past few months. He's a dynamite ready to explode when you put him in a group. He was drawing punchlines left and right, hugot's even. But this show will probably showcase his knack for drama, he's always been good in that department and this show would probably prove to be another challenge to see if KrisJoy still have what it takes to be a love team. I'm a fan of these two!

Taller, feistier, Renz Valerio was also trying to fool around with the cast that afternoon. He's not that shy anymore and he exudes good manners even if he's trying to be naughty. He's a really good example for teens now trying to phase in the more mature roles like in this soap. They were joking about him drinking and stuff, you should have been there live. His adoring fans can't wait to see him, they were the most vocal that afternoon and he's pretty thankful for that.  Watch his character become involved with the lovers, the other people in the show because he's someone to watch out for.

Miguel Tanfelix's Touching Birthday with Special Kids

Yesterday, we went all the way to Dasmariñas Cavite to visit a publicly funded Dr. Jose P. Rizal Elementary School. It's right off the beaten path of Cavite which is very near Technological University of the Philippines in Dasmariñas. The school offers the regular Elementary curriculum and Special Education courses designed for kids that are differently abled or with special needs. We're here to celebrate the birthday of one of GMA's prized possessions and star of Niño, actor Miguel Tanfelix. His show battled with a real tough one over at the other channel but his show really held up mainly because the story was new and who wouldn't love an adorably guy playing it right? He chose to celebrate it with special people because just like his show, the cause somehow is really close with him. Other than that, it's worth the trip to his hometown because he lives quite near the school. It's his birthday but he wants to be the one to give gifts to the kids. Isn't that sweet?

The kids, their teachers, some with their parents and family patiently waited for the program to start. This is one of the few public schools that have special education facilities. It's not often that it happens and they're more lucky because even if it's not in Metro Manila, they have this.

The kids had so much fun going up on stage and playing some games with Miguel Tanfelix. His best friend who is also part of the show Renz Valerio came along to show his support. We talked to him after the show and he told us how important it is for him to be here. He's not just a friend while on cam but he makes it a point to be there for Miguel more if he's doing things like these off cam. He knows how kind hearted his friend is and he wants to be there in important occasions.

GMA's Niño Cast Excited On TV Series

We talked to the cast of Niño a couple of weeks ago and catched them again last week. Pretty and smart, Bianca Umali says she can't wait for the show to start this last week of May as the Carmela show of Ms. Marian Rivera got extended for a month. I think they were supposed to have been shown last April 28th but decisions to extend the latter was induced. They were all good vibes about it because they have more time to prepare for this big show that GMA trusted them with. GMA's Carmela has got high ratings and they are prepared to either match that or wish to even outdo it but they know they have a pretty tall order.

Bianca says their story is a little different and hope that the community of Catholics would give special attention to it. She will be portraying the role of Angelica Guevarra who's going to be Miguel Tanfelix's best friend on the series and she'll try her best to make his life easy since he's a special kid. More often than not, people would not understand his situation and Bianca's role would provide the necessary care and love that Miguel needs. She will also perhaps delve on a small love story in the series but it'll be more exciting as Renz Valerio will provide the anti climax and ruin some of their moments. You'll have to watch out for that.

Renz Valerio plays as Raphael Toledo, Niño's brother in the series. He's not that fond of Miguel Tanfelix's personality and gives much grudge and jealousy in the series that he'll probably be a little evil in some scenes. He doesn't understand the special needs his brother presents so it'll be a conflict between him and Niño that you'll have to watch out for. During the small chat, he's very endearing. He's got that quality that you won't tire of when you talk to him. He's like sunshine on a gloomy day. He is a bit nervous though to play someone anti hero because he's never done it before. He always played the goody two shoes kind of character but he thinks he can do it. He doesn't have some other actors to actually pattern this role from but when I asked that the last time he says he'll try to have one. Good chap turning bad, can he do it? I'm sure he'll do a good job.

Time really flies no? This guy right here was the kid I watched in Anna Karenina. He is Julian Marcus Trono. He's grown pretty smart and very articulate. Girls would find him very endearing. He's playing as an antagonist this time and will make Niño's life a little hard. He's not part of the family and as an outsider that would pretty much present a better view on how society will treat a person such as Niño but don't worry because there's always a little Niño that will also help him if he needs it. The little Niño played by David Remo will be like Miguel Tanfelix's own personal guardian angel, so you need to watch how Mat will make their lives a little harder.

Niño is played by Miguel Tanfelix. You've probably seen him in other shows from GMA in the past but he's not much of a kid anymore. Promising and has got leadingman material, he's bound to be another hunk/Dingdong Dantes in the making. He's very humble too which I think would make him go places. He's also blessed in the looks department which ladies pretty much dig. This role is very difficult but he was able to study it quite extensively and applied it on some workshops he's done in the Artist Center stable. They've got a big task ahead of them because as they are playing roles that is going to be affiliated with Sto. Niño and the faithful will probably scrutinize how the story goes. Believing in the goodness of people and their community, they strive to set an example and hope Filipinos will adore Niño as much as they are excited to see it.
