Kimpoy Sparks Romance with Three Subway B.M.T Sandwiches

Wednesday, January 18, 2023

Looks like Vlogger Kimpoy Feliciano has his hands full choosing between three B, M and T, played by Natazha Bautista, Breena Ylaya and Queen Semana in a digital ad for popular brand Subway released today. The ladies have their own personas, where one is adventurous, one is a health freak, and also one is practical, so choosing among them alone will be a huge task much like his obsession with three B.M.T sandwiches which he loves from Subway.

He says "Every time I go to Subway, I see a sandwich fit for any occasion, it's quite hard to pick one because I've got a lot of favorites. There's certainly one Subway B.M.T. Sandwich for you!"

Whether you love the B.M.T. Classic, the Double Cheese or the Egg Mayo B.M.T. Plus variant, you get your fill of freshness without going over budget.

As Mr. Joshua Wahiman, the Marketing Manager of Subway Philippines puts it "Love is such a relatable topic especially for Filipinos much like the sandwich options you can get at every Subway branch. Kimpoy has definitely put our message across, we love how he did it on our digital ad."

Kimpoy's Full Confession 💚

Because with Subway®, YOU can have the BIGGEST, MEATIEST, and TASTIEST choices 🥪 of Classic B.M.T.™, B.M.T.™ Plus, and B.M.T.™ Double Cheese. Truly #WorthEat!

The men and women behind it include famed Director Chris Cahilig, Director of Photography Noel Teehankee, Food Stylist Kia del Rosario, Line Producer Jel Plans, and post production Offline Editor Yvette Mijares, Online Editor Kenneth Amparo, Sound Design by Kat Salinas, Color by Sia Magsaysay, and Musical Score by Paulo Almacen. The brand hopes Kimpoy's fans would love the ad as much as they did and bring the same excitement in a nearby Subway branch so they too could love their favorite sandwich today. They give you choices!

That JOLLIBEE Chick'nwich Is Good

Thursday, November 25, 2021

Everybody's talking about it so here we go trying it out today. It's Jollibee's crunchy, juicy, and flavorful Chickn'wich. First of all, the name convention is good so they wouldn't be like the run of the mill chicken sandwich.

The Chick'nwich is basically a huge chicken fillet sandwich that's been breaded, fried to perfection so you get to have a crunchy exterior and juicy meat inside. The meat actually reminded me of the actual Chickenjoy so they probably have processed that the same. The crunchy breading was different though because they probably needed to have that stay crunchy for a longer time.

The dressing was also different, not the same goop that they use for other burgers. Aside from that, the bun is also on a different level. It's softer, shiny on top, thin to just give you enough bread for the thick chicken cut they got you on the sandwich. I think it's brioche and fits the thing perfectly. It's not spicy so I'd be glad to see a version of it soon. I bet they'll be making a different Chick'nwich too because the box for it has "Others" on another check mark. For me, that's good news.

If you're hearing different opinions or reviews about the Jollibee Chick'nwich, it might be a good time to not listen to their stories. Do yourself a favor and get one yourself. I'm pretty satisfied with what I ate for that amount of money. Yes you could say there are better ones out there but are they priced like Jollibee? I don't think so.

Go give yourself a break and get one on selected Jollibee stores in Metro Manila. I think they're rolling it out in other places soon!

Authentic Japanese Sandwiches at 7-Eleven

Sunday, November 07, 2021

I thought I've seen it all, but no. See, looks like 7-Eleven stores are now offering Japanese Sandwiches with their 7-Fresh Fuwa Fuwa line and I'm excited to visit the store near my place. They say it's authentic.

This is now available in Luzon branches (understandable because they wanna serve it fresh). Take for starters the Tamago Sando that costs Php 65, it's very popular in Japan conbini stores (convenience stores) and I've seen people get obsessed about it. This in the shelf? I'm pretty sure it'll be out of stock soon. This one in the country use Fuwa Fuwa brand of Japanese milk-egg bread slices that makes sure every piece is fresh, high in protein and selenium, with 0% trans fat so you won't be getting fat with that.

They also have the Chicken Katsu Sando (Japanese style Chicken Cutlet sandwich) which can be good for snack or lunch, then paired with 7-Eleven's City Cafe Coffee. It's only Php 75. These authentic Japanese Sandwiches are made by 7-Eleven and partner Nippon Premium Bakery Inc. (makers of Fuwa Fuwa) and it'll be available in select 7-Eleven stores today! If you want to know more, go to 7-eleven.com.ph/whats-new today!
