I was a bit late but savored one of the most awaited performances that evening as ACER Philippines and The SM Store launched their holiday promo. Now this is crazy because aside from letting us hear the heavenly voice of Morisette Amon, live at the SM Megmall Fashion Hall, they gave us the best news that any ACER consumer would want to actually hear.
In a nutshell, when you purchase participating models of laptop computers from ACER, you’ll get exclusive promotional vouchers which you can use at any THE SM STORE branches. For the CORE i3 laptops and desktops, you get Php 1,000 gift vouchers. For CORE i5 ones, you get Php 3,000 while those who get CORE i7, you get Php 5,000 vouchers for it. Pretty good deal right?
The promo though will only last until December 31 (so you better purchase now), but the Vouchers will be good until next year. I plan to buy a suit with it, they accepted mine in SM Cubao Department store.
If you are a fan of the franchise, a rebel or a supporter of the empire, there's no other great way to support your side but by looking the part. The coolest line of Star Wars merchandise to celebrate their 40th year is now available at all SM Accessories section at the SM Store. Imagine my surprise when I walked inside the department store yesterday and got the shock of my life by finding these pieces at affordable prices.
Mind you these are officially licensed merchandise which you won't probably see awfully lot outside the Philippines but you'll see them at your favorite SM Malls. The Lucas Film installment of The Last Jedi had us all at the edge of our seats, but we're not spoiling the Luke Skywalker story - they're already being shown in the Philippines beginning yesterday! I super love the caps that they have and also the ones that show Chewbacca on the print. There's also the white empire soldiers that they put in colorful graphics, easily identifiable even from afar... you'll be instantly the envy of your friends hands down!
The Chewie string bags, the Darth Vader utility and zipper type bags all look so cute, you just need to carry them around to look cute. Or tell your sons that hey, "I AM YOUR FATHER" *heavy breathing*
Aside from that, they've got differently designed key chains, coffee mugs, light lamps that are just OUT OF THIS WORLD AND GALAXY! Like far far away!
Even in the rainy days, suit up and still be Jedi fashion worthy with these Star Wars Umbrellas, and Kylo Ren Movie posters too that are exclusively available in SM Accessories. Now men, rejoice as these are all available in the sections of The SM Store today. Saw this being sold at SM Cubao yesterday and it's bound to be part of my outfit when the next movie premier comes on the next movie. Of course it has to happen! Go rush to SM Men's Accessories today because it's only going to be limited! Fast fashion happens!
Shining, glistening, she proudly surfaces... the SM WOMAN in the halls of SMX Convention Center for Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2014. This is another brand carried on The SM Store to cater to women who want luxurious clothing at the fraction of a cost. Style wise, I have seen the collection exude femininity without sacrificing quality - a feat which every Filipina dreams of. This is their answer to your clamor. Your happiness starts with a little loveliness.
And that of course is what we saw at the preview a few hours before the show. This wouldn't be possible without these ladies.
The SM Woman collection was interpreted in sections; the new age Filipina can now wear something for Fashion, Career, Casual, Evening and Resort. Impressed and attracted on these pieces that follow Fall/Winter shades - but it's all a mix and a bit more structural, floral, pastel, basic, graphic and soft yet flowy dresses. They've got it all! Which reminds me, didn't they say "We've got it all for you!"?

The difference is, it's lighter in construction, brighter and bolder in colors, prints are more modern, designs are elegant and classy... but... it's very affordable. You wouldn't think they'd be pricing them 799 to a little less over a thousand bucks. Unbelievable!
I'd like to commend SM Woman for opening the show with gorgeous Jasmine Maierhofer. Her gorgeous face was something talked of angels, people were at awe when the SM WOMAN sign was raised to start the show. Aside from that, your resort wear was a fresh addition. Something that I used to see in latin shows looks so perfect in our tropics. Like a glove. The bright prints and more modern construction of coats and cute capes was adored by the ladies I sat with that evening. That says a lot
