Lifebuoy and Philippine Red Cross Push for 4 Point Hygiene Agenda

Sunday, November 14, 2021

Even before this arrived in the mail, I must say, I've grown an affinity to the soap brand trusted by families around the world, that's Lifebuoy. As various businesses are going back to normal, I'm sure people are raring to go outside but of course, we shouldn't forget how to protect ourselves from an unseen enemy. The government offices and doctors recommend hand washing, cleaning and disinfecting, which the good folks at Lifebuoy have done quite well doing during these very difficult years.

Honestly, I know there are tons of soaps out there that actually have the same features, but the way they make Lifebuoy these days, just smells amazingly good. Last year, they campaigned for proper handwashing.. that really helped a lot of individuals who struggle and ask themselves if its enough. Filipinos want something easy, something that really works. Lifebuoy has Aciv Silver+ technology that helps fight 99.0% of germs.

They want to help even more this year so together with the Philippine Red Cross, they're pushing for a 4 point hygiene plan so you could be empowered especially the youth. They call it #4TheFuture, and it's easy to follow!

1. Wear that mask. It has proven to lessen the spread of the virus, and even if government restrictions has eased, please be kind, protect yourselves, your loved ones, and other people.

2. Practice social distancing. You may be innocently just buying grocery, lining up in a government agency, or riding public transportation. No matter where it ease, the distance makes it hard to spread the virus so again, be kind.

3. Get that jab. It has been proven that vaccines work. It also has lessen deadly effects of the virus so be a responsible citizen and get that vaccine.

4. Wash your hands and do it regularly. The easiest way to get rid of the virus is quite simple, and we have to do it regularly. There are a lot of things we can get in surfaces and if you're prone to touching your face often, that's not going to be safe. Make sure you do!

Now it ain't impossible to be a Lifebuoy Ambassador, they have a program for it. Just sign up at https://bit.ly/LifebuoyAmbassador and tell other people about Do The Lifebuoy #4TheFuture 4 point hygiene agenda. Tell them about it in any way you like, not just in social media. You can also get Lifebuoy in leading supermarkets, groceries, even online in Shopee and Lazada. You may see information about this in their Facebook page so just search for Lifebuoy Philippines, it's all there! They've got lots of products like body wash, alcohol, and of course, soaps and liquid soap for handwashing. Been loving it so far, you will too!

Auto-Gard Waterless Car Wash

Monday, April 17, 2017

Isn't the weather crazy? I mean one minute it's cool and windy, the next day it's super hot and you're all sweaty and then the next day you're dripping wet because of monsoon rain and it happens when you're just about to go out with friends and family. You may struggled all morning to clean your car with soap and water only to find out that your precious shiny vehicle would look like a wet rag because the rain always find its way to ruin your plans as mother nature intended it to be. Well don't take that pail and shampoo out yet because we might have a better solution to your car wash problems. This one however comes in a bottle.

By using this with the Auto Gard Microfiber cloth, a simple task of cleaning your car would save you about 20-100 liters of water for each bottle. This is designed however for light dirt and grime and not when you're doing 4x4 or off road driving (no it's not the answer to your heavily soiled car). It provides like an extra layer of protection on your car's surface so it won't be that dirty the next time you plan to do another car wash. For porous or non porous places like your windows, glass, wheels, headlights. this thing will make your car clean even without the use of water. You just simply spray it on and wipe it off. Auto Gard Waterless Carwash also gives your smooth plastics and chrome the shine it deserves so you won't look bad when other people are inside your vehicle. Like shiny new.

The High Performance Microfiber cloth also makes sure you won't be wiping it on and off your car like a wet rag because the darn thing sucks up water like it's thirsty, like a man who just got out of the Sahara desert and can be squeezed out as if it's almost dry. You ca use it over and over again and can last you a couple uses so you don't have to worry you're not keeping a dirty rag in your garage all the time.

It's easy to apply, and only costs less than a few hundred pesos (Php 199 SRP). You also save on water, on effort and protects your car from the harmful elements of everyday driving. It's not going to stick to your car's surface that much and may well serve you with less effort in cleaning that car on an everyday basis. Getting a car wash these days are so expensive so saving a few bucks by doing it yourself will definitely be the better alternative. You'll have more time to prepare to go to work rather than slaving away with soap and water all the time. Isn't that a good thing?

I know, I'm using it right now for our family's huge van and I think it'll save is a lot of time, and money too.

New Nivea Men Products for Sensitive Skin

Friday, August 19, 2016

Hi there! I'm John. No, you're not looking at a Gorilla, you're not looking at a Chimpanzee either. That's me growing 2 days worth of facial hair. It's genes, and I grew up having this since I was in college. At first it was actually cool, you learn to live with it. How did that happen? I don't know. To tell you honestly, it calls for a regimen that you need to follow almost every other day... otherwise people will start to suddenly give you bananas randomly out on the streets, wherever you are.

Funny I know, but it's a struggle. You won't look presentable when you need to. It's so fast sometimes that you can't keep up. You need products that would be able to take care of your skin too because underneath all that fur LOL, still is your skin!

These days, you can't just use soap and water when you're shaving. You'll easily get those nicks, cuts and bumps when you don't take this seriously. For sensitive skin, Nivea Men has come out with a line that's got 0% alcohol so you won't get that stinging feeling when you do shave. That's good news for those who hate that burning feeling. We don't need to suffer! The Nivea Men Cooling Shaving Gel has just got the right amount of coldness on the skin, like a winter breeze, soft not harsh.

One rule to keep your skin the way it is right now, is moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. If you don't follow this, you're bound to get your skin damaged, be rough, and you'll look old. You're still young but you'll look like a raisin, we wouldn't want that to happen do we? Nivea Men's Cooling Moisturizer is just going to make you feel refreshed, not sticky, a thing that should have been happening since Day 1. This is new, developed for men, so why not use it instead of ones that are primarily designed for women in general. Makes sense? I thought so.

Before going to bed, never use anything harsh on your skin but remember to always clean it up with newly formulated Nivea Men Face Wash. This isn't soap, so you don't complicate the chemical components of your skin, nor does it dry out. You still have to have natural oils there but not the dirty kind. Don't even think of sleeping with cosmetics on, even powder, it'll just clog your pores and make things worse. Imagine a zit living under your beard or mustache, that will be one painful shave pretty soon.

Now you have something to look forward to when you go shopping at Watsons or retail stores nationwide. Men should have Nivea Men products, sensitive ones included. You deserve to shave and look good right?!
