Ella Cruz, AJ Muhlach for Wattpad Presents: Bebeng Pabebe Meets Super Jiro

Adventure awaits as TV5 unleashes another episode of Wattpad Presents this week. It's called Super Jiro and Bebeng Pabebe which stars Aj Mulach and the lovely viral dance video princess Ella Cruz. This is another installment of TV5's high rating show and perhaps this might be the first time we're seeing something "super heroish" in this show which would be a fresh thing to see in public TV.

Aj says "This is the first ever super hero themed Wattpad episode and I was able to try and work with a harness so it was really challenging to do this. I realized this was something new and I'm happy to be able to try new things in showbiz, something I'd never realize that I'd do on a normal day. I'm still not confident about my body but I hope ordinary people see that they too can be heroes just like Super Jiro."

Ella says "This is the gayest Wattpad episode ever and you'll see how funny the story is when it shows on Monday (today). Aside from my viral videos, I'll be coming out with a Twerk It Like Miley Pabebe version that people should watch out for in this episode. People might think it's the only thing that I do but it just happened to be the most watched, but I have more up my sleeve on my Youtube account that you'll like. There will also be more in the coming weeks and it's going to be different dances, people just loved watching the Twerking video more because it's popular. I'll be doing it in different shows too and this isn't just the only thing that I do, I hope some people don't judge me because it's the only thing they see."

"The real Pabebe Girls will also be appearing in the show and they'll be doing some scenes that will include being a bait for the super heroes made by villains of the show. Bebeng Pabebe will be also be grouped with them later on which you have got to see when you watch the show." says Zaldy Gumaru the show's director.

Wattpad Presents: Super Jiro and Bebeng Pabebe will show starting today August 31 on the happiest network in the country TV5!

Martin Escudero, Yana Asistio in Wattpad Presents: Pristine Academy

You're good looking, you have a successful career, you have tons of ladies and the only thing that's wrong with you is your relationships. You were accused, you supposedly got someone pregnant and now you're in hiding; but since you're a little famous, it's doubly hard to do that. What do you do if you were in his shoes?

Well, Keifer (played by Martin Escudero) had a different idea. With the help of his friend, he dropped his pants, took off his shirt and replaced it with..... a mini skirt, hot red blouse and full on make up! Okay! Now that's crazy! Instead of seeing the the old playboy slash hunk slash good looking guy, everyone will meet Keira. 

Keira is a tall, strong, spirited dancer. She's pretty and seem to be in a budding friendship with Aeone (played by Yana Asistio). In this installment of Wattpad Presents, they're not just dealing with the drag queen concept, but will also try and put in a love story in between. In different times in the story, you'll see Keira slowly getting attracted to Aeone, where Aeone was even getting confused already about their sexuality. Now how will they be handling this if some other people come into the picture and divulge what's really happening. Will Aeone be disappointed with Keifer if she finds out that he already got someone else pregnant? The plot thickens.

During the blogcon, Martin Escudero says "These are exactly the kind of roles that are very challenging. I could identify these roles with King of Comedy Dolphy, Eddie Garcia, and a lot of other great actors that have never said no to these kind of characters. It's definitely challenging and if there's something that I've learned from the same kind of role that I did a few years back, it's not an easy thing to be in the shoes of women. This story is also a bit different, because the previous one is about a gay guy and in this one I have to act as if I'm a lady so it's a little tame. I've known Yana for a long time, we're friends, but she was this little when I last saw her, now she's a lady and we're friends but it's nice that we're doing a Wattpad Series because we could talk and get more close because of this project. I was very comfortable doing this because we didn't have those awkward moments since I could talk to her and she helps me a lot when we're doing a sequence on set. She comes prepared and knows the story. I would definitely like to work with her in other projects soon!". 

This is the first time I'm interviewing Yana and I haven't really covered her previous projects, but now, she's part of the Star Magic Angels. In this group she says they're going to take more serious and matured roles compared to what they've been doing in the past. Aside from that she says "When this Wattpad episode was in the plans, I asked my handler and management about doing this and I was all for it. This is also where I started, so I did ask permission. My sister and I laugh about this career thing but I know she's more into acting than I am. But when it comes to comedic timing I think that's where I excel, she's aware of that. 

We're not pressured at all because we are trying to do this individually, although I can't discredit the fact that I am being known because of my Mom and Dad, I'm doing my best to be known for what I do, but as much as possible I want to be known as Yana alone. I'd want to concentrate in Sexy Comedy since I'm a Star Magic Angel, and these past few weeks we've been doing a lot of promos and workshops for that. They won't tell us their plans yet but they definitely have projects lined for us, we have different shows though. We're clearing up that we're not really a group. 

I hope TV5 offers more shows. I really want to do that, I want to work with the people I worked with in the past. I don't know the reason why I blush a lot when I have a scene with Martin even when he's in Keira's character. I almost thought I was going to be butch. We've been friends for a long time, working Martin Escudero is so fun, I'd like to work with him again soon. I don't know if that kissing scene is going to be real or not, you would have to watch the show. I haven't really had my first screen kiss yet, if I had a chance to do it with someone I'd like it to be with Sam Milby in ABSCBN but in TV5 it'll be Martin, in GMA it will be Alden Richards hahah! I've been requesting this since last year and I'm so glad this pushed through!"  

Wattpad Presents: Pristine Academy will start this Monday August 10 at 9PM and end on Friday, only on TV5. I really hope they get to do another project, like a show of sorts and become something more than just a screen pair. Martin is single, he's pretty busy with his career but if it comes he says he doesn't want a temporary one and opt for the last and serious ones. I heard from the grapevine Yana likes him, so let's just see if they have chemistry on screen this week on the happiest network in the Philippines, TV5!

Edward Mendez and Marvelous Alejo for Wattpad Presents: Said I Loved You

It's going to be an intriguing, semi-sexy but romantic episode this week at TV5's highest rating show as Edward Mendez and Marvelous Alejo star in Wattpad Presents: Said I Loved You. The story revolves around young childhood friends turned May-December affair relationship. It was a weird transition between these two and Edward's character didn't know how to become just a friend to Marvelous or become something else. People would just squirm just thinking about it. Eventually Edward had a girlfriend and Marvelous' character became the girl scorned. Add to that, when Edward's character who initially thought that it was nothing, suddenly felt something for her. Now, it's going to be a lot dangerous for both of them.

 

Marvelous says "I'm so flattered to be with the guy fantasized by guys, gays, girls and everybody else. Edward is so humble, very reserved at times. He's very cute when he smiles and very easy to get along with. I am very happy that this was given to me. This is my second Wattpad project and my first one was very successful when I was paired with a much younger guy. From being paired with teens to someone in Edward's age bracket, it's a little shocking and I had to made adjustments. Shocking because we also had to do a legit kissing scene and I was very nervous that I had to do that. Nervous level 10! I was asking him to help me and thinking what the public would actually think about me, about the person I'm kissing because he's not my usual partner too... that's what was on my mind the whole time. But then, it really went okay for my first legit screen kiss. Our director's energy is on level 11 out of 10, so it's a very fun shoot. He made us a little easy. I do have older guys as crushes, I like matured guys too. I said no at first with the kissing scene but when I texted management about it, they decided I go on with it and show a different Marvelous this time. It was only a smack and not that much of a french kiss, it was just light. I'm open to a little age gap, I think it's normal. A lot of girls can probably relate to me because they would want a man who can already understand them, and think maturely. In terms of problems, they decide better and I like that. His body looks really good, I saw it and I haven't really seen anything like that before. I didn't know what to do since this is my first screen kiss, I had a boyfriend but he's gone. This is different, you do it for love and you do it for work. (then I asked if she would fall in love with someone like Edward, she said) Yes..."

Edward on the other hand says "Working with Marvelous was fun, in the beginning she really was into the character. She was so nice, she was sweet, and she randomly cracks jokes whether off or on cam. Our director was fun and we were at ease, just seeing him made us a little jumpy even if we're already a little tired from taping the whole day. As for being gone for a little while, after the movie with Aiai I released my own fitness book and that became a best seller. It's a fitness book available in National Bookstore and released all throughout the country. This was actually my dream ever since I was a kid so I just fulfilled it. It's called "Your Dream Body Come True" which talks about exercise and healthy eating. I had a Wattpad episode last year with Ritz Azul, the kissing scene there was a little cheated but this one's sagad (then everyone laughed!). I didn't do any preparations, it was just a fun thing, a full kiss. It was a marvelous kiss and we had a few takes doing that scene. I'm thankful and I had a great time with people from this station because even if you're tired you're having fun. It's worth it and a privilege, as the stories are great and there are real people following it. With Marvelous, the age difference is little but Ritz and Marvelous played different age groups, Marvs is younger and Ritz played an older woman. I also had to be wholesome and the other was a bit physical. When we kissed, I think it was more lively this time because we didn't hesitate that much. In real life, I'm a real sucker for singers and Marvelous sang a few songs for me while we worked together and that was fun. (then Marvs sang Para Sa Akin beautifully at this point and had a few people stop what they were doing because of that)"

He adds "I didn't want to do this in the beginning, I just had common friends with my manager and found me there, I auditioned and this happened. I grew up in the US and I did Pinay Pie with Brad Turvey and Aiai. I finished Sports Science in Maryland so that's what I wrote my book successfully. I am an endorser for the Belo group since I was 18 and now I'm working with Sexy Solutions and I think that's why my forte is fitness. Acting wise, I'm enjoying it. I hope to get more projects this year. Hopefully after Wattpad I'd get to do a lot more with other offers. I'm really ready to take this on. I handle it pretty well and I think intrigue is part of the game. You can't do anything about it and explain everything to them. That happens, at the end of the day I know my self and I was raised by a good family and it doesn't disturb me. I'm having a good time and I'm enjoying it! I love this craft. As for topless scenes I guess it's a bit more wholesome and it's like a few minutes. There will be scenes, but it's going to be quick and funny, people should watch out for that. If I had to choose, I'd like someone younger because they're more fresh, 7 to 10 years is not bad. I would be glad to impart wisdom. I did modelling thing 10 years ago, I didn't see to do it for a long time, I did fashion shows, I was invited for Cosmo again but I think I had my fun with it. I'm ready to take on more projects and challenging roles. This is a good place to hone my skills and learn. I'm grateful that this was given to me, I was never really picky but the one I like is the one with Ritz Azul since it was a little 007, a little hero role but something wearing formal suits in a funeral parlor last year. Can't wait for this to show next week!"
