We got the chance to interview Richard Yap and Dennis Trillo at the Star Cinema offices about their new movie called "You're Still The One". The film also stars Maja Salvador, Ellen Adarna and is produced by film giants Star Cinema and Regal Films. We talked to Maja yesterday so we thought it was only Richard and Dennis that we were about to talk to, Maja appeared in the last few minutes as they were headed for a mall show. Anyway, it was so nice to see Dennis Trillo in the soils of another station. It's refreshing to see that all that network war thing seemed to have died down and they all work in projects like these. That said, they arrived inside the Star Cinema conference room and saw us bloggers plus some news camera men. I interviewed them in different projects but not in one movie, this looks interesting.
Richard Yap starts "This is a very different role for me because in a way this is very controversial if you compare this with other roles I've done before. This talks about giving a chance, if you are meant to be, how to move on, and ask what if's? You must find a way how to move on."
He adds "Women are more emotional, men are more of the thinking type, so you often ask questions before you try it. Vincent is an ambitious person, remember he helped Elise even if he's on the line. Maja and I haven't really talked that much because we had limited time, we often meet in the set. But we worked already in the past in My Binondo Girl, so we're like friends for 4 years so it wasn't awkward at all."
