Queen of Feng Shui Marites Allen Enters Metaverse, Launches New Book on Year of Water Rabbit

Wednesday, November 30, 2022

It's been a while since we've seen Ms. Marites Allen in person. She's been to the UK and different parts of the globe to share her knowledge in Feng Shui and this time, she's doing quite differently. Donned in a Rabbit Cape ensemble  made by Dexter Alazas (inspired by Marites Allen's Golden Zodiac), she shared how we all could take advantage of the Year of the Water Rabbit this 2023.

What's up with the coming Year of the Water Rabbit this 2023?

Ms. Marites Allen chimes in on what you could look forward to if you're an avid fan of Feng Shui. 2020 was a year of new beginnings. 2021 was the year of vaccinations, 2022 was a year of breakups while this year is about "Letting Go!" The center is love star, so if you want to let go, this is the opportune time for that.

She says "In the last 2 and a half years, I was approached by the largest publisher in the UK and they are publishing my Chinese Astrology book this January, you can pre order now on AMAZON UK. This will also be released in the US and the Philippines later in the year. This is the first time I had to be away from my children because they are growing, I have my planner. If you are born in the year of the horse, you will be rich this year. The best seller Almanac with lucky days and months is now also bundled with books with special mantras, this was very helpful for me. This include a lot of secrets you can take advantage of for the year of the Water Rabbit."

She adds "The rabbit needs to be careful because of the illness star. In 2023, if you are boar, dog, a father, you will be a little challenged this year until 2024. The next 20 years will be more for women. We cannot just rely on Feng Shui, we need to work hard to make sure things are good for us. We will be an online event on December 17 and 18. Our book is going to be available on Amazon UK. We will also enter the Metaverse, a first of its kind."

Feng Shui Enters Metaverse

If you avidly follow what she's doing every year, you know there's bound to be something new up her sleeves. She has officially been the first to officially do this in the country. She's on her infancy in entering the Metaverse. During this year's annual Feng Shui forecast (which will happen on December 17 and 18), she will be launching her Golden Zodiac books (all 12 of them) which will contain a new AR function wherein you can proudly see your own symbol just by scanning the QR code on the book itself.

You can purchase the books bundled together with the Planner and Almanac which is already available at https://frigga.com.ph/collections/books. They will also be rolling out Golden Zodiac through KALOSCOPE to begin issuing NFT's (which also has value) in order to get perks, access to exclusive events, discounts on the Frigga shop and discounts on private consultations with the Queen of Feng Shui Marites Allen.

The 2023 Feng Shui Planner, Personal Horoscope Books

If you want to have a detailed guide for the on where to place things in your house, the Feng Shui Planner is essential. The Personal Horoscope Books will also be good for reading without the need to pass through other signs as this is now in separate books. You can give this to friends, family who might need the same love and help that Ms. Marites Allen provides.

You can now purchase these items at the Frigga.co.uk or Frigga.com.ph sites or through Lazada. Tickets to her event on December can also be bought through the same websites mentioned. You can also call them via 09209509390 if you have inquiries about the event. You can also follow her social media channels as updates about this and the guides are posted there on a regular basis. This is just the glimpse of what's to come with Ms. Marites Allen, proving she's not just the Queen of Feng Shui, but of innovations as well.

Ian Veneracion Goes International with ONE GOOD DAY on Amazon Prime Video

Saturday, October 22, 2022

Last night we went to Seda Vertis North for the press conference of One Good Day, a film by Studio Three Sixty to be shown on the Amazon Prime Video platform. This is directed by Lester Pimentel Ong who did Panday, Lastikman, Imortal, La Luna Sangre, Bagani among others. He says "This has been something I have been fortunate to do with Ian Veneracion as he's not just a good looking man, but a martial artist and a real athlete."

As mentioned, this is Ian Veneracion's foray to something that will be internationally released. The film is going to be released in 10 countries (maybe even more later on). As this is acquired already by the Prime Video platform it would be accessible to the market they intended this to be shown to. Direk Lester mentioned that there's millions of audiences waiting for a glimpse of what Filipino action films are. There's certainly a lack of it, but if there's someone who would be nice to see out there, Ian Veneracion would be a sight for sore eyes. For those who don't know, he's done a lot of action films in the late 90's and 2000's. He's not new to the genre, and he didn't stay away from doing physical training for it because it's part of his lifestyle to shoot, do martial arts and spar every once in a while. He was excited to do this when news came about this project. Here's part of the interview we had with him last night.

The talk also delved on the latest brouhaha about banning KDrama in the country, here's what he said about the issue.

Ian Veneracion is also celebrating his 40th year in the industry, proof that vampires exist!

Other artists that will also be part of this movie include Rabiya Mateo, Andrea Torres, Aljur Abrenica, Kyzer Catillo, Justin Cuyugan, Nicole Cordoves, Pepe Herrera, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo and others. This will be shown November 17, 2022 and will be in 6 parts on Thursdays thereafter. These are certainly exciting times for Filipinos to showcase how we do it in our part of the globe. Ian also says "I hope this just opens opportunities not just for me, but the talented Filipino actors that we have in the country." and by the looks of it, it's quite possible to happen soon.

Amazon Holds Global Selling Expo-Seller Bootcamp

Saturday, October 16, 2021

If you've heard of Amazon and have no idea how it works (especially if you're planning to sell there), we're in the same boat. Recently, they held the "2021 Amazon Expo -  Seller Bootcamp" aimed to introduce micro, small and medium enterprises to a more global e-commerce platform and how the Amazon framework can help build a business with a worldwide audience.

A recent survey comissioned by Amazon Global Selling marked the Philippines to have the highest number of homegrown sellers compared to other ASEAN countries. This accounts for a greater number of Filipino MSME's that have no access or opportunities to do cross border business, amidst the high demand of online shopping in online channels, apps, through digital models. Mr. Bernard Tay, the Head of Amazon Global Selling in Southest Asia says "The Philippines currently has a very young but fast developing e-commerce industry. MSME's in this region need to develop understanding and implementing cross border operations and international logistics. This Seller bootcamp would be a great opportunity especially for small businesses so they could identify gaps in procedures and arm themselves with the know-how, assets and network that would be able to bring their business to the world through Amazon."

They have gotten over 1.3K MSME's that have registered in the bootcamp which is a virtual event that spans 3 days so they get to listen to experts discussing subjects such as cross country payments, how to ship, taxation, flow of prospect customers and complexities of marketing. This was done after data was released from Cross Border E-commerce Awareness and Perception Reports that embodied over 1,600 MSME respondents coming from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines wherein they pinpointed a lack of information in cross country e-commerce. This sector was also forecasted to grow by 30% in 2026 which is why they want to equip them through innovative programs that would help them grow into a global business and adapt to the digital transformation every country is going through. Challenges include supply chain and logistics, costs, and competition versus other international sellers in the Amazon platform. Amazon is in the process of building a state of the art fulfillment and delivery system that does Fulfillment by Amazon (which they have done in other countries) so the company picks it up, packs it and ship, and also provide customer service for the products they sell. Logistics providers were also invited in the bootcamp to explain how it works, how it is managed and tell them how to take on these challenges. The Philippine MSME's puts this as their top concern, then their readiness.

Amazon has built resources for MSME's in the region and around the world so businesses could expand easier. Combined with the efforts of each industry stakeholders and governments of each country, they've continued to grow together with their seller partners. This will be a good accompaniment to their current Seller University nad hundreds of tools and services present in Amazon's channels around the world. Look it up, it may just be your time to shine!
