Avida Opens New Showroom at Ayala Malls Manila Bay

Friday, September 23, 2022

The hunger to have a place to call your own is just something one wouldn't be able to shake off especially for Gen Z's, young professionals, investors, OFW's or those who are just about to start a family.

Since 2006, Avida has been there to provide residential enclaves to thousands of families in different regions. As Ayala Land's residential arm, they've proven time and again why they continue to be the preferred real estate company in the country.

The event was graced by Ms. Bing Gumboc, the current Avida Vice President for Sales and Marketing and Mr, Regie Alabe who heads Avida's Metro South area. They now have 100 projects in over 25 prime locations around the country. This launch is also part of their 32nd Anniversary celebrations.

At the Ayala Malls Manila Bay Avida Showroom, they showcased 2 model units. One of which is from the Centralis Towers which is located in Taft Avenue in Manila. It's a high rise with over 1,111 units and 27 floors for residential use. There are also commercial spaces on the ground which could be useful for groceries, shops, and furniture stores so you won't have to go far when you need something at home. Each part of the model unit was used efficiently to make sure you have a place to sleep, work, eat and take a breather. The other unit for Patio Madrigal was spacious, presented bare, has its own balcony so you can see the view of the city from this vantage point. Patio Madrigal is located in Roxas Boulevard and is a high rise project that can accomodate 595 units in over 14 residential floors. This will be done in towers so if you're planning to get one, it might be better to do it now. They also have 4 podium levels made for mixed use, quite nice to be for restaurants, shops and other commercial establishments that would make life easy when living there.

Make sure you visit Ayala Malls Manila Bay today and see the Avida showroom so you can feel how it is to live there. You may visit their website AvidaLand.com or follow their social channels @AvidaLandPH.

Bacsi Bros Expands Operations at Ayala Malls Marikina

Saturday, July 27, 2019

They're growing, definitely growing.

It's a  great day for comfort food goodness and abs for days as we celebrate the opening of Bacsi Bros in Ayala Malls in Marikina City. This is different from Ayala Malls Feliz and is a two floor complex at the Liwasang Kalayaan area. It caters to residents and people from surrounding towns so they don't have to go to far cities just to go to an Ayala Mall.

The Bacsi Bros branch here is at the Food Choices area up at the second floor together with other pretty well known brands. But of course, we have to go to Bacsi Bros because who doesn't dream of hot heaping white rice, fluffy egg and strips of mouthwatering bacon.

It is as freshly cooked as you order so just look it up on the menu and owner endorser Tony Labrusca will offer you everything for 75 pesos. Extra egg and Cheddar Cheese will only cost you 15 bucks! Sounds good? Of course!

This BacsiBro has these soft fried smoky bacon, tons of liquidy melted cheese, a soft sunny side up egg on top of white rice. Ohhhh I could hear Homer Simpson's growling.

The Cornsibro though was perfect for breakfast. The corned beef was soft and a bit on the salty side, the runny egg envelopes everything including the rice, you could almost taste it in the photos.

The Hotsibro on the other hand is perfect for kids, kids who can tell. If you think about it, it's like an all day breakfast setup. Less the hassle of cooking.

Tocino lovers will rejoice over this Tocibros, remember that they cook this teppan style so you get that bits of crunchy edges on the meat and the egg they cook. There is also some margarine/butter in it so you get that flavor profile too. Ohh this was so good!

For those who want it beefy, try the Tapsibros. Strips of Tapa style beef fried over the griddle on top of sunny side up egg, and white rice. It ain't for the faint of heart indeed and is real comfort food. You should enjoy this with friends and family.

They also are launching a new item on their menu which are all wraps. I tried the Bacsi Wrap earlier and it was almost full to the brim, reminiscent of breakfast burritos in the US. It's quite huge and filling, pretty much an equivalent of the rice meals, so go get the Cornsi Wraps, Hotsi Wrap, or Tapsi Wrap if you love Bacsi Bros. Oh and before I forget, they also have Chiksi Bro and Porksi Bro for 99 if you have an even larger appetite.

Oh and today, he's actually here in Ayala Malls Marikina Branch, of course it went crazy!

Golden Bamboo Restaurant Opens at Ayala Malls Circuit

Golden Bamboo Restaurant opens in Ayala Malls Circuit

It has been a while since I've been in Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati City. I'm a boy from the north, so it would take a bit of an effort to actually travel all the way there. Seldom, yeah, but if it calls for something good, I say, I'm there!

At the mall's upper ground floor (right side of the escalator at the main entrance), Golden Bamboo Restaurant just opened shop and the promise of authentic chinese cuisine was just too much, too tempting not to visit it ahead of the public. It was important to them to do it during the month when Valentines day and Chinese New Year happens so they could go all out in celebrating the occasion, complete with Dragon Dance and promos fit for the holidays. With them in the mixed use property, people can now have authentic, handcrafted and freshly cooked dimsum + chinese dishes intricately prepared by Chines Master Chef Zhang. By any word, that just means good news.

I was impressed with the spread.

The Roast Platter - this is a selection of Roast Peking Chicken, Soy Chicken, Peking Duck and Crispy Chicken. It was served with a side of probably pickled ginger and hoisin sauce, reminds me of how Hainanese Chicken Rice is prepared.

Golden Bamboo Crispy Pork Leg - as the name suggests, this just had to be on our table. The crispy pork trotters was just awesome on top of a side of white rice. The skin was crispy but surprisingly not dry, no need for dips even if they had some for it. Definitely a must try.

Emperor's Rib with Buns - think of thick slices of pork (no holding back on the fat) enveloped in a soft white bun (mantao) with a dollop of hoisin sauce (as preference). It's a guilty version of a sandwich, so soft, amazing for a snack or starter.

Roast Suckling Pig - as if the trotters wasn't enough, this comes along and everyone welcomed it. Young and soft pork meat with crispy skin, you can't go wrong with that. This would be best for big occasions like birthdays, events, or maybe just your Sunday lunch. I got it and put a little hoisin on it, still loved how crunchy and a little salty it is.

Beef Curry with Coconut Milk - if you're fond of spices, then try this one. I love the potatoes and the curry sauce, the beef was easily filling us as it is heavy protein. I would recommend this for those who want heavy lunch or if you're a little famished.

Crab Salt and Pepper - simple but so delicious, for seafood lovers out there, this would make you happy. The garlicky, lightly salted exterior and thick crab parts would make you want more. It may be sufficient for 4, but it would be a great meal for two people. I'd rather do the latter, more for me is always a good idea.

Assorted Misua Guisado with Meat - noodles for long life, so it always has to be there. Mix it thoroughly so you get a perfect bite each time.

Fried Lapu Lapu with Mango Sauce - I guess all good things must come to an end, but ending the main course with a bang. White fish with sweet tangy mangoes and sweet chili sauce, it had all the nicest things in it. It was healthy and not too oily for something that has been fried to a crisp. This is my personal favorite.

Ube with Sago - for our dessert, it was surprising to see something hot offered. The ube and sago combo was good, but I bet this would be also best if taken cold, either way, you have to make sure to try dining here with your friends and family. You deserve the best.

Golden Bamboo Restaurant also has branches at Meycauayan Bulacan, Santiago City Isabela, Tugegarao City Cagayan and this new one in Makati. Now don't fret because they plan to open more in the next few years, particularly in other urbanized cities so everyone could get to taste good authentic chinese cuisine where they are. You should reserve a table or two via 09178028070 so they can host you at Ayala Malls Circuit.

They are not that expensive, but these dishes would be just so perfect to treat you and your family. They have social media channels so just find @goldenbambooph on IG and GoldenBambooPH on FB.

It's all there! 8/10 kumags.
