I Want Privacy
Sunday, December 05, 2010
Our office just relocated. It's a stone's throw away from the original space we were at and in a different building. I love its proximity to shops and restaurants which would make our life a little easier when we need to go out for lunch or dinner. We are currently fixing some small details in the room that we were assigned to because apparently everyone can see us from the outside. Privacy is of utmost concern since there are confidential matters that we also need to work on. I hate to say this but it looks like we are in a fishbowl right now. I need to secure conservatory blinds so we could get some decent covers for our new space now. If that wouldn't be done within the week I'm sure to have problems when meeting schedules arrive. I'll have to push the administration department to take care of that.
The transfer was smooth and without hitches. The computers are working fine too! I love the new one because it is a little isolated. If they take care of the privacy concerns then it will be perfect. I wish I could bring my own covers for that because I probably have better taste in choosing the right color and texture for blinds. I don't like those other ones you usually see in banks which makes the feel too corporate. I want it formal but a little homey. I want the ones in the photo above. I'll ask them to get the ones on line. I'm sure they'll be doing the other offices too and this would be great for that look.

We're moving to the other building!

We're going to transfer to the corporate building and will be leaving this asylum looking one tonight. Although there have been good memories we need a more pleasing place to stay to do business. I had my boss call this current one we are in like a hospital room so there are no arguments about that. The one we're going to is a little better but there's one small problem; we won't have privacy. The walls are made of tempered glass so everyone could literally look at us from the outside. This is not good for us who need some quiet space when doing our job and I wish there was pleated conservatory blinds that we can use to address this issue. I'll contact some people from administration so they can procure them before I step into the other building. That's a great plan!
My team will be handling a lot of communication from the outside world because of new requirements. I will be working hard this month just like what I've been doing in the past. I need privacy just like everybody else in this world and if that small detail would do it for me this would be bliss! I'll try and see if I can make that place a better one than when we found it. If the people before us didn't remove the blinds there we wouldn't have to scuffle so hard to find new ones. Although it would turn out better looking now that I've got my eye on cozy ones I saw on line. It's turning out to be a pretty good day!
How's the weather in your neck of the woods?!
Sunshine Sometimes Spoils Sleep!
Sunday, November 07, 2010
It's so nice to get some rest and recreation in this side of the world and I have been enjoying my stay in the hotel. I always go back so I can get some sleep after the tour but I'm having some problems in the morning. It's just way too bright here and they didn't have anything to cover the windows aside from mediocre treatments. The perfect solution for this is Cheap Roller Blinds and I'm going to make sure the hotel management hears from me. It would be a relief to see other tourists complement them by getting that much needed sleep. After all that's what we're all here for in the first place.
The solution is so simple and I would really want to do the same thing at home. I am a nocturnal and it is so convenient to get one on line. I want to stay asleep as long as I can so I can be ready the next day. I don't want the sunshine interrupting my sleep. If I wanted that in the afternoon a simple twist and I'd have all the light that I want. I'm going to get some for the office too so it'll be doubly private for those really confidential business meetings. The simple things really matter when you get to use them for the comforts of life!
