Fun at Moose Gear + Moose Girl Holiday PLAYCAMP

Sunday, October 07, 2018

Walked right into a fun afternoon with kids and their families as they all participated in the Moose Gear + Moose Girl Holiday Play Camp at SM North The Block in Quezon City. It's an activity they designed for kids so they get a chance to learn how to model, dance and discover their talents even at an early age.

This is Moose Gear's way of cultivating the kids passion and fun after purchasing their high quality and fashionable Moose Gear and Moose Girl's apparel. They just released their holiday collection and this is a nice way to keep in touch with their market, the kids of course!

During the event, they had professional dancers teach the kids some really good dance moves, wherein after, they got them all on stage so they can dance in front of their families. I saw some proud parents taking photos and videos of their kids, they were even happier LOL!

They are also holding a search for the MG Holiday Endorser and all you have to do is post a photo of your kids wearing MG and answer why they should choose you to be their Holiday endorser. It will only be until November 5, they will get a chance to win MG lootbags and Kidzania passes (see Moose Gear on FB for more details).

Participants of the PLAYCAMP also got to meet Goin Bulilit kids Raikko Mateo,John Steven Guzman, Marc Santiago, Sophia Reola, Ashley Sarmiento, Chunsa Jung, Nhikzy Calma, Marco Masa, CX Navarro, Jana Agoncillo and Yesha Camille. They had two batches of kids in one day and it was really a fun and good experience for the kids who joined the workshop. If I were still in their age, I would have aced this. LOL

If you want to join too, follow their posts because information is all there!

Golden Fiesta Heart Healthy Camp at BGC

Thursday, December 07, 2017

I don't normally go super early mornjng events but I felt a Sunday walk wouldn't be that bad with these guys and gals. Just recently, Golden FIesta held the Golden Fiesta Heart Health Camp at the 30th Park in Taguig so early dwellers from all around BGC and nearby places had the chance to work out with real deal fitness coaches and fitness driven celebrities.

I saw Ana Roces, Anton Del Rosario, Jun Macasaet, Sam Ajdani paired up and were pitted against each other in activities in time trials to see who wins in the workout regimens that the coaches prepared for them that morning.

They were also joined by newly revived boyband 1:43 and whisked away by Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico as they went head to head complete with trash talk in a funny energetic mood that morning. I would vote Nico for president after that morning's activities.

Earlier, Golden Fiesta Canola Ool also had nutritionists, medical experts and their sales representatives took time to also join the program while Chefs showed hearty healthy meals and prepared it with Golden Fiesta Canola Oil which is a healthier alternative to your usual cooking oil.

We've been Facebook friends forever since Philippine Fashion Week days but Sam Ajdani looks so good in person. He also is part of Nico Bolzico's team who eventually won the time trials. Congratulations guys!

The event was open to the public and aside from getting their eyes full with the stars and models, they also got a treat from Golden Fiesta Canola Oil because they also had FREE body BMI assesment right there at the venue. They also had nutritionists as consultants so they could prepare healthy meals and tell them good news about the lovely benefits of phytoresol that reduces the bad cholesterols in the body. :)

Now isn't that nice? Well they're also doing this in other places in the metro so if you want to catch it please go to the Nutriasia or Golden Fiesta Facebook page because it's all there!

It's All About Survival!

Sunday, October 25, 2015

We had a great day of adventure down south together with Team Suspects this weekend and boy it was one for the books! We do spend quite some time with these folks in events but unfortunately we ended up in different teams and be with different people which is something we're really not comfortable with. We're that clingy and if you think about it, this is sort of out of our comfort zone. We did wall climbing, rappelling and a full obstacle course battling it out with different people. Aside from camaraderie, it was a way to have us cohesively work on our own little battles. It's much like the rules of survival as accorded by Bob Parsons Godaddy's Lifehack which includes going out of our comfort zones, not giving up, reasons to be encouraged, moving forward and a whole lot more. Just like him, going through these hardships made us realize about the perks of having a common bond with your brethren. We also learned about the fruits of cooperation, having solidarity and the effects of boosting team morale.

We're not the most athletic bunch, nor do we have the perfect chiseled physique to begin with. We didn't even know we were going through these hardships but we were optimistic about all the challenges they prepared for us. The good people from Pioneer also had us covered with Travel Buddy insurance via their Insure shop online so we're good for 30 days traveling on an adventure here or abroad should anything happen. We also had professional riggers and people from the camp to also help us feel secure with all our gear. Some other bloggers who were seasoned climbers also shared their expertise, giving us a view of what we were about to embark in. Everyone was both scared and excited if there's a term to define that feeling while most of us just had the urge to survive this ordeal. We all cheered for each other, found ourselves talking with each other even if we were once strangers.

While it was a competition and we knew everyone was going through a lot, we began giving each other tips how to finish a task - and that built trust and confidence. There were cuts and bruises, but we finished them one by one. We started conquering our fears and began enjoying what was supposedly frightening in the beginning. It was a different case of accomplishment because we were doing it all as a team. It didn't even bother us we were wearing different colors because once we sat down for lunch, cheering each other for the tasks, it felt we were cheering for friends and not because we had to, but we wanted to. Yes, it's a tough life and yes it's all about survival. The difference is, we survived together. That marks camaraderie at its highest form, which hopefully would also be applicable in business when we all go back to our offices and see each other, in a good different way.

Thank god for this day and the people we spent it with. We'll surely take the things we learned from camp in our lives and make it better.
