Over 2000 Ka-Pandas Onboard with foodpanda

Sunday, May 12, 2024

Those who rumor mongered a few years back might be biting their lips a lot by now as foodpanda concluded their onboarding caravan for hundreds of delivery partners, providers, and logistics personnel in Pasig City. This was after a very successful one that was held in Pasay City.

They also stand to benefit from different bonuses and perks that will be given to them as qualified partners, and Ka-Panda fleet. Mr. Ron Sanders the foodpanda Logistics Rider Experience Lead says "foodpanda continues to provide livelihood opportunities for folks who want flexible work while we  get to increase and enhance our delivery capabilities and better our customer experience for all."

He adds "These are 2000 Ka-Pandas and partner fleet members we've opened up as riders, bikers and even walkers. Different individuals who also have other careers and backgrounds. Some do this part time or also have other platforms. Others make this their primary source of income, but still give them lots of flexibility in work or work hours. We are so glad to have them onboard!"

In the event, they also have Rider Support Express to help with existing partners who may have a question, concern of two. They will be doing this in different cities via pandaPatrol: Hub on Wheels where they get to directly give help in different regions. They also get to give training sessions for those who recently joined and provide needed safety and delivery training. Some receive Bamboo Rewards and have them exchange it for foodpanda merch, a welcome perk aside from their insurance and health support for Ka-Panda partners.

Surely, there will be more of these soon in other areas. If you wish to know when and where, make sure to follow their social channels and download the app as everything will be announced there.

Congratulations foodpanda! Cheers to more opportunities for your Ka-Pandas from here on!

foodpanda Launches pandaPatrol Hub on Wheels!

Sunday, April 30, 2023

foodPanda is on a roll as they launch a new service that is meant to reach out to even more of their foodpanda Riders across the country. They call it pandaPatrol Hub on Wheels, huge bus that serves as a hub for legitimate panda Riders in hopes to entertain them (via lots of games), reward them (where you can use Bamboo points for foodpanda merch) and help them with any kind of foodpanda rider concerns they may have that can be answered right on the spot because their executives and officers will be there to talk to you in person as it has several seats to accommodate you inside the vehicle.

The event was hosted by a good ol friend of mine Papa Jackson (who's a real deal biker too) and a DJ of Energy FM. He made the evening quite fun. Aside from that, artist, singer and rapper Quest went on an inspiring barrage of songs that evening and also lauded foodpanda for making efforts in bringing services to their foodpanda riders. Some very talented foodpanda riders also performed on stage the official foodpanda song, they're quite talented that they are bringing them to different provinces to do the same.

The plan is to get this bus appear in different parts of the Philippines this coming June to make sure foodpanda Riders across the country would benefit from the prizes, the rewards and services that they have rolled out this year. Thank you foodpanda and hope to see more of these activations in major cities, provinces and far flung areas soon!

Congratulations on pandaPatrol Hub on Wheels!

The End to my ASUS X80N Nightmare

Friday, January 16, 2009

This is the first article that I'm writing in my new laptop computer. Thanks to my good friend MC for getting me this great deal. I had so many things in mind one day and I had extra money to buy myself a gift. I was choosing between purchasing a laptop computer and getting myself a Nikon Professional Camera. When I was thinking at that time, the opportunity just popped up in my phone. Was it fate? was it destiny? That is the question.

I was throwing myself in between purchasing a fancy one (which would probably be in a different color or shape) or maybe POWER with the classic black that everybody else has. As you can see I conformed to the normal people and maybe I'd regret this soon... but you know, I don't think I'll have problems like that soon.

I got this laptop yesterday and consequently I only had about an hour of sleep because of the logistics that went into purchasing this selfish gift. The deal was, it was not working right at first. Good thing another friend RJ stopped by and helped formatting the laptop since I didn't have software to do it myself when I could. It was impossible to squeeze in the effort for me to do that since I had tons of work at the office; and blogging has taken me a lil busy too. But that part was enjoyable. I didn't know I'd be having nightmares the day after. There was this annoying error in the Device Manager that haunted us for a few hours yesterday. The card was unrecognizable because it was denoted as an unknown device. I downloaded every damn driver there was at ASUS'S technical support site with that X80N model but as sure as everyone else, it did not work at all. If I wasn't too techie or bright I wouldn't have read and googled other blogs. One particular site of a young lady who had the same laptop that I had EXACTLY HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. So I did read her article and checked what she did differently that I didn't probably do. Good thing she was recommending one thing that was different in the ASUS knowledge base... she tried on an A8N driver model. WHAT?! All the hours and all the hardship I went through was all because ASUS did not indicate I had to use drivers of a different model! O_O Imagine that lip service they have all over their website. Now after all that nightmare, my laptop's working great. Thanks to http://pusangkalye.com/ I owe her BIGTIME! Thanks to RJAY too he did a lot! ^_^ Thank God for friends! ^_^
