Razon's by Glenn: In the Business of Serving "DELIGHT!"

Thursday, October 31, 2024

Filipino comfort food is always served at Razon's by Glenn. It's a company built with family - and love. Consequently, they're celebrating their 21st anniversary and are gunning to have 60 branches by years end. The chain is largely known for their Palabok, Halo Halo, Bibingmamon, Beef Tapa, Beef Kare Kare, and new innovations on the usual Filipino flare. Their menu stemmed from real Kapampangan heritage and flavors, so you don't get disappointed in what they serve.

The Beef Kare Kare is a bit sweet and can be eaten even without bagoong. The peanut sauce has home made peanut butter in it, which they made themselves. The Bibingmamon is available in 4 flavors namely Original (which I prefer), Cheesy Melt, Custard and Nutty Custard. The Beef Tapa is on the sweet, smoky, and spicy side, but quite tender. Their Fresh Lumpia is good and savory, it felt like what grandma used to make. They have a hefty serving of Pork Chop with gravy (my personal favorite served that afternoon). They also teased us with their conceptual Crispy Palabok, which I'm sure young ones and everyone would enjoy!

For those looking for something extra comforting, they've got Caldo Overload which you can ask for refills if you want more. You get the fuzzy feeling that comes with it on a rainy day.

Razon's by Glenn is third generation owned. Their grandma gave them freedom to be creative in recipes, hence the variations they made with the dishes.

Bibingmamon is quite nice, as the name says, it's a cross between the Christmasy Bibingka and the fluffy Mamon. This was quite delicate and perfect to pair with coffee.

Razon's by Glenn has always been regarded as the best spot for Halo Halo. This Special Halo Halo was quite satisfying despite it only having a few ingredients. I personally think it's the Macapuno that makes it different from the rest in the market.

We also got to talk to the owner and President Mark Anthony "Glenn" Razon. Right now, they have 36 branches operating nationwide, but aggressively plan to have 100 of these stores before 2030.

Glenn reiterated "We are not just selling products, we are providing delight!". This is the reason why people who visit their stores feel happy every time they get to taste the dishes coming out of their kitchen. It's also a family spot, so whether you're a Lola who wants their merienda fix or the cutest bunso that wants something sweet, Razon's by Glenn makes every moment special no matter what age group you belong.

Visit their stores nationwide, or if you prefer to be part of the movement, they are looking for franchisees. Just get in touch with them via their social channels or official website razonsbyglenn.com.

OMNI Marketing, CEITEX and GadFetcher

Tuesday, August 28, 2018

Had lunch with the folks from OMNI Channel Marketing Consultancy Inc, a business that does trad and digital marketing, ICT, franchising, leasing and activation activities in the country. They’ve been doing this with people who have spent 25 years in the industry, so if you’re a brand who wants people who know the business inside out, they’re a good candidate.

They also are the organizers of CEITEX (Consumer Electronics and Information Technology Expo) which will be held at the SMX Convention Center this November 2-4, 2018. They’ve been doing this to also partner with franchise businesses so they could sell their franchise too. Aside from that, they do this through GadFetcher, a pop up mobile phone, repair and accessory shop that does three simple things, fetch, send and repair.

Their vision is to help clients and make growth inevitable, this as their top tier service. As OMNI’s Marketing Executives says “We want to give the best for their business, resolve issues fast, to make each transaction a long term and effective business relationship. We make use of our vast network and key experts in the field.”

Congratulations OMNI Channel Marketing and their partner brands! Cheers!

Aiai Endorses Grainsmart

Wednesday, December 20, 2017

We met with gorgeous Ms. Aiai Delas Alas again as she endorses new rice retailer brand GRAINSMART who is a distributor and wholesaler of rice grains in the country. Ms. Eloisa Luistro says "It was actually easy for us to choose who our endorser would be, among the people that were presented to us, we trust Ms. Aiai. First and foremost, she's a mother, very caring and with the things people associate with, we knew she was a good match. We are rushing to actually now have her in collaterals like brochures, posters and perhaps some of our packaging because it's Christmas. She was just an easy and obvious choice because indeed, Moms trust her."

When we asked about their franchising business, she adds "The requirements are easy. You need to be 100 percent commited. We tell the truth, you will only succeed if you have time to manage the business and a good capital. You also need a buffer stock, a good location, even if it's not in the market. We have product training and lessons for marketing and management. At least 3-5 meters of space is needed too so you may need to shell out around 700k all in all for that which is a safe price."

You'll see them in your neighborhood very soon. The goal is to grow the current standing 200 stores to around 500 by next year. The thing is that they are not a middleman, from their sources in Isabela, Nueva Ecija and Bicol, they go straight to their warehouses and be distributed here in Banawe Quezon City. It's like a hub where all their deliveries come from in the metro. So this is the reason they keep their prices low.

Grain Smart will also be supplying grains for all of Ms Aiai's restaurants and they also have success stories of getting ROI's within 3-6 months, longer if you are not that enthusiastic to sell even if this is a normal commodity. Supplies must be also ordered 3 days in advanced, not when you are out of it.

For those who want to franchise, you may contact them via their social media accounts Facebook.com/grainsmart.ph or their website www.grainsmart.ph. You may also call them via 5137387 or 5122533. You may look for Eloisa Luistro for franchise inquiries 09330439942, 09157311168, 09202587608. Or email them at info@grainsmart.co. I'm thinking of investing too, you should try this if you are thinking of a good business.
