WENDELL RAMOS at the Launch of WenDeli Meatshop

Wednesday, February 01, 2023

He's got one of the most gorgeous faces in Philippine showbiz, has got a body of a Greek god and women adore him. He's no other than noted actor and hunk Wendell Ramos. He has been industry for a long time and has cemented himself in the comedy and drama genres and hasn't lost his good looks even after Fatherhood stepped in and brought equally gorgeous kids in this world too.

It was severely hard to work during the pandemic and a lot of actors and his friends have had to approach him and ask for money in those difficult times. He didn't want to plainly just give them money, but instead an opportunity to work for it. He saw his wife dropping off meat products sourced from friends to earn a living. If there's an advantage, Wendell knew he had the network to do this on a larger scale. So in 2020, he sought the expertise of iFranchise Business Services Corporation and Commissary Kitchen. This is when WenDeli Meat House was born.

Initially he just wanted to help a few friends, but the folks at iFranchise Business Services Corporation saw a huge potential with this business model and sought to expand this business to kababayans in other countries so they too could become dealers as well.

Here's our video coverage of the event:

Krizzia Ann Loyang the President and CEO of iFranchise says "Thank you for being here this evening. Almost 3 years ago, the world stopped and with iFranchise, it was my responsibility to move forward. We have a family and businesses to sustain. We all had struggles but we just have to believe. With WenDeli Meat House, we were able to give employment and give back to communities. Being an OFW, I personally saw how Wendell supported our efforts in different countries, we knew our business had a heart and has created an impact. Through this platform, it would hone and improve the lives of our fellow Filipinos and bring our products here and around the world. We want to let them reach their dreams. We know we still have a lot of places to go to, thank you for supporting us, Wendell's family, my family and the whole iFranchise organization."

Joel Pascual of Commissary Kitchen says "Tonight is a story of resiliency, one day a man called Wendell Ramos approached us in the kitchen to develop a line of products, and the rest is history. During the pandemic, this was a gamble. Tonight we are celebrating the new direction and business model together with the iFranchise family. From our kitchen, it is now going global. We recognize opportunities and now we are acting on it."

It's got a lot of inclusions like use of trade name, ambassador and marketing collaterals, freezers, initial products, training and support, recipes, brand and marketing support for resellers. Country Franchisees on the other hand get the same perks plus operational help, training assistance abroad, a minimal 10% royalty/partnership fee and an 8 year contract with the company. It has already changed the lives of a lot of his friends, his family and OFW's based in Dubai, Africa, Japan, Portugal and others. Titallennials Frozen Goodies

Wednesday, November 07, 2018

Mom is the best cook at home. No contest.

She's the queen, the kind that would whip up some good ol home cooking whenever, wherever and however our meals happen at the dinner table. She learned through life experiences and always made it a point to go home at the same time, so we can eat together almost everyday. Food bonds us all, hence our big pudgy family.

Just like you, I want to continue this tradition, but it's not always a good day for them to spend all day in the kitchen. They get "aged" but not old... and I don't want her to get tired. Now who do you call for help when this happens? Perhaps your LOLA? Or maybe your TITALLENNIALS?

This SME business made for and by Moms in their own right are now selling frozen items, dairy products and even teach you how to cook it. If you check out their Facebook Page here Facebook.com/Titallennials/, they have easy to follow recipes on videos so you don't really have to be a genius to do it yourself. Aside from that, they also put instructions on the label of the products they sell so it was a breeze for my relative who couldn't even boil an egg LOL!

The Pork Tocino was something I like too. It wasn't overly sweet, it won't get your kids to run around because of a rush. They probably spent a lot of time researching the recipes because this would cater to a more general market. They didn't have to make it extremes, they did it just right.

My Mom loved the Homemade Garlic Longganisa. It was just something good served on the 4th day for breakfast. It was garlicky but still sweet so it's like a mix of spiced and hamonado type of sausages. My Mom always looks forward to breaks like that, garlic rice and the longganisa plus a cup of sugar free coffee, she's good with that.

The Chicken Teriyaki was sweet and savory. I didn't even have to go out and dress up to be in a Japanese joint to have this. They deliver straight to your doorstep so just give them your details and enjoy the meal.

I love the Japanese Dumplings. I'm saying that because I felt and tasted like it was new even if it was already frozen when I got it. I simply put a rack on top of boiling water, waited for it to cook and got still firm wrappers and chinese restaurant like quality on the dumplings.

My personal favorite was the All Meat Franks. It had the right amount of spice, a little crispy-chewy outside but still juicy inside. I ate it as soon as it landed on the table, I dreamed about it the next day LOL!

Now if you want a treat like this in the comforts of your home, I'll post their pricelist on this article. You may order through their page which I mentioned earlier or their number 09209274177 and look for Anna Chan. Thing is, there are no minimum orders, you just have to pay for delivery. So if you want to save, order a lot!

I'm actually eyeing those dairy products next, Titallennials might actually save you and your family some trouble. Go call them quick!

Llaollao Yogurt Shop Opens at Trinoma

Friday, September 22, 2017

I've seen one of their branches at the back of Glorietta just before you go outside Landmark in Makati City. I was pretty much intrigued about what they were selling because most of the time they were covered in people, just like this one today. Apparently they've expanded and set up shop at Trinoma. This was a blogger friend's favorite and I didn't know why he kept on going to this Llaollao shop (pronounced Yao Yao) in Makati even if he was from the south because he says he really likes it. I bought one just for kicks and chose three different toppings. This is a Yogurt shop, but a bit different from the ones I tasted. This one was more tangy, one that would make you grimace a little, like a kick if this was chili. I guess that's why they've been very popular among Filipinos. I like it too.

Now since they've opened this branch in Trinoma, they also held a REALLY GOOD promo. They announced FREE SLUSHIE for every purchase of Php150 on any of their products. People started lining up as early as 5AM this morning, no joke. I wasn't really surprised though, they were so excited to get their hands on yogurt this good.

So I picked up a cup too. I was a little too shy because it was my first time doing this. Swirled my cup slowly, but the guy beside me (who was from Llaollao) was already panicking haha. I forgot to put more space on the sides for the toppings LOL. So I basically have a cup overflowing with Yogurt, and by my standards it wasn't that bad ah! Again, I loved how tangy their yogurt is and that evidently tasted like it.

Then I prepared space for the toppings, by pushing the frozen yogurt on the side to the center. I guess I have about a few centimeters more. So I got real fruits in the mix. I took grapes, mangoes, kiwis and 4 small chocolate coated peanuts (I think) and crushed grahams... which was so good. Ugh I wanted another cup, but had to cut down on sugar these days. If I didn't think about my diet I would have had 5 haha.

Tada! This is my very own cup!

I got my perfect cup made, I liked it a LOT. Now, it's time for you to experience it too. Go head on to Trinoma's second floor and look for the kiosk right after the escalator and you'll find them there. Fill up a cup with yogurt, get the toppings and experience it yourselves. See why people have been raving about this cup of good yogurt for years now. This ain't just a brand from Spain, it's something that Filipinos love now. I absolutely did.
