I've been in Singapore and Malaysiana couple of times and have seen how differently remarkable their countries are not just because of geographic locations, the people and culture, but the outstanding cuisine they have available in the nooks and crannies on the street. I felt how important it is for their citizenry to bond over food much like ours and how they get a whole color palette of ingredients, fresh produce and spices become an integral part of who they are as a country. The love it and live it.
When I started working out in Megamall a couple of months ago, I saw a whole line of shops covered with a tarp covered with the word MAKANSUTRA, a thing I've been seeing in Asian Food TV shows for years which means Food Guide based on Buddhist scriptures. TV Host and Restaurateur KF Seetoh dubbed this to pay homage to recipes from forefathers in the Asian Region. MAKANSUTRA is the first of it's kind in the country and the goal is to feature dishes from all over Singapore and the Asian region in one place, harnessing the skills of 80 Filipino chefs taught by Hawker food stall owners in Singapore so you can find authentic ones in the Philippines when this restaurant opens it's doors.
Seetoh adds "There's no place like SM Megamall other than SM MOA. There ia no other place in the world where you can find a crowd that appreciates fast, casual, delicious and affordable food like what you'll see in MAKANSUTRA."
Come experience SINGAPORE hawker style cooking and a lot more Asian dishes at the 2nd floor of SM MEGAMALL Building A and get the best of what MAKANSUTRA has to offer. You get world class dishes at value for money prices and it's all right at the heart of Mandaluyong City.
