US President Barack Obama : YES WE CAN!

President Barack Obama and Vice President elect Joe Biden
Photos by AP and CNN

See the blue states here that went all the way for President Barack Obama in the elections, no wonder he overwhelmingly won the elections! I was a skeptic this morning because when I was running on my treadmill, there were about 3 states being counted and it was showing McCain on the lead. I together with about 6 CNN anchors were asking "we never saw it this close". Then again, when I went home and had my bowl of oatmeal the results from other states came in and NEVER did I see McCain lead again. The CNN reporters even did analyze known Republican states were swinging to Obama at that time.

Since he already passed 270 (the magic number you need to win) they went ahead and celebrated in Chicago. There were about 125,00 supporters that frolicked a slightly cold evening in the windy city. Even Rev. Jessie Jackson was there to celebrate. Though the mood was ecstatic, when the speech came... it looked like Obama was calming everyone down instead of celebrating... I thought about that too... peoples expectations might have been a little too high. They need everyone's help in working for that "CHANGE" he promised in day 1 of his campaigns. I just wished he also mentioned Asia... I never heard him mention it in any of his speeches... to think he's even from Indonesia you know?! and btw, his middle name is Hussein I think... =/

Obama wins by a large margin, he only needed 270 to win but it looks like a whopping 338 here! ^_^ He is the first African American President of the United States of America

It's JUDGEMENT DAY! The US Elections 2008

Obama votes early (an hour and a half ago while I was making this post) and we all hope he gets the worm Lol

Today is the US elections where everyone is watching who will win the seat for the most big boned influential country in the world. I am still rooting for Obama, but McCain was pushing for an upset when I watched his political campaigns yesterday in CNN. Yeah I know I was busy trying to get some sleep because I had about 5 hours only that day. I still managed to get on the tube and listen to their last strategies on states that are undecided. McCain went for those states but Obama on the other hand went onto those that are known republican territories. A new strategy huh?!

Not only that, Obama was tired I think and called that place a different one... I guess fatigue and traveling different counties in the last 48 hours have caught up to him. I hope after he votes today he just sits back at home and relax, then just wait for the results which would probably be counted in a few hours.

By the way, there are some that say Obama should have gone to the funeral of Jennifer Hudson's family. Yeah she's from the same City that Obama resides, tough they probably have understood the campaign is at its end and I mean why should he go there if Oprah and the rest of Hollywood already are there. Early data already indicates Obama winning but there are some undecided states they still have to battle for. You need 270 to win the election and I suppose every poll say Obama has the upper hand. Here's a non official forecast:

I'm sure if he had the chance he would have come. Goodluck in Florida! ^_^

LAST WEEK BEFORE THE US ELECTIONS

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Last call for the last week!
The disgruntled faces seen here are from donkeydish.com ^_^

I and countless people around the world awaits Uncle Sam to decide who'll win in the up coming elections. The impact of votes by Americans will greatly affect the economical and political conditions around the globe. The issue over economy has been deliberated over and over again and I'm not discounting the fact that this is really a BIG thing to be concerned with... though there are other ones that should have been dealt with so these repercussion and preposterous results do not happen. Large percentages are already lost and they should have invested more time in business confidence rather than bailing out banks. I think people really didn't know how this started... but really because of a few greedy people (which comprised of board members of these banks) that had GIGANTIC amounts of bonuses and living "la vida loca" today, the whole economy of the US is at stake. They earned a lot but since the credit and lending became too volatile when they left it, a recession is about to occur. This is what is at the drawing table both on McCain and Obama's camps... if a miracle happened, then this would not be a problem anymore for millions who invested in the US economy.

Seems to me that Obama is leading. Last time I read the news, almost 8 states that were originally solid for Bush went to the side of Obama. This is a huge mistake on McCain for not maintaining these states where electorates were even high. I'm so sorry but I think Obama is gonna be the first black president. You can probably quote me on this a day before if the double digit lead doesn't change lolz! McCain still however has a week left to change these undecided votes to his camp.. but did you see the CNN debate where Obama still fared better among neutral voters at that time? Most probably, it won't be a showdown on the 4th of November. It would be a massacre!

DANCE IT OFF! ^_^
