Blogopolis Into The Wild: Creating A Compelling Blog by Googly Gooeys

Saturday, November 16, 2013

I haven't seen their blog honestly but I must say I am impressed with blog tandem Googly Gooeys. Their readership actually spans 50% worldwide and they are showing us how to pitch our blogs to advertisers. Making social media kits is a start.

Analytics and statistics is important. Now they have a picture of who reads their blog. Things like these can be offered to your advertisers. They create cute posts that are quite engaging, interaction is key too aside from the usual content.

Cult blogs are not that big but if you get exposed with that as well, then its genius!  You have to build your brand in a way where they will also follow you in social media. When you have posts in Facebook you have to also consider interactions. If it gets shared, liked and how many individuals have seen it says the Googley Gooeys authors.

Your media kit show your style and point of view so the advertisers understand your blog. Bank on your blog and always make it unique.

I'll probably work on mine hehe :)

Blogopolis Into The Wild: Jim Paredes and The new nation 2.0

Jim Paredes whom I met in the Kota Kinabalu trip a few months ago is now talking about The New Nation. He's comparing a lot of things from the past and telling us a little about doing morse code and smoke signals online.

How traditional media use bloggers now is unprecedented. Finding connections with people is good change, he even made a sample on how he's going to ship 600 tons of relief for Yolanda victims.

Without it, it would have been harder. If you are going to expose yourself to the world, do it the right way. You must have the bigness of heart when you're wrong. That's the best way to solve it on social media. I agree, that's awesome.

Updates later peeps! Live blogging in blogopolis!

Blogopolis Into The Wild: Blink

Blink a new platform for streaming movies, tv, live events and whatnot can now be purchased online theough BLINK.

There were a few glitches on her presentation but i think that's understandable. Wifi connection here isn't that stable. For what its worth, the service is quite cheap if you compare it to cable special screenings and on top of that you'll have more of hollywood since they literally get movies from these companies around three months after the actual release. Isn't that amazing?

Well, I have yet to deal with my own bandwidth I guess before I seriously consider doing this. I may be tempted to get this connected to my HD tv, do they have trials? I must ask!

More updates of blogopolis in a bit! :)
