Maybe a Prayer Would Do
Wednesday, February 10, 2010
I have a friend and colleague that I recommended to work. I hope he performs quite well tomorrow when he tries it out for an interview. The post is in operations so there is kind of a prejudice in making it since he has experience from other call centers already, which he probably passed with flying colors. I know he can do it since he kind of was not just average but near great when we were in high school, yes ladies and germs he was my classmate then.
Surprise surprise it seems that I am getting still connected to these guys even if I kinda shyed away a few months or years ago, I don't know why but it is the right thing to do. I hope to still reconnect and fix things with them but not that much. Well you still hope for the best really in this day and age. I want to be as civil as I want to and yes I still love those guys even if I felt offended once, I probably just do not know what to do now.
I am just hoping for the best and expect nothing in return, at least I am helping them already which is the first thing that went on my mind when I started all of these things. Let everything fall into place please! Thank you God!
She Needs Prayers
Friday, July 03, 2009
I just watched SNN this evening and Kris Aquino just mentioned something about the former President Corazon Aquino. She seems to be not recovering that fast with her chemo sessions. She was just recently rushed to the hospital because of her loss of appetite. This has been the second day masses and novenas were done for her speedy recovery. All her friends and family pitched in.
There is nothing more memorable than her in the People Power revolt in 1986. It was one thing that she contributed, the democracy in the Philippines. Although, the economy suffered much in her time because of the other people who took advantage of her, she is still an icon here and elsewhere in the globe. It would be really sad to see her suffer amidst the death of other famous people like Michael Jackson and Farah Fawcette.
Among those that attended the mass were former President Estrada along with Dr. Loi Ejercito, Jackie Ejercito-Lopez and Senador Jinggoy Estrada. Deedee Sytangco, her spokesperson said Mrs. Aquino is in a 'stable' and 'conscious' condition while she refuses to undergo needed chemotherapy.
She was transferred from the ICU of Makati Medical Center, to her residence in Quezon City. Malacanang has also formally asked the public prayers for Mrs. Aquino. Kristie Kenney also prays for her speedy recovery. She said wonderful things about her and know how big role she played in forming the Philippine democracy.
