Atty. Mel Sta. Maria, Arnel Ignacio and Gelli De Belen for TV5's "Solved na Solved"

It started this Monday, January 19 and will be shown all weekdays at 11:30AM, Solved na Solved will be your partner before lunch as Arnel Ignacio, Atty. Mel Sta. Maria and Gelli De Belen try to solve your problems from A to Z in a legal, practical way. It's a touch of courtroom drama, comedy show, and a little Jerry Springer show thrown in the mix. Gelli has been known to have made waves moderating in previous shows, Arnel also got us laughing for years and Atty. Mel Sta. Maria has given us no nonsense practical advise when it comes to taking people off the hook. It's either they follow his advice, or he shows how they'd get in trouble. It's all new this January and they're taking the the town by storm. No small problems, no small conflicts, no big ones too. They're all going to show you no frozen wastelands but more of how to keep sanity in this megalomania of a place we call Manila.

What If?

You are reading this right now because you are free. When you came into this world you are as helpless as a fish out of the ocean. You parents take care of you, sent to the best schools that they can afford so you can finish... get a job and do the same thing for your own family too. The family is the smallest unit of a community. Everyone deserves to have one of their own and this is a right that the state protects; but let me ask you this question... what if you found out that the child you're going to have has defects and would not survive after birth? What if you found out that the thing that made them to be in that state was supposed to help the mother in depression? Wouldn't it be just right to file a birth defects lawsuit against the people who didn't tell you about the dangers of taking it? That's the dilemma hundreds of people are facing now. It is going to be a tough life now that this happened to them but they need help to be informed and be given what's due them.

If one of your family members took DEPAKOTE, LEXAPRO, PAXIL, PROZAC, TOPAMAX or ZOLOFT in the past... they must have fell victim to the ill side effects of these medicines. Please stay informed! Make sure you make them aware of the dangers of taking it because you'll never know... the next one could be your loved ones!

It Can Happen To You!

Health IS wealth. I have seen a number of people take that for granted; and most of the time it is too late. Smoking, drinking and bad vices are some of the major causes of these illnesses. I don't want to see anybody in my family suffer this fate. There are those who actually don't know how or why they became ill. This is clearly not their fault. Have you heard of ZOLOFT?! It was earlier used for people who were under major depression, OC and anxiety disorders but was later found out to have caused dangerous side effects like suicidal tendencies, violent behaviors among others that have yet to be seen. There is also the existing zoloft lawsuit against the manufacturer because they clearly have not disclosed anything early on. I wouldn't want to see something that was promised to cure several psychological problems only to have them in a more harmful state because they took something that promised heaven and earth. Medicine that has not been tested or proven effective should have at least provided fair warning. These side effects are NO JOKE! We are after all dealing with lives here!

If there are some things that people might think would have caused great damage to their lives because of taking this... I definitely agree that they should be reprimanded. How can someone measure what your life is worth? I know there would never be an equivalent amount of money that can repay the trouble and problems these side effects bring but in some way, somehow it would be better to have them try and get them to live normal lives. I wish that for anyone who would suffer the same fate. Life is precious and if ever someone I know goes through this, I'll support them all the way!
