PayMaya is Gone.... Meet MAYA

Saturday, May 07, 2022

When I head the news that the iconic PayMaya bird would be gone, I admit... I was a little sad when I heard that. It's very iconic, but as they say in the industry... change is inevitable.

Gone are the days of digital wallets being just a wallet to send and receive money... or pay bills. These days, people need an all in one place to do ALL their transactions. To change the way you do things, this is where MAYA comes in.

MAYA is cooler, sleeker, and a whole lot different from its predecessor. The tagline that stuck to me was "It's everything, and a bank!" which you can download off the App Store and Google Play. The difference now is that aside from sending and receiving money, paying bills, is that you can purchase crypto currency for as low as Php 1.

There's also MAYA Savings wherein you can deposit money and get up to 6% introductory interest til August 31st this year. I already some of my funds transferred because of it and you don't have to spend fees in transferring from your wallet to the savings account. The third section in the app is Maya Credit where you can borrow money as much as Php 15,000. You can use this for paying your bills, essentials in your supermarket, buy load or another smartphone. If you want to buy Crypto, just click on they Maya Crypto option on the wallet section and just agree on the prompts indicated there. You need upgraded status to access Maya Bank and Maya Crypto so make sure to have yourself verified through that. You won't see the word PayMaya but the Maya Wallet can do everything that it did in the past.

My first purchase of Crypto from them was Ethereum, it was just a normal transaction and I immediately got the notification that the purchase was successful. If it was this easy and I didn't have to file any paper or form, I'm sure everyone would find it that easy too.

If you haven't seen the changes yet on your app, go download the update now and hurry, take advantage of that 6% interest rate because it's super high for bank standards. They're one of the few who got permission from BSP to be a digital bank. It would be foolish if you didn't do that. Oh and may I say, they've got 3 Million Pesos worth of bitcoin up for grabs if you follow their promos. I can't tell you everything because you'll be battling with me for that, haha!

You've got to beat me to it!

Help a friend with PayMaya

Tuesday, September 08, 2020

These days it’s been really hard to move especially when there’s quarantine protocols to follow and the pandemic shows no signs of slowing down. It’s dangerous outside and social distancing has only been the proven way of stopping this, a real bummer huh?!

Now I know most of you have friends and family. Sometimes you feel that they need help, but most of them don’t ask outright because they’re really too shy to do so. I’ve been doing this in my capacity, not that much but I hope in some way or form, it could actually help. If you haven’t used PayMaya all these years, you might want to do that now. The app is pretty handy in sending money to other PayMaya users, and I’ve received payments with it too. Some don’t actually know PayMaya can send to bank accounts via Instapay and Smart Padala agents which is available nationwide. It also has the ability to send money to PeraHub branches (all 3,000+ of them) so even if they don’t have a PayMaya account, they can simply receive it that way.

The PeraHub branch just needs you to fill out a transaction slip, a valid ID and a small fee for the transaction. Recipients will get a text message which contains the reference number and voila! That’s as easy as that to transfer funds now. What that means is that they can simply go to a PeraHub branch near them to get the funds, to at least get a little help from you. A little something to show you care.

That’s priceless.

Century Tuna Superbods 2014: The Send Off Party!

Monday, April 07, 2014

It was a night of great bodies, great assets both inside and out. We were all there as we celebrated with Century Tuna and the champions of their own journeys, a proper send off party for the finalists of Century Tuna Superbods 2014 was on call. They came out from back stage flaunting their bodies; all of which they have worked so hard to achieve these past few months. I listened in on their criteria and they have put emphasis not just on physical attributes, but the whole journey on how they got there.

This year's finalists are Darlene Anderson, Diane Tan, Grace Murillo, Alaiza Malinao, Catherine Almirante, Michelle Magno, Nic Marable, Paula Marciano, Sara Santucci and Nicole Kaufmann. Surprisingly, they are from different regions in the Philippines. Century Tuna Executives said they are so glad at the turnout because they wanted the whole country to be represented well in this search.

I specifically like this lady (on the left) who's journey of being over 200+ pounds before and now to this shape where she can wear anything with confidence. Her story is amazing and I already voted for her after purchasing a specially marked can of Century Tuna (where you'll get your codes from)! If you want to do the same, please go to this link and vote for your favorites!

Then we were also able to see the men who also joined Century Tuna Superbods!
