MARIAN RIVERA and Girl Bosses Headline SM Supermalls and TikTok Shop's "She Leads: Fun Beyond Shopping" Event

Spent the weekend at SM Mall of Asia a few days ago to see "She Leads: Fun Beyond Shopping", an event organized by SM Supermalls and TikTok Shop. This happened at the mall's Main Atrium and as expected, there were TONS of people who appeared, partly for Marian Rivera, and also several girl bosses who brought their business along so people could get to know their success stories.

 

See, success didn't come overnight for most of them. They really had to do the legwork of knowing their market, learning the ropes, and looking for avenues where business could thrive in. This partnership means TikTok Shops and SM's platforms can now be accessed easily online so you can do more. It's WOMEN led brands after all that make a huge chunk of businesses in TikTok Shops and in real life retail. We saw Sip2Glow, Tapies, Gorgeous Glow, Azul, Huga, Mikana, HB Jewelry, Dood PH, Perfume Dessert, Pina Beauty PH, Urban Scent, Tiny Buds and Wise Cleaner. They were there in 3 separate days and shared not only success stories, but their actual business to other hoping entrepreneurs who would really be good at it. It was a chance to learn, which I loved because they gave a lot of people a chance to also earn, rather than just selling per se. People also got a lot of deals with SM Malls Online, the app is definitely better and can be easily downloaded on Google Play and the App Store. Some put out 50 percent off, 10 percent off SM Malls Online and their TikTok Shops.

LAZADA Introduces CHOICE with SARAH GERONIMO

 

You've probably come across that fun jingle and commercial where Sarah Geronimo informs you about CHOICE on LAZADA. The leading online shopping platform to a colorful event at Studio 300 in Makati City.

But really, what is CHOICE? It's new channel, a place where you can pick 3 items on the list and pay for it for only 99 pesos. If you're looking for a deal or just want something to give your friends, family or even officemates for the holidays, wouldn't this be a great idea?

Tons of people were there, including LazAffiliates, influencers, bloggers to enjoy the afternoon. They had several games, billiards and bowling lanes reserved so we could throw a ball or two for fun. Then they had us choose 3 items on a section where people usually would pay a huge amount, and because it's on CHOICE, these best sellers only cost 99 on a normal day. This only happens on Lazada, and nothing on that.

Shop at Puregold and Help Raise Funds for Communities

Your usual grocery shopping at Puregold has just got more meaning now as availing their new anniversary promos now help fund their community outreach programs. In September, they did Puregold Panalo Cup wherein shoppers got to purchase limited edition cups with endorsers TVJ on it. Proceeds went to Hospicio de San Jose which is a place for orphans, abandoned kids and for the elderly. They also put it to basic needs, educational supplies, making the contribution of Puregold customers a huge part of this.

Puregold Price Club Inc. President Vincent Co says "We have been able to do this for years and now we have our shoppers not only get good value for money products but share with those who need it most. We need positive changes and this collaboration with shoppers would be good for short and long term goals, and our efforts."

As part of Puregold's anniversary celebrations, they also got Visar Society to do custom tote bags for the benefit of La Mesa Watershed where SB19 Justin de Dios designed "People of Puregold", to signify the help that the Puregold community was able to bring. It was sold late September, but will be available again around October 16 to 26. It'll be good especially for fans of the group, and those who genuinely want to help (costs Php 125 if you get Php 1500 worth of groceries and Php 200 anniversary items). La Mesa Watershed Reservoir needs a lot of trees and its species.

There will also be a raffle draw happening on October 8 where Puregold will choose winners that will be sent to Hong Kong (10 winners), gadgets (20 winners), Hakot with the Stars/grocery run (20 winners), and Sari Sari Store showcase for 50 people. The second wave of winners will be announced on October 27 to November 5. You can get coupons every Php 2000 groceries you purchase (only 3 per transaction though!).
