PH Based LM Skin Care and Cosmetics Forges Partnership with VEGA Natural of Thailand

Thought I could share a bit of a story about two, true empowered women that we have witnessed a couple days ago.

At the posh Hilaya restaurant of NUWA Hotel City of Dreams in Paranaque City, two huge corporations LM Make Up and Skin Care (a subsidiary of Chrizmarie Builders and Construction Supply from the Philippines) and VEGA Natural Thailand finally signed their partnership agreement to produce skincare products designed for the Filipino consumer this 2025.

The event was graced by Madam Lyn Macanas, the is the CEO of Chrizmarie Builders and Construction Supply and LM Make Up and Skincare Corp, Mr. Phrathonmsak Techavetcharoen and Madam Kwan Wannathong the President and CEO respectively of VEGA Natural Thailand. 

Ms. Lyn says "I used to walk 9 kilometers to go to school, I also work in the farm, tend to animals, but I needed to do it to survive. Because I didn't have a mother, I was given to strangers, and try to still study even if abuse was there. I had to work hard in Samar, just to have lunch, I used to get fruits from a tree. Then I told myself, time will come that I will succeed. Then I went to college by riding trucks, had to be with other folks and sell cookware, so I can have money for my tuition fees. I got to finish college, and I thought it was going to be okay after that. I went abroad as an OFW, still struggled, I think I only succeeded when I started as a liaison officer in a construction company. I had to learn the ropes, Madam Lyn only wished to survive, after having a successful construction company, and now we are venturing into cosmetics. This is something that I wanted because I have daughters, you can achieve this by focusing, praying for it, and I think everything will fall into place. What keeps me inspired is the hardships that I went through, I had to do it for my family. I only dreamed of this, and she comes from a very humble beginnings too (referring to Madam Kwan), she used to sell fish balls in streets of Bangkok, and I was touched knowing that we both came from very humble beginnings. All organic, skincare utilizing French and Spanish technology will now be within reach for the Philippines and the region." 

 

 

Madam Kwan the CEO of Vega Cosmetics says "I lived on a dream, I thought of how to make it come true. I built my business in manufacturing cosmetics, and partner with clients to work with them along the way. In the beginning we talked in Thailand and I could feel how strong her energy was. She went to our factory and saw how she took care of the people around her, same with what we have in Thailand. It touched my heart seeing that, and when we talked, I felt she was so good inside and out. It's the opportunity that we are also waiting for, and our families met, we could feel how they took care of us, working together, we will bring the best products here and elsewhere in the world. We will succeed together!"

Their families also joined them in celebration of this feat. They were seated on tables nearby and was very vocal about supporting each other.

Madam Kwan and Madam Lyn only met over dinner and this happened. This is fate, and we can't wait to see them succeed even further. Their individual stories were certainly so inspiring, and their pursuit for something deeper, more significant to do, because they are the ones who did the hard work, they deserve it. Here's hoping even more people get to hear and learn about their stories, and become successful like them too.

CHIE FILOMENO is the Face of SkeenCare

Looks like Chie Filomeno is on a roll as she had us excited during the Glam and Glow event of SkeenCare, a new brand of personal care essentials founded in 2019.

Their story is so inspiring. Imagine starting with a 10K capital, venturing into reselling, then later having their own brand appearing in various online platforms. With the arrival of their premier peeling lotion, it catapulted them in the forefront of the beauty and wellness industry.

Aside from their peeling lotion, their current line of products include Sunscreen Creams, Lotions, (NEW!) Rejuvenating and Maintenance Sets, Healing Balms, Soaps, Deo Mist, Feminine Wash and Underarm Cream.

Chie says "With this new endorsement, I have no words but am extremely thankful for the trust. I know their story and about where they started. To be able to go through challenges and championing over it, they are now a force to be reckoned with in the beauty and wellness industry. They have given me a platform, us, to share what we can offer. I am also thankful to be part of their milestone as they celebrate their anniversary."

 

To take care of her skin, she shares the importance of removing makeup before you sleep because that's where the problem starts. She has a simple process, just cleansing, prepping the skin with toners, moisturizers for a youthful glow, and then removing make up at the end of the day.    

Also at the event was SkeenCare COO Lei Langamin and their CEO Nars Cabellero. Ms. Nars was a bit emotional and said "I know I'm not the perfect CEO, I do have shortcomings. I'm glad that even though we experience hardships in the company, you still believe how we all could work out things. Know that I come from a place of making sure you our partners, and the company would benefit both ways. This is al; for our success. This is me out of my comfort zone. I don't usually talk in front of audiences. You are the reason why I got my Dad to Japan, he mentioned how thankful he was of just being there. You are the reason why we are achieving our dreams, which is why we pushed for this anniversary celebration to happen. This is one way to thank you all!"

Behind the tears, the excitement of having a new endorser, this once small business is now flourishing. They also have new products launched which would make sure you get to maintain the good things you've done to your skin. The Rejuvenating and Maintenance Sets would certainly be a good skinvestment and  hope to help a lot of people. They will make sure it remains affordable and effective for years to come.

Showcasing Hard Work and Brilliance: The Brilliant Awards 2023

Just got off the Brilliant Awards 2023, The Brightest of All Time. Brilliant Skin Inc. holds events like these annually to honor the regional leaders, franchisees, distributors of their cosmetic products in the country. Clad in their most gorgeous white and pink shimmering outfits, they were all welcomed at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre in Pasay City by Brilliant Skin CEO Glenda Dela Cruz.

Ms. Glenda says "This night is all for you, I know there are a lot of people who came from the Cordilleras, Region 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, Bangsamoro and NCR. You are the ones who are really brilliant."

She adds "We have been able to weather through the challenges of 2023. We had fears, uncertainty, and I thought everything would be gone. I learned to be grateful, and to tell you honestly, I'm a better version now. My life is an open book now, I let go of people that I loved and accepted it even though it was difficult. We made waves when we started our Pinakamakinang events in Araneta, and now we are in Malaysia with our TikTok shop, and with our online platform in countries like Dubai (UAE), Malaysia, and soon in Singapore. We did this because of you. We continue to work hard, and I hope this goes the same with all of you. This proves that no matter what they say, you stand behind me all the way. I won't be wasting your trust. I thank God for saving me so many times, and he has done so much for me."

 

After personally thanking the "Brilliants", a term she coined for those who support her, she began showing her gratitude with the tons of celebrity performers she prepared for them. With the likes of Mariel Padilla and Luis Manzano as their hosts, model and actor Daniel Matsunaga, song and dance numbers from international stars 4th Impact and talk of the town Andrea Brillantes, everyone was just so glad to be in the midst of their endorsers who went there to just perform for them. Add to that singers JK Labajo, Kyle Echarri, Jason Dy, good looking actor Paulo Avelino, our golden boy Alden Richards, rock phenom Kean Cipriano and KZ Tandingan brought the house down as each of the winners were announced on stage. It was really nice to see how the crowd reacted when people from their own region was called, and how proud they really are.

Ms. Glenda was so thankful that despite her recent health challenges, they were all able to gather in one place so she could personally spend time with them, to take photos, talk and thank them for the hard work they put in for Brilliant Skin.
