Yellow Cab Says... So Worth It!

Tuesday, January 08, 2019

Finally got out of the cave even if I’m not totally okay yet, but I felt I just had to try. I might need physical therapy because of it but I’m trying to live as normal as I can. Now since this event is open to the public, I wondered how this will happen because the promise is.... FREE PIZZA, FREE BEER and FREE CONCERT! When the crowd heard about it, they went to Eastwood in a jiffy because, who doesn’t love FREE stuff right?

Yellow Cab has always been a staple at parties, special occasions and even regular office meetings. I couldn’t even tell you how much New York’s Finest or Dear Darla slices I’ve had for years, or even how many kilograms of Charlie Chan pasta we’ve had because it has remained our favorite from this brand.

During the event, they got us to sign a paper. People drew stuff, I got to put words on mine and said my piece on how to make our moment there worth it. People had the concensus of making PIZZA part of it. They started the party with DJ’s on stage who pretty much played everything on my personal Spotify playlist lol. It was good to see people lining up because I knew they were excited for the hot fresh pizza from Yellow Cab that evening.

This was the booth we all lined up at, the beer was also Heineken, pretty cool. I took time to hear indie performers, then Ben and Ben towards the end of the show. Although I’m not a fan, they did pretty good music!

All the pizzas were hot because they had this huge SO WORTH IT truck beside the venue. I guess they do know how to do pizza. Anyway, I’d like to thank Yellow Cab and hope this would be a yearly thing. More bands next year yeah?

Me recovering, happy with the crowd I was with and this party. Priceless!

ALERT: Yellow Cab UNLIPIZZA on February 8

Thursday, February 01, 2018

Spent lunchtime at the Yellow Cab branch at the Ayala Malls 30th in Mandaluyong City. It’s been a while since I’ve been here. Honestly, I didn’t go to the pizza chain in the past few years because some of their people did something during the election period and I didn’t like that. Anyway, I guess it’s time to move on and celebrate with a few people from the blogosphere. What better way to do that but by eating tons of pizzas in this store.

Did you know World Pizza Day is coming? Well Yellow Cab apparently thought one day wasn’t enough for a celebration so they did the best thing ever and stretched the festivities for a week and called it World Pizza Week. The good news isn’t about to run out because Yellow Cab is looking for the hungriest man in the Philippines. They are bringing back their #UNLIPIZZA promo on February 8. That’s from 12:00AM to 11:59PM on that day where you can eat all the New York’s Finest and 4 Cheese Pizza you can devour plus free flowing Mountain Dew for only Php 299.

If that wasn’t enough, there will also be different BUY 2 TAKE 2 promos on February 4-10 (different flavors each day!) which is valid for dine in, take out and delivery transactions. Now isn’t this a nice day for a party? You have to take note though that you can do this in all branches except Kidzania Manila, NAIA, MOA Arena, Brent and Camaya. Everywhere else is fair game.

In the UNLIPIZZA day, you can also try and beat the current record of 32 slices. I tried it myself but because of Keto I only managed to eat 13, my stomach probably shrinked somewhere. I love that the pizza was hot off the oven though, it just is better that way.

So don’t miss WORLD PIZZA WEEK celebrations with Yellow Cab Philippines! This is the best deal yet!

You know the dates so don’t miss it!

Yellow Cab x Challenge Philippines - Camarines Sur

Sunday, August 03, 2014

David Voth CEO of Leverage Sports Asia

A few days ago, we were in 55 Events Place in Quezon City to witness a special meeting of the minds. Three parties, people from Leverage Sports Asia, the governor's office of Camarines Sur and the well loved pizza brand Yellow Cab. They are putting up one of the biggest races ever done in the Philippines and it's going to happen next year, on June 14.

They've already done it in Subic last February and they found that one of the best challenges ever, now they are going to have a fast one, something where they could set their personal best as described by the race organizers. From beginners to pros, they'll have them all going to Camarines Sur's location next year.

Governor Miguel Villafuerte of Camarines Sur
The youngest Governor that I've ever seen I guess, he's Governor Miguel Villafuerte of CamSur. He's proud to say that the province, although they were hit by the recent big typhoon were able to get everything on course in order to host the race next year. They have even  made arrangements for the accommodations, putting up an Olympic like village to cater to athletes and their families which is one of their goals. Presenting the Philippines through their province is a step up, as they show the super nice sports and adventure centered province especially the track for this race and the extremely popular wake park.

Governor Elray Villafuerte, former governor and Dad of Miguel
Former Governor Elray Villafuerte says they are proud to host this and the Triathlon which will happen next year. This will surely gain a lot of exposure to their humble province, boost tourism and get to have people interested in their history as well. It's like a win win situation.

Roy Quejada, CEO of  Yellow Cab Pizza Co.
Roy Quejada, Yellow Cab Philippines' CEO says the reason why they sponsored this even is because they share the same values and they fit perfectly with the goals and aspirations of these athletes. The partnership will also be forged in the next three years and they've helped a lot of sponsored athletes with their fares since doing triathlons would require you to tour around the world. That is a BIG help no matter where you put it.

Julian Paolo Tayag, Director of Hubble Multisport Inc.
Julian Paolo Tayag of Hubble Multisport Inc. says they are also making sure to roll back the entry prices so that a lot of local and international athletes can participate in the event. The Philippines has the warmest people and they will witness a spectacle of 729 athletes hailing from 38 countries that will include celebrities, royalties and even a real deal world champion in the person of Aussie Michael Murphy. Isn't that great?!

Registrants will also have a chance to win a trip to Roth, Germany by entering the contest here. They will be holding the Challenge Roth race there intended for athletes and their families. If that doesn't make you want to join your first triathlon, we don't know what will. This "Fastest Course in Asia" located in Camarines Sur will surely get everyone's Personal Best to it's peak. Make sure you check out the channels below to know when registration starts.

Congratulations to everyone organizing this event. We can't wait to see how this turns out. I hope I can cover this, I haven't been in CamSur actually. Wouldn't it be nice to get lost there in Challenge CamSur? Haha!
