Healthy Meals to get Buff Part II
Monday, August 04, 2008
Well what happened? After a year and a few months of working out at Fitness First I have seen minimal improvement on my sculptured German physique.Yeah my arms got bigger, but I got heavier I think. I did not check my weight since time in memorial so that's that. I need a new plan for this year and believe me I'm gonna stick to it like glue!
I need to trim down a bit. I'm tall already so that's just given, but I need a built chest and need to have ABS instead of just an AB. (lolz) Planning my meals would also be in the works. This will be a high protein low carb diet since I dont want to starve myself of course! Oh and a lot of fiber as well... maybe all oats for me! Its also gonna be pretty hard sinice I think I'm gonna be working out alone most of the time since my gym bud Robbie's gonna be out of the country soon... ^_^
I'm getting a nutritionist involved and also a Fitness trainor maybe (that's if I can afford it!) so I can get serious over this. I better hurry coz I'm frantically running out of time. So many girls in so little time ye know! hahahah! Peace pancakes! ^_^
I mean, men nowadays would probably find it hard to perform if they stay on the heavy side. People just make plans how to do it I guess so nothing would stand in the way. I saw this guy once in Jerry Springer, and HE WAS HUGE!!! and he did not have plans to get thinner... well, after that episode, or a couple of episodes after that, they said he died. That is so scary huh? This other guy I watched in the news this evening (or was that oprah?) had a GUINESS WORLD RECORD for being the world's heaviest man. He planned to lose it though, and you know what he did it for? Two things: the first is because he feared that he will have symptoms of diseases that Obese people had and two: was for his girlfriend....YES LADIES AND GENTLEMEN he has one! and dont you find it romantic that it happened? ^_^ I know I do!
So watch out for my struggles to get thinner and have bigger guns soon! Let me workout! workout! workout! Phew!
Oh btw here he is...just saw this on the archives!

Of course I've never been so proud of my hardworking University of the East Red Warriors!
They won 68-62 to win in Saturday’s University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) men’s basketball game at the Araneta Coliseum. A lot of players got injured here and there but the place was jampacked with screaming Red Tribes as they get a notch higer in the last few games of the first round.
Go punish everyone in the Second Round! WRAAAAH!!!!!

Something like it's child Linksys; Something More: A Cisco Certification!
Wednesday, July 30, 2008
I am not as naive as you think when it comes to my work and how I plan to pursue bigger things in my career, paths taken here and there would not materialize with any corporation that I plan to work with in the future. If the proper certification does not take place and with a very reputable company, I'd probably end up in Row 4...just a few steps after the garbage bin. Now here's a little story how I somewhat changed my life... a turn around of events.
I started a couple of Modules while studying in my University was not far fetched; this was always going to be a part of my career path. I worked in the IT field for several years. Mind you, almost all the high paying jobs applied for required you nowadays and most when I was applying had to have Cisco certification
This is just under their belt. Sometimes, it even has its specialization on specific technologies such as security, IP telephony, and wireless. I am not a stranger to that of course coz since day 1 of my Linksys/Cisco work the jargons were like staple food. Data Communications even on my Electronics and Communications major subjects came into reality in this specific filed I entered in. That is... real network and computer HARDWARE.
So I went on and punished myself with 4 modules, a review and a couple of pointers from previous certification passers. Then I mustered up everything including the payment for the examinations and tried this on one generous morning. I was really really afraid because some of my former classmates in the review center (from what I heard) did not pass. That's just detrimental to the plans I'm shooting for... First things first..the step is the Routing and Switching...which I painfully repeated to myself over and over and over again... it became a norm so I hope that would purge my nervousness from taking the exams.
So ladies and gentlemen... I passed... not that high of an average but it’s just enough to pass the exams...and waited so anxiously for the ID to be mailed… Let us all praise God! A big "THANKS" to him for taking good care of me. ^_^
Yeap!, now the picture seems a little bit clearer. After working a couple of years for this IT corp., I can now plan ahead and put these dreams into reality...one by one. I am in a bit of a hurry, to climb up the corporate ladder, this particular year included so I plan to get the open positions. It may be technical, administrative or managerial in nature but my forte would probably fall still in the same category. Now the certification even made me enjoy the perks, now that it is also long known and recognized worldwide I could seize opportunities elsewhere too. You can have the same opportunities that I had; just make sure you get it from the one and the best… only CISCO! Only their Cisco certification
