4th Impeachment Complaint Against President Arroyo

President GMA showing the signs of aging lolz. Headaches coming on this impeachment again!

The 4th and probably the final impeachment complaint against President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has been filed in the lower house this morning by Jose de Venecia III, Atty. Harry Roque and Iloilo Vice Governor Rolex Suplico. Receiving the complaint was Deputy General Ricardo Roque and endorsed by well known activists/Party list representatives Satur Ocampo, Teddy Casino and Lisa Masa.

They went there about 7am in the morning to file this so they would be the first one to do so. Remember the last time when Atty. Lozano filed for it and it was recognized? heheh... I guess they don't want to be in the same boat as last year.. Just thinking about wasted time and money again for this, they did not even know this would take years... and the election would be next year... someone is definitely not thinking huh?!

Well it's their right, so nobody can complain about that... I mean you know how miserable politics is in the Philippines... yeah you know!

Have we became a country of partisan politics? If they don't win the election and get what they want, they just complain? Is that really healthy or is it just a waste of time? In my books, its just a waste... a real waste of people's taxes... why don't they just work like most of us do... and pay their taxes right... nothing like this would help our image abroad... just really hate it when we are taken aback in the economy just because we have the most circus every time we elect people for office. Sheeesh!

The President is being accused of betrayal of public trust, culpable violation of the Constitution and criminal responsibility with extra-judicial killings and disappearances, NBN-ZTE deal, North Rail Project, Mount Diwalwal Project, fertilizer scam among others.

I heard in the news this morning, that Joey de Venecia is asking for support with this impeachment complaint. I doubt it, they'll probably just end up noisy... I hope the economy just does not get affected by this! but it probably will. I hope former Speaker Jose De Venecia doesn't lobby this in the Congress, this will fireball more noise of course! Hate that!

CHARICE meets MARIAH CAREY ; Another dream come true!

People thought things wouldn't be better than Charice already appearing in Oprah and having her to sing with the likes of Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Andrea Bocelli, and Celine Dion among other big names in the industry... but just this week, (i guess?!) a raw footage in youtube showed Charice meeting her longtime idol Mariah Carey... her young tears flowed on the carpet in this benefit concert they went to.... (interview seemed to be with Atty. Garfinkel) she met Mariah and her husband and once nobody thought it was possible until this happened. I'm so proud of this young girl from my homeland... I guess all Filipinos would be too right? ^_^

20 Milk Based Products Cleared of Melamine

Melamine is for plastic products like these and should not have been added to milk! sheesh!

20 more milk based products have been tested negative by the BFAD Philippines. This is the third batch of tests that the bureau has conducted after the melamine scare that has affected China based milk products. Melamine is an ingredient for plastic based materials and has been found on some of their products. This has caused a couple of baby deaths in China and elsewhere in the world since they exported this in Asia and other places in the world.

Philippine President GMA; Proud of The Strong Economy despite US Recession

Hey! don't compare the height! People say she's strong and powerful yeh know!

Despite the global economic crisis that affected the US, Europe and Asia... the Phillippine economy continues to be strong says President Arroyo. From a tv show I watched this afternoon, she stressed while speaking on a conference in Makati that the government she says has readied itself for these kind of situations. I doubt that it is the real score but I consider this strength is caused by the millions and billions of dollars that our Overseas Filipino Workers is pouring in as expected because we are obviously nearing the Yuletide season.

Nothing beats Christmas celebrations in the Philippines! We spend a lot this season!

I've heard that even the discovered oil in the Galoc property is going to earn 60-40 in favor of the government (in royalties) and it will be cheaper to transport oil from there instead of ports elsewhere. Palawan crude will be still sold at prices indicated by the world market. I just hope the government does not waste this opportunity to have the resources' earnings go to the rightful set of people. They in turn would be able to use the money for the right projects and make our country stable before the 200million barrels of oil run out. I hope that its not the last of it too because they are still exploring of course!

We (the Philippines) by the way have a 7 percent GNP rate last 2007 and it is expected to be higher this year unlike other countries that are in a slowdown. She also urges the business community to report anomalies to the anti-red tape task force. I just hope this just works so lets just be optimistic and cross our fingers and stop complaining too much! lolz! ^_^
