KUMAGCOW MOOOOVIE REVIEWS: High School Musical 3

Thursday, November 13, 2008

No, I never watched 1 and 2 so I dunno! Gimme a break!

I know I would be a little hard on you guys that may have watched and liked High School Musical 1, High School Musical 2 and people slaving on cable watching the Disney Channel for the same. Well... to tell you frankly when I watched this movie, I was clueless who Troy Bolton, Gabriella Montez, Chad Danforth, Taylor McKessie, Sharpay and Ryan Evans were. I only knew Zach Efron?!!! and half Filipina Vanessa since they have been raving in the news for quite a while but their characters here were a little far off from what I expected. Not to mention that it should have had a warning the movie were for teeny boppers ONLY (around 10-13) and not for the faint of heart of CUTESIE roles....(NAUMAY AKO SA SOBRANG PACUTE EH) I did not like it because maybe I was not a fan enough of the movie... yeah maybe.. well some parts were worth watching... and maybe again, just maybe if I started watching this since High School Musical 1 I'd give a fair reading on how this would critically be. All in all it was like GREASE... not with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John (which I enjoyed)... and was really intended for 3-17yo kids who didn't go out much I guess.... but really don't listen to my reviews for this since I never watched High School Musical 1 and the others.... maybe someday I will....if someone gives me a DVD copy...any offers?! (O_o)

I'm just going to give this 2 KUMAGS in the mean time ok?! Hope you kids don't get mad at me... ^_^

President-Elect Barack Obama in Chicago's Speech

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

It's been a few days since Barack Obama was hailed the President Elect of the US. I was listening to this morning's news and it was all about how he went in and around the Whitehouse. This is the first time an African American President has set foot in the Oval office. They had photo opportunities in the Southern Lawn of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

In my thoughts, this was freedom... just looking at what feat this man has made all made waves when he delivered that speech last week. Those were not just goosebumps... there were tears among people... who wouldn't remember those words:

8 Things About Myself... ^_^

Monday, November 10, 2008

MOMnificent, who's one of my friends and part of my Blog Roll tagged me and asked to list down 8 Things about myself.

1. I am a KUMAG, which means I'm a lil crazy kid inside. I always plan things so I could get what I want but if I can't I'd probably make HANDUSAY (go ballistic and roll on the floor) and still get what I want LOL.

2. I am a Filipino, inheritor of a glorious past and hostage of an uncertain future. My bloodline is of Spanish decent. I look fine. I'm a big guy with big guns (my arms are huge from working out lolz) I hate my beer belly every time I look at it lolz... I'll probably get them perfect washboard abs by next year! ^_^ I'm a gym rat.

3. I like my job. I work a lot, then workout at the gym, I blog, then play online games (cabal and RAN online) which comprises my daily routine. I only go out on weekends.

4. I have not incurred a single absence from my company since 2003. I went on a vacation leave a few times but never an absence. I haven't taken a single leave this year btw and am running for perfect attendance at work still ^_^

5. I love to dance, I go clubbing mostly on weekends with friends and go to the finest bars in the metro. My wifey loves to see me dance too... no matter how big I look lolz... I also sing... I can sing songs by women too lolz... I mimic voices and am not that too proud of my original voice. So I usually stick to other voices I could carry a tune with (on a range much like Kenny Loggins etc.)

6. I can't buy a car, because I lack parking space at home already ^_^ The van's too big.

7. I love watching Food Network shows... Barefoot Contessa, Giadda De Laurenti, Mario Batalli, Gordon Elliot, Bobby Flay... I know them all... I cook too... If I taste something I usually can cook them too... I usually know the ingredients once I get to taste em. ^_^ I'm getting hungry lolz...

8. My phone (a Nokia 6280) is also my friend, I usually text (use sms) about 200 times a day... and receive about the same amount from friends... or maybe more I lost count lolz...

There you go….now I am tagging my other favorite blogs here:

1. rabsin_d
2. med
3. mothercares
4. bryanJ
5. LY
6. myWORLDisUNKNOWN
7. vedamarice
8. maicel

And the tag rules to follow are:
1 - Each player starts with eight random fact/habits about themselves.
2 - People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
3 - At the end of your blog post, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their name.
4 - Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged and to read your blog.
Happy Tagging!

Zenni Optical : Revolutionizing Choices in the Eyecare Industry

I've been telling all my friends about this site which I've recommended twice here already. ZenniOptical.com is an online store that wishes you to have affordable and world class quality eyeglasses. You know how expensive things are in the United States and in Britain. With the credit crunch also becoming a factor to anyone in the world, consumers would want to purchase necessities wisely. Prescription eyeglasses have prices skyrocketing in the recent decades. People should not suffer more in these times where health care should always be a priority. Good thing ZenniOptical.com understands this and only would charge you a very kind price in the $8 - $20 range, not a preposterous $400 frame when the only difference is the designer brand. Everyone should have the choice to get high quality eyeglasses and make it affordable worldwide.

In the US, ZenniOptical.com has created opportunities for choice in the frame and prescription glasses market. This has always been their niche; their trademark is to make their products affordable without sacrificing quality. Did you also hear about their feature in Fox News? That was really an in depth look at their products. They even have their products mentioned in this article:

Even the Chicago Tribune recommends consumers to take a look at spending for these things wisely. People should never stick to the notion of only buying their eyeglasses from their doctors who normally charge very high. With the same quality they can get it at around $8 at ZenniOptical.com. You should try it out/recommend to your friends and relatives the choices you make. It's a not just a bargain, it's a steal already so why wait?!
