Great MMO Deals!

There's nothing better than living in a fantasy world where Ogres, Elves, Dwarfs, Magicians and other creatures come alive and conquer other kingdoms. World of War craft has always been on top of the list of thousands of players around the world. I've tried playing this particular game in local servers and I've been impressed with the various aspects of the famous M.M.O.R.P.G. An average of half the student population in the US probably plays this game by blizzard entertainment. Game play and graphics are of outstanding quality and I can't even take my hands off of it when I got the chance to play with it here using credentials from the US. That's the value of getting them online anyway.

There are a couple of things you need to understand about this game that sets it apart from its competitors. The over all impression I got from World of War craft is that it is complete; and I'd probably consider getting a new account for myself sometime soon. I'd probably have a hard time getting to a specific level but I'm not worried because there are several companies that sell M.M.O.R.P.G. game accounts in North America. I know one place where they have cheap wow accounts. I'll get my keyboards oiled up and ready for the quests and battles of WOW after I get one at http://www.buymmoaccounts.com. Need I say more?

ERASERHEADS : THE LAST SET!

I've never been so excited in my entire life! Raymund, Buddy, Marcus and Ely is back for the Last Set of their shortened show in the Fort last December. On March 7, 2009, will they be ending all my hopes and dreams of seeing the ERASERHEADS making music once again.

A lot of things were not played last time because the concert was cut short with Ely's health condition. This time I'd like to see em prepared and without a doubt to finish what they started.

Ticket Prices are NOT GOING TO BE DISCOUNTED to people that went to the first REUNION CONCERT and will be sold off at these prices:

I also included a map of the venue which is going to be in Mall of Asia. Apparently they are going to put the VIP's in that yellow area. If funding does not allow it, I'd probably be in the Gold or Silver Areas. I hope I don't end up with those FEELINGEROT FEELINGERANG fan of the Eraserheads that went there and didn't even know a single song from any of their album. People like you shouldn't go to concerts like this just because your in the IN crowd for crying out loud! I'll bring a better camera phone to get em videos published in youtube or here in my website. I'd probably cry if they get to finish this one hahahah ^_^

SEE YAH GUYS THERE!!!

Remembering the Horror of Holodomor

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

I was reading a couple of articles off the Internet and stumbled upon this one. I have no words to explain what I suddenly felt after reading the pronouncements indicated in that particular page. In fact, I was a little disturbed.

I didn’t know that there was such an incident such as this. The horrific events that transpired in the holocaust and what I watched in Schindler’s List was already a tough reminder of the inhuman things that was done at this era. I did not know that there was a supposed other great one that happened in the 30’s.

The Soviet Union was a gigantic super power in the Cold War era. I was aware of some Stalin made occurrences which I read from college literatures but it was not described as graphic as this. Even if the holodomor was an incident brought upon by nature in that region, the number of deaths indicated seems to be far from justified proportions. Imagine the 6-8 million peasant deaths during the famine of 1932-1933; I just couldn’t believe someone would just leave them to perish in that condition for a year. I just wish they realize the value of human rights before implementing industrialization in those regions. I guess this was the reality they faced when communism prevailed in this part of the world. I hope the independent states now try to work out a better system rather than fighting over rights on Natural Gas transport because a lot of people are suffering now not just in the former Soviet states but in the rest of Eastern Europe. The need for action is now in my honest opinion.

OBAMA MANIA in Manila!

Everybody's excited in Manila for the Inauguration of the US President Barack Obama. I have followed his journey since the Democratic convention and have seen remarkable differences on what he's doing, where he is, and what he plans to do next. The biggest hurdle perhaps is still the US Economic crisis which he needs to get started on DAY 1.

More that 2 million will attend the inauguration of the first ever Black US president. A star studded cast of hundreds of celebrities were said to be following the inauguration ceremonies in order to be included in the event. Oprah will lead among supporters of Barack and our own Charice will be singing God Bless America in one of the dinners he's hosting. David Foster arranged this rendition so it really did come to merge with Cha's voice. It was really nice to see her there.

The city of Manila has been relatively peaceful and less crowded this evening because most have stayed within their homes watching images like these unfold.
