No Nightmare Easy Backups!

Tuesday, January 27, 2009

Network Storage Devices nowadays cost more that previous years. Things like backing up files relatively became too complicated for an ordinary home user. It goes to choosing the right drive to attach, to schedule the particular task and not to mention the arduous task of how to keep it automatic because no one wants to do it manually these days.

I got a fright a few months ago when I had some problems with my own because my PC suddenly went haywire on me. Memory was having a hard time coping up with the programs I had open on my computer. I was thinking it was really that but then again, my anti virus program was detecting some processes running which literally put it into snails pace. The bad thing was I only got part of my system backed up because the program I had for it was not doing what it’s supposed to. I got into the nightmare of forcibly formatting my hard drive and OS which took me so much of my time I haven't even had time to sleep. Imagine the time I wasted just for that!

I am willing to change for the better so I'd try out this software package from EZBACKUP Software where you can Download Free Trial versions of it. Maybe after trying that out, I'll grab the opportunity to have that since it will be discounted 51% from its original price on February 9th. OMG it's have the price!

The EzBackup promotion is surely going to take care of me so I won't get these nightmares anymore. Aren't you glad I told you about this?

Amazing Race Season 14

I don't really know what season it is in the US but according to the article I read this is the 13th one. Although its weird because the article describe the contestants which have the photos all over the site linked to CBS. So probably the people who won it are the ones in the last episode indicated on it. Is it the 13th or 14th one that we have to watch on February? hmmm that's probably a different one I suppose right? because if they did that then nobody would probably watch the show anymore heheh.

Hmm... yeah...ok I saw it i saw it... ^_^ Look at this and I quote "11 two-person teams racing for the $1 million prize in the upcoming 14th season" so its probably the 14th one we're seeing come February. I am a follower of this one obviously, together with the asian Amazing Race too. At least we had Rovilson and Mark entertaining people hehehh... and they are rich already I think??? But what I mostly love about what they were doing was the tandem itself... the talks in between were hilarious... and of course girls go gaga with them too. I just was glad Tisha and Geoff were in Season 3, but didn't like the fights between them obviously.

I on the other hand would like to join some day... but not now coz I have tons of reports to finish hahahahah!

A Slice of Bread

Monday, January 26, 2009

The morning shines when I get out of work and the first few things that make me happy after work is breakfast. Coffee, bagel, pancakes and toast were a staple for this cute marshmallow man type of guy. I really need some comfort food every now and then to get me through the day even when I’m on a diet. I’ve been eating lots of bread for a while now; I’ve cut down on rice so I’m trying my best to stick with it.

With the bland taste of bread I was wondering what I could eat when I’m already getting bored with the same white rye from the same old bakeshop. I grabbed some of them and made pizza out of our toaster oven. That’s one thing I did right, the viands kept me happy because I could put almost anything on it once it’s toasted. About the toaster we have at home, its actually getting a little bit old. I kind of miss the first one I used when I was a kid that looks like the ones in American movies where you get to press and pop the oven when it’s done. We didn’t have that anymore so we kind of were stuck at what’s available in the market. I tried to look at some of them in the mall appliance center, oh boy were they getting expensive.

There were different types of oven toasters already, of which some had various features which I don’t really need. It’s time I try to check out some sites like http://www.toasterovensguide.com so I narrow down my choices. There were a lot of them that had convection and microwave toaster ovens with them. I like the classic 50’s looking ones that can make them simple. I think I’ll be buying that soon. I like spreading butter on them; I get to have my cup of tea too. How about you?!

Katie Stam of Indiana crowned as Miss America

Here's news for the pageant freaks and those who love women in swimsuits LOLZ! Katie Stam of Indiana was just crowned as Miss America 2009. What's even amazing was she won this contest while sick of Laryngitis and a throat infection...sheesh!

Of course, how can I forget the part that you would want to watch aka the swimsuits hahahah.

I see that Katie Stam is the first Ms. Indiana to be hailed as Ms. America. The hoosier state has not produced any since the beginning of the pageant. They did place some but never won it. I guess the xfactor came out of this competition because if you check out how she made moves on stage and walked, she was just enjoying herself. The poses were very relaxed and very modelish rather than pageanty. She's also a 22-year-old University of Indianapolis student so most probably they'll have all their squads available once she gets back. Is it just me or are their Ms USA's getting a little matured looking? (O_o)"
