Boys Before Flowers

Monday, February 02, 2009

I've been watching this Korean version of Meteor Garden and the title seems a little wee bit different than the HANA YORI DANGO original Japanese cartoon everyone loved in the 80's. It's now called Boys Before Flowers and it seems they still are filming the episodes until now. I like the general plot of the story even if it was slightly disfigured.

Scenes were taken avast from Paris, to resorts outside the country and some rich South Korean neighborhoods here and there. I love the Taiwanese version of it so why would'nt I like this Korean version. Well, some parts were a little bit off like the lead star, she wasn't that too pretty. Unlike the popular San Chai and the other women in the Taiwanese version, this was a mere third degree of beautiful women. Although in the classy department, they are already topnotch.

I don't know what's wrong but in this version there is something definitely missing. I hope they come out with bigger scenes next time. I love the cars by the way! hehe

Argue with Me!

I know I haven't been the most pleasing person in the University of the East. I did not plan to even be one as a matter of fact. I usually am heard leading arguments here and there. I keep it a point that people hear what I'm thinking about in any topic or form. I stand on my moral high ground most of the time and deal with students, professors and politicians in my town. I don't care if they plan to beat me in a word war because I'm one of those people who can handle it. This is my forte and I keep it real.

I even joined debates, essay writing contests, general information quiz shows and have championed most of them. I don't want to brag about it but I handle my self well even if you ask some of my peers. A class discussion in history for example made me butt heads with 50 students. I insisted on my point even if I knew at that time that I was raising the issue incorrectly. I was just amused because nobody could disprove me even if they tried ha-ha!

Today, there’s a new place where you and I can do the same feat and it’s at http://www.arguewitheveryone.com/. The site is generally not moderated so you can get the no holds barred political debate ambiance you want. I would never miss the opportunity to join them so why should you be the last one to do so, right?!

Plans To Buy This Year : A Car

I've been thinking these past few months to purchase a car but we all know I wouldn't be able to fit in another car in the cramped garage we're in and besides, I have other priorities than that. Maybe we would have to get the two walls broken down so we can get ample space for another one. Aside from that, there are lots of hardware here and there. There must be some other way we could get some of it out of the way first so the stuff we had in the trunk won't look that messy. I was looking at solutions for storage at local hardware stores but they all were made of cheap plastic that came from East Asia. That would not really work for the setup we would want to accomplish. Good thing there were good things we noticed at some other blogs I've grown fond with. It's time to take a look at them now and check out the various designs we can choose from.

Then probably I can buy that car I was taking a look at in the Honda store heheh. Though one big problem is that I haven't consulted people at home about it yet. Hopefully I get something positive out of this than ranting here in my site ^_^ but it won't be one of those robots in the pics above I'm sure of that! ^_^

More Out of Stem Cell Research

Stem Cell Research has come a long way from earlier days of antagonism from the US government and other countries that are members of the United Nations. Some dealings over the moral obligation of an individual and humans in general are put up in question. The general rule however still stayed to weather it can really benefit us or not.

Religiously speaking, it has not been a good deal here in the Philippines because for the most part of it the Church has been meddling with this particular issue. I don't really get their point for whatever its worth but in my own view, as long as it does more for the survival of humans and save lives then I'm all for it.

Emerge Labs has come up with a breakthrough in organic skin care. Now, this total anti-aging solution is available in the market. The benefits of it surpass everything that has been said in the past. It has been proven effective to reduce fine lines. Going the natural way has never been this phenomenally convenient. So if you want softer, younger looking skin the only name to trust is Emerge Organic Skin Care. You know you'll get the most out of it!
