Auditing Professional Certification: A Necessity

Wednesday, August 12, 2009

The medical industry is in dire need of professionals. The Philippines has eagerly supplied Medical Doctors, Nurses and health professionals other countries since the early 90's. There are still shortages of registered Nurses; care givers in the US, Europe, Japan and other westernized countries because the unemployment and retirement rate has increased in the past few years.

Blue collared positions like Medical Audit specialists also are not exempted since they are needed in the implementation of health programs, industries like insurance companies, private clinics, hospitals and establishments. Certifications from world renowned organizations can set ordinary auditors apart from the rest of the plain graduates coming out of schools. There are certain standards that they will have to meet before getting recognized by the best multinational companies because you just cannot trust anyone your hard earned money.

This is where the American Association of Medical Audit Specialists has been pioneering in this industry as they have certified CMAS professionals for a few years now. It inculcates recognition from peers, the organization and the community as a whole. Getting this on your credentials is definitely a plus for this awesome profession. Without it, life would be less than ordinary. So make sure if you are in the auditing business, get your people certification that they need. It is a necessity in these harsh economic times.

MANILA COMIC CON 2009

Sunday, August 09, 2009

Here are pictures from this morning's comic convention 2009 in Megamall.

ENJOY!!! c^^,)

It was a warm Saturday afternoon, since I was not scheduled for a photo shoot this weekend I was lounging around the house sitting here and there and binge eating again on Twizzlers and popcorn (weird combination huh?!) I was on a diet so I had to think of a way to entertain my self. So I got up from bed and decided I've got to get my clicking urge satisfied today. There was an event being talked about a forum I frequent and it was held in Megamall. The Metro Comic Convention 2009! It was my first time attending the event and of course I was not there just for the ladies! (^_^) I was there to shoot interesting subjects, I was not disappointed! From Toys, Comic books, COSPLAY people, models, the list just goes on and on. I was not afraid to go there alone though... well to think about it this was the first time I was planning to shoot alone... aside from food reviews I do every now and then.

I got there around 2 or 3PM I think and saw the cosplayers sitting outside Megatrade hall where they usually do these events. It was nice, I had the first few shots dedicated to them but then I saw the life size figures in the center so I concentrated more on that and the toys. That was really good shooting because the images I saw after that were great... I saw some of the D60KREW photographers there also so in the end I wasn't really alone. I had so much fun as you can see because I got so many out of those few hours spent inside the comic con. I am sure I'll be back next year!

Major Renovations Ahead!

Thursday, August 06, 2009

This morning my Mom and I talked about renovating the kitchen. Since we needed parts of it fixed, might as well completely tear the house apart so they can eliminate problems with termite infestation since most of it is wood. The counter top needs updating so I recommended they get marble slabs for that and the bathroom sink. It would be classy to get one on a post 70's designed house like ours.

This was definitely going to be costly but what can we do, we need to do it before September when my relatives arrive. I would not want them to stare at the old dilapidated ceiling when it rains. That is if the almost 60 typhoons that the country suffers do not get here first. I wonder how much it is going to cost me this time.

Maybe I have to get back to the drawing board and whip up something for my Mom to approve on. She knows these things but then if I do not get inspired within the next few weeks, I would probably start staring on a blank wall because they will probably end up looking ordinary. I wish it would look something like this in the picture.

Wish me luck!

August , 2009 : The Meeting with Boss @ Shangrila Hotel

Richard, Jesse, Vince, Tarik, Bernadette and Kennette

It was a tiring day today... but it was great! My boss from the US is in town to meet with us, his people from Manila. It was a relaxed and a great exchange of ideas transpired on what we hope will be the next phase of our project. In the coming months, there will be huge changes in the work that we do. The Internet has various highways, and it seems we will be touching all of them. From social networks, messaging systems and other media, the list just goes on and on. We will never stop creating avenues for the service that we do.

We also talked about a lot of things, about how his trip went in Davao and Cagayan De Oro. The extremities between those cities and how horrible Manila is. It was from a foreigners view so it was quite amusing to hear. He was even updated to local politics so it wasn't an ordinary talk... it spanned everything in the US, Jordan and the differences of how things work in the Philippines. He was a little tired though because he traveled from China, Malaysia and the 2 provinces Philippines. I hope he enjoyed every bit of it since I know the team had a huge boost of morale because he visited us here. Not to mention Shangrila Hotel was posh hehehe. Here's the pictures!
