I FOUND IT!!!

Sunday, August 16, 2009

I've been looking for a batch watermarking software since it is so hard to post process photos one by one in Photoshop. I have downloaded at least 7 and installed them on my laptop. But they all end up asking for payment and put weird lines and their company name on it. This is really not a good thing. Today I just discovered the answer to my problems so I would love to share this with you.

This is the software I use for batch watermarking… It’s called FastStone Photo Resizer 2.8

You can download it here CLICK THIS

To use it, make your signature first on Photoshop using the text tool and or a graphic…

Make sure you make a layer that is unlocked so you can crop your signature afterwards…

Save that signature as a PNG file on your local hard drive

After that, open Fast stone Photo Resizer 2.8
Select the photos you want to put a watermark on (hold Ctrl + photos can select multiple photos) and click the Add button on the top right hand corner (you can choose your output folder too)

I chose 2 photos just for this example

on this batch convert tab press the button right next to the Use Advanced Options (Resize) section

On this new window, click the Watermark tab and check add watermark

Click the button beside watermark image and choose the PNG file you saved on your hard drive

Carefully adjust the opacity level (mine works on 25-35 but its up to you!) so it should look something like this:

TIP: Make sure your signature is big enough for the picture you are putting it in, do some tests until you get the output right…

Press OK then press CONVERT… then click DONE… your photo should look something like this

ENJOY!! Now it's so easy to post process pictures!

What Do You Get When You See A Blue Light?!

Friday, August 14, 2009

I have been shopping these past few weeks and got quite a deal on a number of establishments I went to. I remember I got 10 percent off on the pair of jeans I bought and it was not that difficult to find because I came to one place called KMART. It has been a Mecca for deal finders and shoppers all over North America. I thought that it would not be better but hey, I was wrong!

COW

There is this one special day they call Kmart Bluelight special in the store happening the whole day Saturday, August 15, 2009. Kids Backpacks which regularly sells for $19.99 now only sells $8, American Fare Vita-Water 2 for $1, Patio Furniture 70% off + an extra 20%, 70 count Notebooks – has a Buy 2 Get 1 promo Free, Diamond Jewelry extra 10% (Diamonds are already 70% off this week!) all happening on that day where KMART is known for; the BLUELIGHT SPECIALS.

I'm sure a lot would be lining up the store on this day because only KMART gives us real value for money. Why spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars in purchasing items that you eventually would regret in the future. KMART gives us the privilege to save money in these hard times so why not grab the opportunity this weekend?! It is a good thing that I follow Kmart on Twitter to get the best deals and updates direct from the store. Not only should you buy me that next pair of jeans I need, buy one for your self too.

Sad Story from This Sad Picture

Photobucket

I did a little treatment on the photos I took this morning. I think I am now a little inspired to tackle street photography. It does not only stay on this particular subject. The photos that I took seemed to speak also of the current situation, you think more of the lack of action from government agencies and the community.

You think about their parents too that subject them to beg and or force them to sell flowers in the streets so they can eat something every day. My heart is just crushed everytime I see scenes like this. I wish there was something I could do to alleviate poverty in the Philippines but I can only do much. I can only use the camera to show them about this subject.

The Stories Are Real

Thursday, August 13, 2009

I do not watch horror movies that much for fear of having them in my dreams the night after. I had a few nightmares already and I feel that this is just not healthy. Though I really like the way my friends shriek inside the cinemas, I laugh at them every now and then. There was this one time I felt the story was so real on TV I spilled food and soda all over the living room; little did I know it was the truTV effect. It is completely mind blowing how it can cause physical and emotional effects to anyone who sees it. Because it is real, you are going to be affected... you might end up taking more than half of the actual experience the people inside the video are feeling.

I just took a short break from work this afternoon but I ended up glued to the Halloween Heist episode done by the Masterminds. I forgot to even buy a cup of coffee that time because I was already shaking of nervousness from that episode. Call me weird; call me a sissy but I'm sure if you take a couple of minutes watching these shows they have available, you will end up on the same psychiatric ward that I am enjoying. Ha-ha just joking!

Take a break from your hectic schedule today and make it a habit to watch that truTV video we love. Ask your friends to join in too so they would remind you how you initially had fun reacting to shows from the one and only TRUTV.
