Photobucket

I
t has been 5 months since I have taken photography seriously and have amassed about 5000 or more pictures. This is because I have been a lot of places and taken this hobby of mine into another level ever since I got my D60 camera. My hard drive space is closely filling up because I have been taking raw images since the very beginning as advised by my mentors so I could post process them easily. I have taken in consideration purchasing additional storage but I guess it is quite expensive. I would have to save quite an amount before I could buy network storage that would fit my need.

In the meantime, I would need to have my backups done on CD and DVD since that is the cheaper alternative. I may have to consider getting professionals to do this job since I would not want to lose months of information and images. I know the feeling of losing years of work because I have not secured people who know what they are doing. I lost 4 years of email when I got some random friend do that handy work for me. I do not want to be completely disappointed when it comes to these. DVD Mastering in Boston has never been better. It is one place to go to for graphic and print production facilities. They take care of these needs and let experts do the job for you. The DVD Mastering Boston has; sets it apart from state competitors because they believe in not sacrificing quality. I would not want to commit the same mistake I did a couple of months ago. I had to re associate all my sent items just to have a vague description of my in box because I never recovered my files. The CD Mastering Boston takes pride for is another thing to look at because they also are at par with the world's best when it comes to duplication, and Digital Offset Printing. Make the right choice like what people are doing in the Boston area and you would never be afraid of losing tons of work!

Filipino Shows in International Emmy Awards

Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin from LOBO

Yes you heard it right. I thought I was reading something from a tabloid too when my eyes passed by that part. Little did I know that it was true. Angel Locsin is now nominated for Best Actress for Lobo, while Kahit Isang Saglit (A time for us) with Carmen Soo and Jericho Rosales and Magdusa Ka of Katrina Halili and Dennis Trillo is nominated for Best Telenovela together with Brazil's India- A Love Story and France's Second Chance. It seems just awesome seeing Filipino flicks appearing before the world's best.

Carmen Soo and Jericho Rosales from A Time For Us (Kahit Isang Saglit)

Angel Locsin's Best Actress category is no joke because she will be pitted against Mexico's Cecilia Suarez for Capadocia, British actress Julie Walters for A Short Stay In Switzerland (who also appeared in Harry Potter) and France's Emma de Caunes for Night Birds. This is just a big deal for Philippine Television indeed.

Katrina Halili and Dennis Trillo from Magdusa Ka!

Over 600 judges from 50 different countries judged these programs in a span of 6 months. The awarding ceremonies will be seen from Hilton New York on November 23, 2009. From KUMAGCOW and the rest of the Philippines, GOODLUCK!

Reminiscing San Diego!

Monday, October 05, 2009

Oh I still remember the time when I went to San Diego when I was a kid. I went to Sea World and got my first glimpse of mammals from the ocean. The sheer view of Killer Whales and seals got me hooked on their show. I was even invited to participate in their program but only got myself wet in the process. Good thing my Mom was there to change my clothes, or I could catch a cold ha-ha!

I love the sea obviously and it has been my long withstanding dream to have my own san diego weddings on a boat. Who would not like that! Imagine your friends and family enjoying every bit of that special occasion while you start taking in that breeze on a cold summer night. Together with San Diego Dinner cruises around the area, you would never miss the pleasure how to eat in style. I would definitely consider this place if I am going to get married. Maybe soon when my girlfriend shoots me that question, I would be thinking how to get a San Diego Yacht Charter in place. From my childhood, to the day I want to be with someone; this has definitely made my shortlist because wishes keep coming true in San Diego. I'll be back there soon!

UE Red Warriors wins versus ATENEO Blue Eagles by 20 Points!

Sunday, October 04, 2009

It was all heart. That was the weapon that obliterated the hopes of a back to back sweep of the finals game of UE vs Ateneo. Norman Black had a huge problem of maintaining composure with the offensive assault of the UE Red Warriors. I was so proud of the guys a while ago because of that 20 point lead that they had on this game. Imagine, 3 of them had double digits after the game which really spelled the doom for the Ateneo Blue Eagles. Not to mention the salty hands of Jai Reyes from the perimeter area and the childish complaints of the middle eastern guy made when he got nudged a couple of times under the basket. It was good to see people were really challenging him even on that height advantage. The Warriors were pretty much playing a smart game. That is why on Game # 2, they won this one!

Elmer Espiritu and Pari Llagas definitely will not retire their shirts without a fight for the red and white. They showed form and composure and they all got their shots sunk that gave them this huge lead. A winner take all game will transpire on Thursday and I am sure the University of the East Red Warriors will win this one! With the whole UE crowd and the UE Red Tribe nothing is impossible! Go Fight Red and White!

The Scores:

UE 88 – Espiritu 22, Llagas 19, Lee 13, Acuna 12, Lingganay 7, Reyes 6, Zamar 5, Duran 4, Tagarda 0, Bandaying 0.

ADMU 68 – Al-Hussaini 18, Monfort 12, Reyes 11, Baclao 10, Austria 6, Salamat 4, Long 3, Chua 2, Buenafe 2, Sumalinog 0, Salva 0.

Quarters: 18-15, 38-40, 63-53, 88-68.
