Relaxing A Bit...
Monday, May 03, 2010
I took time to stop and do nothing this weekend to do one of the most luxurious things while most people suffer in the sweltering heat of the sun; I took a very long bath in the tub. I got those fancy salts commonly seen in spas and used them to exfoliate because I was turning a little tan even if I haven't seen the beach in a while. It was perfect because no one was at home and the silence was more like therapy in some way. It puts you into a Zen like ambiance and makes you enjoy the refreshing feeling a bath can do. The pretty bathroom vanity my Mom put up inside was perfect since it contained all the soaps or moisturizers I need to perk up a bad mood that day. I woke up in the wrong side of bed I guess but I was feeling a little better after that.
I know there are people already getting sick from the heat and I would not want to be the next casualty. I am so glad I tried it out and I'm planning to make it a regular thing if everything falls into plan soon. I have some products I could use from a contest I won a couple of weeks ago and I know it would make a better regimen if I had this done regularly. I love it!
Walking On Sunshine At Night
Well I think I'm a little happy today because I saw some friends again in Facebook. I like the things we did in college and it was again a time of nostalgia and reminiscing. It's pretty descent! i did not put any photos that would be detrimental to their professional careers LOL.
I was quite amused when I was scanning the old photos this morning. Some of them included me with long hair so imagine how funny that would look if I got it public haha.
I was asked by my peer to have something bought through Amazon this evening. I saw the chance to buy a 35mm lens for my cam and it would probably cost cheaper if I got it there. Actually seeing the checkout counter it is almost half. I just don't know the tax and the delivery cost but it seems it can qualify to be free since it is above 25 dollars. Hmmm... this is making me think about what to buy now heheh... will I buy the UV filter also? It says it costs around 10 dollars but I think filters cost cheaper here.
GAS... gadget acquisition syndrome I know! But hey if its going to cost smaller than what I can buy here in the Philippines it's a smart thing to do! =)
In the meantime to make you guys happy try and listen to the video I posted with this one and you'll remember some happy times even at night.... the time when you are just plainly happy and walking on sunshine! =)

Seal it up!
Friday, April 30, 2010
I am a self confessed gadget freak and just like the rest of my pals who are also photographers; this is the time where we need to be extra careful with our stuff. Digital cameras like my small IXUS are very hard to clean; and is very delicate as far as the weather is concerned. If you get it a little wet and it could get the circuits shorted in no time! That would really be expensive to get fixed and you are not even sure if they can because spare parts are scarce on this side of the globe. Good thing there are i-Seal Waterproof Pouches and other remedies that we can get to protect them from the harsh weather or elements that could easily damage our gear. Whoever invented it must have been thinking right because he knows how important weatherproofing and waterproofing is. I never thought that it was even possible to have my camera underwater but seeing the video makes me think otherwise. This is just awesome and I hope I could get this one here for my IPHONE!

JEJEMON
Thursday, April 29, 2010
Okay. So here comes the JEJEMON. Filipinos have become so inventive with language that the normal textspeak now became an evolution of the jologs lifestyle, it has now become JEJEMON. There are a lot of legends how this all started but if you think about it its all just but a claim they know where it started... its all urban legend. Even the so called JEJEBUSTERS are in the news and do you even take time to understand how these guys work?! I thought so... its time consuming and it doesn't look that appealing. So why waste time?!
I'm really sorry I even made a post about this but with or without JEJEMON it still is the topic that people are looking for. According to the search terms in Yahoo this is number one so I'm not really going to even justify how it did capture all our attention at this particular time. Everyone is looking for its meaning and someway somehow we all waste our time on things that do not even count as real subjects such as these. I wouldn't blame you, you have to still go over these things in your lifetime. I mean hey, even a big network news channel did it so why don't we! =)
